Realme 16 Pro+ 12/256 GB Outstanding 144Hz AMOLED Display with 7000mAh Battery Specs

For the price, you're getting a spectacular display, a battery that lasts two days on moderate use, and a camera setup that's tough to match here. Performance is mid-range, not flagship — just know that going in. Screen and battery people will love it. Need more than 256GB? You'll have to look elsewhere.

The screen is the star. Vibrant, sharp, and 144Hz makes everything feel buttery — scrolling, fast-paced games, all of it. Colors pop, outdoor visibility is decent though not best-in-class. Easily one of the best displays you'll find at this price. If you're a display snob, this alone might close the deal.

The battery delivers. Heavy use — streaming, gaming, camera — still gets you through a full day. Light users can stretch to two. And 80W charging is genuinely fast; near empty to full in about 40 minutes. Battery anxiety just stops being a thing.

Most games run well. Genshin Impact and Call of Duty on high settings are playable — some frame drops here and there, nothing that breaks the experience. 12GB RAM keeps multitasking smooth. Competitive gaming at max graphics will push its limits, but for most people it's more than enough.

The setup is versatile. 200MP main captures real detail, the telephoto gets you closer without losing quality, and the 50MP front is sharp too. Low light isn't perfect, but for travel shots and social media, you'll be happy. Hardcore photographers will still want a real camera — everyone else, probably not.

More than a gimmick. IP69 handles high-pressure water jets and dust — heavy rain, accidental puddle drops, no problem. Not built for swimming, but for rough outdoor conditions it gives real peace of mind. That's a rare feature at this price.

Three years of OS updates, four years of security patches — decent, not class-leading. Android 15 runs clean out of the box, minimal bloatware, and the 144Hz display makes navigation feel fluid. No urge to flash a custom ROM. Updates aren't as frequent as some competitors, worth keeping in mind.

For most people, 256GB handles photos, videos, and apps without breaking a sweat. Heavy 4K shooters or people hoarding large games might feel the squeeze after a year or two — and there's no microSD slot to bail you out. Stream most of your content and you'll be fine. Still wish they'd included a card slot.

The leather feels premium and grips well — noticeably fewer drops than with glass backs. At 198g it's on the heavier side, but it settles in and feels solid. No fingerprint smears either, which is a small win. Prefer lighter phones? It might feel chunky. With a case, it's fine.

No NFC — a real bummer if Google Pay is part of your daily routine. No wireless charging, no 3.5mm jack either, so Bluetooth or a USB-C dongle handles audio. You get IP69 and a massive battery, but a few modern conveniences got left behind. If any of those are dealbreakers, worth checking alternatives first.

Surprisingly good. Selfies are sharp with natural colors, the screen flash helps in low light — a bit harsh but better than nothing. Video calls are clear, and the wide angle means you're not holding the phone at arm's length. Not the absolute best front camera out there, but well above average for social media.

Absolutely. IP69 handles rain, dust, and high-pressure water without flinching. The 7000mAh battery means no mid-hike panic over charge levels, the 144Hz display holds up in sunlight — not the brightest, but readable — and the vegan leather grip helps in wet conditions. Solid outdoor companion.
