GoBoult Mustang Thunder Headphone Price Comparison & History in India
Fair Price, But Better Deals Have Come
At ₹2,999 on both Amazon and Flipkart, this Airbass headphone is currently only a fair buy.
Prices have been tracked for 202 days, across both major shopping platforms. The average sits around ₹2,874, putting today’s price roughly 4.4% higher. That keeps it close to normal pricing, but not close to its best recorded deal.
Airbass Wireless Over Ear Headphones reached its all-time low of ₹2,748. That low was recorded on both Amazon and Flipkart during December. Prices have repeatedly moved between lower and higher points over recent months.
The current price is also above the lowest level seen during the latest three-month stretch. So, there’s no strong reason to rush unless you need headphones immediately. The 70-hour battery is the main attraction for long commutes and frequent travel. Its 40mm drivers should suit casual music, videos, and calls.
One detail casual shoppers may miss is the identical price across both platforms. That means platform choice won’t save money right now. Airbass remains reasonable, but today’s listing doesn’t offer meaningful savings.

Usage: These headphones are built for long, immersive sessions. You will notice up to 70 Hours of playback from a single charge, which means you won’t plan for daily recharges on trips or daily commutes. Boult Mustang Thunder Headphone AI-evaluated 83/100 for premium sound and battery life. The wireless link feels dependable with Bluetooth 5.4 and a 10 Metres range, so you can pace around the room without losing the signal. If you want to push a cable in, the 3.5 mm Jack and included Cable let you go wired when needed. The 40 Millimetres dynamic drivers deliver that familiar bass punch while keeping the mids clear for voices.
Capacity & Controls: The weight is easy on the head at 234 g, and the clamp is forgiving, which helps during long listening. The headphones support Active Noise Cancellation for quieter flights or busy offices, and you manage playback with the Button Control on the ear cup. If you use Google Assistant, the built in controller supports voice commands through the Google Assistant integration.

