Realme P4 Power Tested as iPhone Power Bank

Realme P4 Power tested as iPhone power bank

JhatpatLo reports on the Realme P4 Power, unveiled earlier this week with a 10,001mAh battery. Realme markets the device as 43 percent thinner at 9.08 mm and 14 percent lighter at 219 g when compared with a typical 10,000mAh power bank. The piece tests whether the device can function as a reverse power bank for an iPhone.

Test setup

A fully charged Realme P4 Power was paired with a nearly-dead iPhone 17 Pro at 7% battery. A USB C to C cable linked the devices and a meter tracked charge speed in real time. At the start, the Realme was delivering 22W to the iPhone, and it was noted that maximum reverse charging speeds require the P4 Power screen to be off to conserve its own power.

Test results

Ten minutes in, the charge speed fell to 19W. The iPhone reached 23% while the Realme P4 Power held 94%.

Thirty minutes in, the charge speed tapered to 11W. The iPhone was at 48% and the Realme P4 Power was at 80%. The report notes this as a likely real-world scenario for topping up a friend’s phone for 10–30 minutes.
