Ambrane RCTT15 USB-C to USB-C 1.5m Braided Nylon Cable FAQs
Ambrane RCTT15 can deliver up to 60W through USB-C Power Delivery. It works well with phones, tablets, and compatible laptops when the charger and device also support that level. The cable itself won't increase charging speed on a lower-rated adapter.
Yes, it can handle charging for compatible USB-C laptops up to the stated 60W limit. It works better for regular notebooks and tablets than power-hungry gaming laptops. The charger still needs to support the required wattage.
The 480Mbps speed is fine for photos, documents, and a few videos. Large folders will take longer than they would with a USB 3 cable. It can transfer files while the device stays connected for charging.
The 1.5 metre length gives enough room to use a phone beside a bed, sofa, or desk. It reaches wall sockets and power strips without keeping the device right next to the adapter. The cable is still short enough to avoid a lot of loose wire.
The braided nylon covering feels sturdy and handles regular bends better than a thin rubber cable. It also stays fairly easy to manage in a bag. The weak point reported here is the wire near the connector on some units.
It works with iPads and iPhones that have a USB-C port, along with other Type-C phones and tablets. Older iPhones with a Lightning port need a different cable. The USB-C to USB-C ends suit newer Apple devices.
Samsung Super Fast Charging works on some phones, including certain M51, S24 FE, and S25 FE setups. It doesn't activate properly on every Samsung model or charger combination. A normal fast-charge mode can still work when the higher mode doesn't appear.
The cable has charging problems with some ROG Phone 3 setups. That appears to be a compatibility issue rather than a length or connector problem. It works better with several OnePlus and Samsung phones listed in the product feedback.
RCTT15 gives you 60W Power Delivery, a braided cover, and a 1.5 metre length. Anker has a wider range of USB-C cables with different charging and data ratings. Pick Ambrane when basic charging and longer reach matter more than getting the fastest data connection.
RCTT15 has a clear 60W rating and USB-C plugs on both ends. boAt sells several USB-C cables, so the exact model matters before comparing charging speed. Ambrane is the safer pick when you need one cable for a phone, tablet, and laptop.
RCTT15 supports up to 60W charging and works with compatible USB-C laptops. Portronics has both basic and higher-rated cables, so some models will match it while others won't. This one is suited to everyday laptop charging rather than high-speed data work.
Yes, a few units have stopped charging within the first month even though the braided cover looked fine. The failure can happen near the connector, where the inner wire may break without obvious outer damage. Other cables have continued working for years, including one used for around two years.
The stated warranty lasts six months from the purchase date. After that period, replacement depends on the seller or brand support route. A failed cable outside warranty usually has no repair option because the cable is sealed.
The warranty covers the cable for six months, but sending it back can involve courier charges. The reimbursement mentioned for shipping may be lower than the actual courier cost. That makes a warranty claim less useful for a low-cost cable.
Most packs contain one cable with the expected box packaging. One reported unit arrived with an opened box and looked previously used. Check the cable and packaging when it arrives before putting it into regular service.
