Absolute Battery Monster & Blazing Fast Charging – The King of Practicality!

I recently switched to the OnePlus Nord CE6 after a brief stint with the Nothing Phone 3A Pro (and having unluckily lost my Nord CE4 before that). While the Nothing phone was aesthetically brilliant with great cameras, it heavily missed the mark on daily battery endurance and charging speed for my usage. Moving back to this OnePlus device has been an absolute game-changer. Here is my breakdown after putting the device through its paces (According to my experiences and usage patterns) : 🔋 Battery Life: Elite Tier Endurance The battery performance on this phone is a literal joke—in the best way possible. On day one alone (while the phone was still indexing and setting up accounts), I hit an unbelievable 8 hours and 31 minutes of Screen-On Time (SOT), and I still had 26% battery remaining! The system estimated another 9 hours of standby on Balanced Mode. The overnight idle drain is practically flat. You can easily clear a 24-hour cycle and push past 10+ hours of heavy SOT before needing a plug. ⚡ Charging: The Return of True Fast Charging Having to charge my previous 5000 mAh phone twice every 36 hours was becoming a chore. Getting back to the legendary high-speed SUPERVOOC charging ecosystem feels incredibly liberating. Top-ups are ridiculously quick, giving you absolute peace of mind without having to constantly hunt for a wall socket. 📱 Software & Convenience Features Coming back to OxygenOS feels highly optimized. Little daily conveniences work perfectly here. For instance, taking a scrolling screenshot happens smoothly in a single action, unlike other custom UIs that clunkily force you to take multiple manual captures just to stitch an image together. The system launcher and background management are fluid and snappy out of the box. 📦 Storage Efficiency (8GB/128GB Variant) While I am stepping down to 128 GB after using 256 GB phones for a few years, managing it is completely effortless if you manage your data dynamically. With streaming being so seamless and offloading data to a laptop being a breeze, 128 GB is more than enough for current essential usage and apps, especially if you aren’t heavily into hoarding photography. Final Verdict: If you value raw battery longevity, minimal idle drain, lightning-fast charging speeds, and a reliable, snappy daily user experience, the OnePlus Nord CE6 is an absolute home run. Highly recommended! Shall update after a month with a more specific review.

Good phone overall

This phone has a great battery life.... Like played game for 2.5 hrs only 6% reduced from 36% to 30%. Speakers are too good sound is very crisp and clear, every evening I love to enjoy music on this phone speakers. This phone doesn't have 3.5 mm audio jack. Had more expectations with Camera photo quality is good... But Could have been better as zoom is only 10x. No wide angle photography supported.Display quality is also good not causing much strain on eyes.hence giving it 4 star.

Read this before buying it

I’ve been using the OnePlus Nord CE6 as a heavy user, and honestly, this phone has impressed me a lot in daily usage. The UI is super smooth, clean, and optimized really well. Everything feels fast and fluid. The BGMI experience is very, very impressive. Initially, I faced some issues, but after turning OFF the Touch Reflex Chip option, the gameplay became much smoother and responsive. I play BGMI around 2 hours daily, and the performance is excellent for long gaming sessions. Battery backup is also good enough for heavy usage. However, one complaint I have is the charging time. It takes around 1 hour 15–20 minutes to fully charge, which feels a bit high compared to expectations. Talking about the camera, it surprised me a lot. My previous phone was the Realme GT 6T, and honestly, I found the camera quality on this phone better in many situations. There are some small cons too. For example, WhatsApp filters are currently not working properly, but I think OnePlus will fix this in future updates. Please don’t get influenced by negative comments saying this phone is not up to the mark. For day-to-day life, gaming, multitasking, and overall usage, this phone is really good. I’m a software engineer and a heavy user, and I’m fully impressed with this device.

Best Android phone!!!

Oneplus is a established brand. I bought this for my wife, but after looking in this mobile, I also bought this for myself. Pros-: 1. Smooth functioning 2. Fast and feelgood UI 3. Long-lasting battery 4. Fast charging with 80w power adapter 5. Good photos from front and rear camera plus AI photo quality enhancing. Cons-: Not noticed any.

