boAt Rockerz 421 Headphone Price Comparison & History in India
Wait for a Better Price on These Headphones
At ₹1,399 on Amazon, this headphone is sitting above its usual buying range.
Prices moved often between sale and regular levels during 346 tracked days. The average is ₹1,277, so today's price sits about nine percent higher. That makes this a weak entry point for the boAt Rockerz Black Sabre.
It has reached ₹1,099 several times, including during the latest three-month window. The pattern is clear: Amazon prices can fall quickly, even after climbing to recent highs. Casual shoppers may miss how frequently this model returns to sale pricing.
Recent movement has been jumpy, with the headphone reaching its highest recorded level twice. Waiting should be easy if you don't need headphones immediately. Watch for a drop closer to its low, especially during major Amazon sale periods.
This model doesn't offer enough value today. Warranty and comfort matter, but neither changes this price verdict. The boAt Rockerz Black Sabre is still a decent budget option at the right price.
- Folds down for easier bag storage
- Buttons control calls and music directly
- Works with phones, tablets and laptops
- No water resistance for outdoor use
- No 3.5 mm wired connection
boAt Rockerz 421 Headphone Features & Overview
Usage
The boAt Rockerz Black Sabre over ear headphones are built for everyday listening and travel. They pair via Bluetooth 5.4 with devices and stay connected up to about 10 metres. A simple press on the earcup Push Button handles play, pause and calls, and you can also use Voice commands when you want to keep your hands free. Boat Rockerz 421 Headphone ideal for long study sessions with long battery life. The ENx mic helps keep conversations clear in busy spaces like trains or cafes. You notice a subtle quieting of background noise when ENx is active, and the cups rest comfortably with Faux Leather and Foam padding around your ears.Capacity
With a full charge you can expect up to 40 Hours of playback. A quick 2 hour recharge keeps you going through longer days. The headphones cover a wide sound range from 20 Hz to 20000 Hz through a 40 mm dynamic driver, delivering bass without burying dialogue. The impedance is 32 Ohm, so they are easy to drive from a phone or laptop. In the box you get Cable, Headphones, and a User Manual.Controls
Everything you need sits on the earcup, and the Push Button feels reassuring with a distinct, deliberate click. The Voice option provides a hands free way to issue commands when you are multitasking.Durability

boAt Rockerz 421 Headphone FAQs
Active noise cancellation is included, and it helps reduce steady background sounds around you. It suits office noise, fans, and general travel use better than completely open headphones. Loud voices nearby will still come through.
The 40 mm drivers give bass a clear push without drowning out voices. Podcasts and calls sound easy to follow, while regular music stays pleasant at normal volume. Heavy bass tracks don't deliver a theatre-like punch.
Battery life is easily one of the strongest parts here. The claimed 40 hours can cover long study sessions and several days of casual listening. You won't need to keep the charging cable nearby every day.
A full recharge takes around two hours. That is reasonable for a headset giving up to 40 hours of playback. Charge it during a short break and it is ready for the next long session.
The foam cushions feel soft, and the 200 gram weight keeps the headset fairly light. Several hours of studying feels comfortable for most people. One long-use complaint was ear pain after about an hour.
The build is the weak point here. Cracks have appeared on the headband, and one damaged unit became loose even with careful handling. The cushions feel nicer than the plastic frame holds up.
JBL Tune 760NC feels like the safer pick for overall finish and noise control. Rockerz 421 wins on its lighter 200 gram body and long battery. Pick the boAt if charging less often matters more than refined sound.
Sony WH-CH520 is lighter and easier to wear for long stretches. Rockerz 421 gives fuller bass, ear-covering cushions, and much stronger stated playtime. The Sony feels better for minimal daily listening, while these suit longer sessions.
Rockerz 421 has a low-latency mode rated around 40 ms, so game audio stays closer to the action. OnePlus Nord Buds are smaller and easier to carry around. The boAt feels better for people who prefer over-ear comfort during gaming.
BEAST Mode brings latency down to about 40 ms. Game sounds and video dialogue feel more closely matched instead of arriving noticeably late. It is useful for casual mobile gaming and streaming.
The ENx microphone helps keep calls clearer around regular background noise. Call performance is fine in quieter rooms and during casual outdoor use. The microphone can sometimes send a very low voice level to the other person.
The sound is bass-forward, and some tracks can push the middle frequencies into a muddy area. Voices remain clear enough for podcasts, but layered music may lose separation. A phone or computer equaliser helps bring the mids forward.
Bluetooth 5.4 gives the headset a wireless range of up to 10 metres. It pairs quickly with phones, laptops, and tablets. Normal room-to-room use works well when the source device stays within that range.
The earcups fold inward, so the headset takes less space inside a backpack. At 200 grams, it is not a heavy thing to carry around. There is no wired backup when the battery is empty.
The battery rating is high enough that sudden daily drain should not be a regular issue. Long calls and BEAST Mode will use more power than casual playback. Still, the headset gives enough total playtime for several long sessions.
The faux leather cushions feel soft when you first put them on. During long use, the closed earcups can start feeling warm, especially in a non-air-conditioned room. Short breaks help when studying for many hours.

Very good for normal phone and laptop blue tooth connections. Mic is good too and overall performance is great. Battery lasts for several days. Audio clarity is good.
Cracks appeared in headband even after great care!
BAD EXPERIENCE!! (⭐⭐☆☆☆) I should say think thrice before buying boat budget headphones. First, I searched few more headphones of the same and different companies and came up to this product at last, because it looked promising on real world not only on papers. But things turned out differently. I bought this at 1299 INR. 1. BUILD QUALITY: Terrible!!!!! Being an audiophile, buying such product demanded a lot of research and effort, but trusting brand and overseeing those build quality issues was my huge mistake!! HOW WILL I ENJOY THIS HEADPHONE's SOUND, when there is BAD BUILD QUALITY. Let me be truthful, I am a product savvy person, I took care of this headphone a lot, and use to keep it at safe place, and use it very firmly, STILL I AM SEEING THE PRODUCT IS BUIDLDING UP CRACKS AT MULTIPLE POINTS on HEADBAND and is now VERY LOOSY !! 2. AFTERSALES & SERVICE: for that problem I contacted them through phone, they said "please do it from online portal, because, from our side it will take you a month". I said OK, I contacted through email: They reply, but after every 1-2 days. After 15 days and 7 emails, finally a person came up to pick, it got checked at center, and rejected, bcz it was having cracks, that's it, so you should know that customers have to face this quality issue. After checks, they've sent the headphones even more cracked than before. 3. SOUND Quality: It has a good sound quality according to this budget that others. But produces muddy sound, I mean the mids are bad, so for this I tuned up through my Windows Audio Driver and on my Smartphone to with an Equalizer. The Highs and Lows and Surround sound were nice I should say. But with those mid frequencies you will get irritated very quickly, it happens mostly on BOAT headphones, I don't know why that muddiness comes?? It says Signature sound but please remove that signature thing, at least on low end headphones. 4. Connectivity: Far Good! 5. Comfort: I have neither big nor small ears, but still it causes pain when I use it for more than an hour. But comfort is OKAYISH. 6. Mic: Noise cancellation is good for this range. Call quality and gaming is very much fine. 7. Beast Mode: Working. 8. Design: Just NICE!!
Value for money product

Good bass sound and quality only issue is that the cotton lost its firmness after couple months of use.
