Realme 16x 5G leak reveals variants ahead of India launch now
Realme 16x 5G leak points to new India launch
Realme 16x 5G is tipped to launch in India soon, with the model number RMX5270 surfacing in a leak. Tipster Abhishek Yadav said the phone may come in Endurance Brown and Glory White, with storage options going up to 256GB.
The leak also suggests a starting 4GB RAM variant, but there is no official word on pricing or a launch date. The 16x would join the Realme 16 series, after the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G, Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 5G.
Realme 16x 5G storage variants and colours
According to the leak, the Realme 16x 5G could be offered in 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB and 6GB + 256GB variants. The expected colour options are Endurance Brown and Glory White. Realme has not confirmed the device yet.
What the leak suggests so far
- Model number RMX5270
- Expected colours: Endurance Brown, Glory White
- Possible storage variants: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, 6GB + 256GB
- No confirmed pricing
- No confirmed launch date
The Realme 16x 5G is expected to succeed the Realme 15x 5G, which launched in October 2025 at Rs 16,999. The 15x had a 6.8-inch display, up to 144Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 6300 chip, 50MP camera and a 7,000mAh battery with 60W charging. The 16x is likely to sit below the Realme 16 5G, which uses a Dimensity 6400 Turbo chip. That points to a lower-tier processor and a similar focus on battery, display and pricing.
For now, the leak is the only new detail around the Realme 16x 5G. The 4GB RAM option suggests Realme may be targeting the Rs 15,000 to Rs 18,000 range again, though that is not confirmed. The segment is already crowded with models such as the iQOO Z11x, POCO M8 and Lava Blaze Duo 3. The final spec sheet, if and when it appears, will decide how the phone fits into Realme’s 16-series lineup.
Realme has already released the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G, Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 5G, with the last one arriving in India in April. The addition of the 16x 5G would extend the family further, but the company has not made any announcement yet. Until that happens, the RMX5270 leak and the listed variants remain the only concrete details in circulation.
The current information leaves several gaps. There is no clarity on the chipset, charging speed, camera setup or display size for the Realme 16x 5G. The leak does, however, indicate that Realme is preparing another 16-series model for the Indian market, and the device may not be far from launch if the report is accurate.
