OnePlus has started teasing a new Ace series smartphone for China, and the device is reportedly expected to launch as the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra. The teaser was shared by OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis on X and also appeared on the company’s official Weibo page with the phrase “OnePlus Ace New Product Month officially begins,” suggesting a launch later this month. The company has not confirmed the phone’s name, specifications, features or exact launch date.

The rumoured OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra was also spotted on a certification database in China, and recent reports say it may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The device is further said to include a flat display with a 165Hz refresh rate, an 8,000mAh battery and 100W wired fast charging. None of these details have been officially confirmed by OnePlus.

Certification Reports and Early Spec Details

OnePlus first launched the Ace 6 in China in October last year as a mid-range offering, before expanding the lineup with the OnePlus Ace 6T in December 2025. Now the company has moved to a new teaser, but it has kept the new model under wraps. The teaser gives no clear technical details and does not show the handset itself.

According to recent reporting, the purported OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra was spotted on the MIIT certification database in China, which has led to expectations that the phone could arrive in the country in April. The same reports say the handset may carry MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on a 3nm process. The device is also said to support 100W wired charging and a battery capacity that could reach 8,000mAh.

OnePlus has not said whether the new model will carry the Ace 6 Ultra name or follow a different branding path. The company has also not revealed whether the phone will remain limited to China or if any later rollout is planned elsewhere.

Ace 6 Lineup Context

The current flagship in the series is the OnePlus Ace 6, launched in China in October 2025 at a starting price of CNY 2,599 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. That model uses an octa core Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and includes a 7,800mAh battery. The Ace 6T joined the series in December 2025, widening the lineup before this latest teaser appeared.

For now, the new Ace phone remains in teaser stage, with OnePlus saying little beyond the fact that a new product month has started. More details are expected in the coming weeks, but the company has not provided a release date or specification sheet yet.