Mobile feels premium and working fine. Battery usage is very good , charging also very fast 5 rating for battery. 1 less rating because of camera , after update photos become blurr, worst camera. If you are looking for camera then don't buy this one. Except camera this is perfect for daily use.

Extremely disappointing – One of the worst OnePlus phones I have used in 10 years

I have been a OnePlus user for nearly 10 years, and OnePlus has always been one of the brands I trusted for a smooth, reliable and hassle-free smartphone experience. I have used and recommended OnePlus phones for years. Unfortunately, the OnePlus Nord CE6 5G (8GB RAM + 256GB, Fresh Blue) has been a completely different experience. This is honestly one of the most disappointing OnePlus phones I have ever purchased, and for the first time in nearly a decade, this phone has made me seriously reconsider buying a OnePlus device again. 1. Heating issue during normal usage The phone gets noticeably warm during regular usage. I am not talking about heavy gaming or extreme workloads. The heating happens during normal day-to-day activities, which is disappointing for a phone with a modern chipset and a large battery. A smartphone at this price should be able to handle basic tasks without becoming noticeably warm. 2. Phone suddenly hangs while using it The most frustrating issue is that the phone suddenly becomes unresponsive/hangs while I am using it. At times, the phone simply does not respond properly, and I have to wait for it to recover. This is extremely irritating when you are doing something important. With 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, I expected smooth multitasking and reliable performance. Instead, I am experiencing random freezes and interruptions during normal usage. 3. Fingerprint authentication fails during payment This is one of my biggest concerns. While trying to make payments through payment gateways/apps, the fingerprint authentication does not work properly. The fingerprint lock/authentication sometimes fails when I actually need it. This is not a minor inconvenience. Today, smartphones are used for UPI payments, banking, online shopping and other financial transactions. If biometric authentication does not work reliably during a payment, it becomes a serious usability and trust issue. The fingerprint sensor may work in some normal unlocking situations, but my experience during payment authentication has been disappointing. 4. Frequent app crashes Another major problem is frequent application crashes and unexpected app behaviour. The issue is not limited to one particular application. For example, while using Google Maps, I have experienced situations where the application does not work as expected. Maps is one of the most basic and commonly used applications on a smartphone, so having problems while using it is extremely frustrating. I have also experienced apps becoming unresponsive or closing unexpectedly. 5. Not the OnePlus experience I expected What makes this even more disappointing is the fact that I am a long-time OnePlus customer. I bought this phone expecting the same smooth OxygenOS experience and reliability that I have associated with OnePlus for years. Instead, I am facing: - ❌ Heating during normal usage - ❌ Random hanging/freezing - ❌ Frequent app crashes - ❌ Google Maps not working as expected - ❌ Fingerprint authentication issues during payments - ❌ Overall unreliable day-to-day experience These are not features I am complaining about. These are basic smartphone functions that I expect to work properly. My message to OnePlus I genuinely hope OnePlus takes feedback like this seriously. I have been loyal to the brand for almost a decade, and I have recommended OnePlus phones to friends and family because of my previous experiences. But the Nord CE6 has changed my perception of the brand. I understand that every individual device can potentially have a manufacturing defect or software issue. However, as a customer, I should not have to deal with freezing, application crashes, heating and payment authentication problems on a new smartphone. I would strongly recommend OnePlus investigate these issues through software updates and, where necessary, provide proper service/support for affected customers. Final verdict I would not recommend the OnePlus Nord CE6 based on my personal experience. The specifications on paper may look impressive, but specifications are meaningless if the phone cannot provide a stable and reliable everyday experience. For a long-time OnePlus customer like me, this is particularly disappointing. I am giving 2 stars only because there are some good aspects of the phone, but the basic reliability issues I am experiencing significantly affect my overall experience. OnePlus, after almost 10 years of being your customer, this is the first phone that has made me question whether I should buy OnePlus again.