GoBoult Mustang Thunder Headphone FAQs
ANC cuts steady sounds like ceiling fans, distant traffic, and office noise quite well. It helps during travel and study sessions, especially with music playing. Nearby conversations and sudden loud sounds still come through.
The 40 mm drivers give the sound a heavy, punchy bass push. Pop, EDM, movies, and gaming sound energetic, while vocals stay clear at normal volume. Bass can overpower finer highs in some tracks, especially on the stronger bass setting.
Calls are fine indoors and in quieter places. The built-in mic sounds average outside, with traffic and wind affecting voice clarity. ENC helps a little, but it isn't the main strength here.
Battery is one of the biggest strengths here. The claimed 70 hours can cover several days of music, meetings, movies, and gaming before charging. That long backup is useful for travel because the case isn't part of the charging setup.
Ten minutes of charging gives around 100 minutes of playback. That is enough for a commute or a few work sessions in a hurry. Full charging happens through the Type-C port.
The soft over-ear cushions feel comfortable during long movie sessions. The 234 gram frame is light enough for extended listening without much fatigue. The fit can feel tight at first, then settles after a few days.
The frame feels sturdy when new and handles regular travel without trouble. The rotating joints and adjustment mechanism can loosen after months of rough handling. Synthetic leather on the earcups may also start peeling with heavy long-term use.
Bluetooth works across roughly 10 metres in open spaces. Pairing is quick, and the connection stays steady around a room or desk. Thick walls and crowded wireless areas can shorten that distance.
Airbass gives you longer battery life and active noise cancellation for journeys. Rockerz 650 is easier to pick if you prefer a lighter, simpler headset. These are better for people who want bass and a wired backup.
Airbass has the more energetic low-end sound for bass-heavy tracks. JBL Tune 760NC feels more balanced with vocals and higher notes. Pick Airbass for movies and EDM, not detailed listening.
Airbass gives you over-ear comfort, ANC, and much longer battery backup. Sony WH-CH520 is lighter and easier to carry around all day. Airbass makes more sense for travel and movies, while Sony suits simple daily listening.
The 60ms mode reduces the audio delay during casual mobile games. Directional sounds and dialogue feel better timed than in normal mode. It works well for everyday gaming, especially when you don't want a wired connection.
Yes, the included 3.5 mm cable gives you a wired backup. The headphones need to be switched off for AUX mode to work properly. Once connected, the buttons and wireless features stop working like a normal wired headset.
The tactile buttons are easy to find without looking at the headphones. Volume changes are straightforward, and accidental taps are not an issue. The power button can become stiff or press too deeply after a few months.
The IPX5 rating protects against sweat and light water splashes. The over-ear design stays comfortable during moderate workouts and walking. Heavy rain or soaking is not what these headphones are built for.
The supplied ear cushions aren't designed as an easy replacement part. Synthetic leather can peel after months of regular use, especially without cleaning. Keeping the cushions dry and wiping them regularly slows down that wear.
Real & Verified Reviews of GoBoult Mustang Thunder Headphone
Highly recommended this ANC head phone!
I recently bought the newly launched Boult Anchor headphones, and I am honestly impressed by the quality you get for this price. Here is my experience after using them for a few days: Battery Life: This is the star feature. The 72-hour playtime is not a joke. I have been using them heavily for meetings, music, and gaming for last few days straight, and I still haven't had to charge them yet. The Type-C fast charging is a lifesaver when you are in a rush. Sound Quality: If you like bass, you will love these. The 40mm drivers deliver a very punchy and deep bass that makes listening to pop and EDM tracks really enjoyable. The vocals are clear, and it doesn't sound muddy. Active Noise Cancellation: The ANC works surprisingly well for this segment. It easily cuts out the sound of the ceiling fan and distant traffic. It definitely helps you focus better when working or studying. Comfort & Build: The ear cups are soft and fit comfortably over the ears without applying too much pressure. I wore them for a 2-hour movie and didn't feel any fatigue. The build feels sturdy yet lightweight. Connectivity: Pairing is instant. I also appreciate the AUX option—it's great to have a backup in case you ever run out of battery or want to connect to a PC without Bluetooth Touch control like the use Buttons and Volume control are great option in this headphone. The range are also great.
After one year of use. Must read before buy🫠
Bolt Audio Q Mustang — One Year Later I’ve been wanting to write this review for a long time, and now that it’s been one full year since I bought the Bolt Audio Q Mustang, I think it’s finally time. I purchased these from Amazon for around ₹2,500, and after using them for an entire year—at home, while travelling, at the gym, and basically everywhere—I can finally tell you whether I regret buying them. 📦 First Impressions & Build Quality The first thing that surprised me was the box. It came in such a small package that I literally thought, “Wait… this is a ₹2,500 headphone?” But then I realized the headphones were folded in half and packed inside. Once I took them out, the build actually felt pretty decent for the price. The rotating parts around the earcups felt solid when they were new, and the headband extension mechanism also felt good initially. But I have to be honest—I used these pretty roughly. I wasn't carefully placing them back in a case every time. I kept taking them from the table, throwing them into my bag, travelling with them, taking them to the gym, and using them pretty much everywhere. After around five or six months, I started noticing some wear in the moving parts. Nothing immediately broke(still everything is intact), but they definitely didn't feel as tight and solid as they did when they were new. And then there's the earcup padding. I forgot to clean and sanitize the earcups properly for quite a while, and eventually the leather-like material started peeling. Honestly, this isn't something unique to this headphone. Even much more expensive headphones with synthetic leather padding eventually suffer from peeling. In my case, it became noticeable after roughly nine months. 🎧 Sound Quality Now let's get to the important part—the sound. The Boult Audio Q Mustang has four EQ modes: - Full Bass - Rock - Pop - Vocal The Vocal mode wasn't really my thing. I didn't find it particularly impressive. The other three modes are reasonably well matched to what their names suggest. But my personal favourite is definitely Full Bass mode. If you're a bass lover, you're going to get that BOOM BOOM feeling. Is the bass extremely clean and detailed? No. Sometimes it can feel a little muddy, and I wouldn't call it audiophile-level bass. But it's enjoyable. Because these are over-ear headphones, the earcups completely surround your ears, and when the bass hits, you can actually feel it. And that's probably the biggest reason I enjoyed using them. Interestingly, just last month I opened up the earcup out of curiosity and found a proper 40 mm driver inside. Looking at the driver physically was actually pretty cool—it genuinely looks like a tiny speaker sitting inside the headphone. 📶 Connectivity Connectivity has been pretty trouble-free for me. Bluetooth pairing has been reliable, and I haven't really experienced any major connection issues during the year. There's also an AUX port, which is a nice option to have. And there's a gaming mode as well. The gaming mode does reduce the latency, and for casual gaming I wouldn't say the delay is particularly noticeable. But yes—there is still some latency. That's something you should expect with Bluetooth headphones. No matter what gaming mode a manufacturer provides, Bluetooth isn't going to behave exactly like a wired connection. 🔊 What I Think Could Be Better This is where I have one major request for the Bolt Audio team. Please work on the highs and vocals. The bass is clearly the main focus of these headphones, but sometimes it feels like the lows overpower everything else. In certain songs, especially ones where vocals and high-frequency details are important, I sometimes find myself hearing mostly the bass while the vocals and higher frequencies don't come through as clearly as I'd like. I would personally prefer a little more balance. Give us that satisfying bass, but don't sacrifice the mids and highs to achieve it. ⭐ One Year Later — Do I Regret Buying Them? No. After one full year, I don't regret spending around ₹2,500 on these headphones. They survived travelling, gym sessions, rough handling, daily use, and everything else I threw at them. They're definitely not perfect. The build has shown some wear, the earcup material started peeling, and the sound can get bass-heavy enough to overpower vocals and highs. But for what I paid for them, I still think they were a pretty decent buy. If you're someone who enjoys a lot of bass and wants an affordable over-ear headphone with Bluetooth, AUX, multiple EQ modes, and gaming mode, the Q Mustang is worth considering. And to the Bolt Audio team: keep the bass, but please give us better highs and vocals in the next generation. That's my one-year experience with the Bolt Audio Q Mustang. Four stars only for the fact I'm not satisfied with the mids and highs.

Worst Build quality. Worst customer service.
Writing this review after 3 months used. Initially I felt the good comfort usage. I am not using it continuously, just used it for 2 hours per day approx. After these 3 months the power on/off button was little deeper. It doesn't have good spring mechanism. So it got repeatedly power on and off whenever I am pressing it for connection. I felt discomfort on using this product. So I booked a service request to get this headphone repaired. Note - They don't have service centers even in chennai kind of metro city. So They picked my product on Aug 15 through courier service but there was no update even after 2 weeks. I tried reaching their customer service through call and whatsapp (which they mentioned in their official site). Call - the number is switched off. I couldn't reach them at anytime Whatsapp - They are really irresponsible. So I got frustrated again!! Finally I put the strong mail to their official mail. And finally I got the update that it has reached the service center. It has been already 2weeks. Still I have to wait until I get the item back. Not sure how the service would be. I will wait and give the review again back.

I really appreciate tha quality.Abd also sound quality is tooo good 😊.
Not worthy
Not value for money and music bass also not as good. Left side volume high as compared to right side.
Good at budget
Sound quality is good, but in the long run of keeping the headset to head makes pain for ears. Apart from that, in that budget I can suggest it's good choice. The branding of mustang is awesome. Handle with care because it was plastic material not so good. Not suitable for long gamers
