Realme 16 5G Teased in India With 7000mAh Battery and Rear Mirror Design
Realme 16 5G Teased on Flipkart Microsite
Realme 16 5G Teased in India With 7000mAh Battery, with a dedicated Flipkart microsite now showing more of the phone’s design and key specifications. The handset is confirmed to pack a 7,000mAh battery, support 60W wired fast charging, and come with Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0.
The company has also shown the phone in Air Black and Air White colourways. Realme says the device will feature a 6.57-inch display, IP69 rating, and a dual rear camera unit placed inside a pill-shaped module.
Realme 16 5G Design and Battery Details
Realme says the Realme 16 5G uses an “AirCraft Structure” with tighter internal component stacking and high-density silicon-carbon battery cells. The company says this has helped it keep the phone 8.1mm thick while weighing 183g, even with the large battery inside.
The brand is also moving to a “Gleaming Wings” design language and has added a physical mirror element on the rear, described in the teaser as a rear selfie mirror. The microsite update comes after the phone was earlier teased online, with Realme now revealing more of the specifications ahead of launch.
Realme 16 5G Specs, Charging and Software
The battery is claimed to deliver about 21.67 hours of chatting on WhatsApp, about 22.86 hours of scrolling Reels on Instagram, up to 22.06 hours of YouTube video playback, or about six days of music playback on one charge. Realme also says the battery should remain usable even after 1,600 charge cycles or six years of use.
The phone will run Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0. The company says it will get three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates. It also supports AI Smart Charging and AI Smart Power Saving mode.
