Portronics Conch Theta C Wired Earphone Price Comparison & History in India
Buy Now? This Earphone Deal Is Fair, Not Special
At ₹322 on Amazon, this is a fair price, but not a standout deal.
The Conch Theta C POR 2148 has averaged about ₹327 across 346 tracked days. That puts today's price only slightly below its typical level. Its lowest recorded price was ₹249 on Amazon. The price has moved around often, with Amazon usually offering the cleaner deal. Flipkart has frequently been higher, so checking both stores still matters.
One easy detail is the changing seller price, despite the same product listing. Recently, the Conch Theta C POR 2148 fell below today's level, then climbed again. That recent low was better than today's offer, though the gap isn't huge. This model uses a Type C connector and suits phones without a headphone socket. Expect basic wired-earphone value, not premium sound or wireless convenience.
At this price, you're paying slightly more than the recent bargain window. Still, it's nowhere near the worst level seen during tracking. If you need it today, Amazon is the sensible place to buy. If not, waiting for another drop makes sense, especially during sale periods. Keep an alert set, because this product has already returned to lower pricing.

- Anti-tangle cable stays manageable in pockets

Portronics Conch Theta C Wired Earphone FAQs
The 14.2mm drivers produce loud, clear audio with lively mids and highs. Vocals and lyrics stay easy to follow in songs, movies, and podcasts. Bass is present, but it won't satisfy someone looking for a heavy thump.
No charging is needed because these are wired earphones. Plug them into a compatible Type-C port and start listening immediately. They're useful for long sessions when you don't want battery warnings or pairing steps.
The light in-ear design stays comfortable during long listening sessions. Rounded tips sit gently without adding much weight to the ears. The fit can feel loose if your ears don't suit this shape.
The TPE cable feels manageable for regular phone and laptop use. Its anti-tangle design helps when you pull it out of a pocket or bag. The build is decent, but rough handling can shorten its life.
Conch Theta C is the better pick for phones with a Type-C port. boAt BassHeads 100 uses the older 3.5mm connection, so it suits devices with that socket. These have clear vocals and lively sound, while bass stays moderate.
The main difference is the connector, with Conch Theta C using Type-C and realme Buds 2 using 3.5mm. These skip wireless pairing and charging completely. Pick Conch Theta C when your phone has Type-C but no headphone socket.
Conch Theta C works directly with Type-C devices, while JBL C150SI needs a 3.5mm headphone port. The Portronics pair is easier with newer phones that have dropped that socket. Its sound suits calls, podcasts, and everyday music well.
The microphone works well for normal indoor calls and short conversations. Voice sounds clear when the cable is positioned close to the mouth. Long-term use can bring crackling or distortion during calls.
It won't work with every Samsung phone despite using a Type-C plug. Some Samsung models, including the S20 FE, may not recognise these earphones properly. Check whether the phone supports wired audio through its USB-C port before buying.
The Type-C connector can feel tight when first inserted. Once connected, it stays in place during normal phone use. Pull it out by the plug instead of yanking the cable.
Game audio is loud enough for BGMI and similar mobile games. Footsteps and basic sound cues come through clearly at moderate volume. It works well for casual gaming, though the overall gaming experience stays average.
The microphone can develop crackling or distorted voice output after extended use. Music playback may still sound clear even when call audio starts having trouble. This is the main long-term complaint with the earphones.
The rounded earbuds feel light and comfortable for many listeners. They don't seal the ear like silicone-tip earphones, so outside sound remains more noticeable. Movement can loosen the fit if the ear shape doesn't hold them firmly.

Good Sound Quality
Superb sound quality. Good soundstage, clarity. After EQ bass can be improved. Wire quality is cheap need to improve. Overall value for money
Affordable and good quality
Honestly, I’m so impressed with these earphones! First of all, they look SO pretty and have this very Y2K, early-2000s vibe which I absolutely love. They genuinely feel like they brought back the last decade in the cutest way….But the best part is definitely the sound quality. I’m using them with my iPhone and the sound is surprisingly crisp and clear for the price. The bass is really good without sounding too heavy, and you can actually distinguish between different instruments and sounds in every song. Everything feels quite balanced and immersive…I showed them to my mom and my boyfriend and they both loved them so much that now they want a pair too 😂. For something this affordable, I honestly wasn’t expecting such good quality. If you’re looking for cute, affordable earphones that actually sound great, I’d definitely recommend buying these!

Absolute value for money
I used it for one year, it always had one issue that the mic never worked with my phone but worked with other devices, still I didn’t replace it even when I had the option cause, it worked so good except that particular minor issue, I used it through out the year but today, right side speaker stopped working suddenly. Volume is good, clear. Length of the cable is sufficient.
Good product
Nice product in the price range... Sound is crystal clear and good.. All the bass treble are clearly audible in any song
Small ear bud
Sound quality is ok according to the price range but only complain is that the bud that goes in to the ear are really small , it falls out when we use it during walking or another small activity
Fit
The sound quality is great for the price and the cable length is sufficient, but the fit is uncomfortable because the earpieces are a bit too large (for me) and begin to hurt during long listening sessions
