Redmi Watch 5 Lite Smartwatch Price Comparison & History in India
Buy now: this deal sits at its recent low
At ₹3,999 on Amazon, this is the Redmi Watch 5 Lite’s latest price. It’s above both its recorded low of ₹3,299 and average of ₹3,499. That makes this a surprisingly strong recent deal, despite being its highest recorded price. Six checks span 349 days, from July 2025 through June 2026. Prices held near the average for most of that period. Then the Redmi Watch 5 Lite reached its highest point in the latest check. Here's the catch: the recent three-month window has only one recorded price. So, this low rating reflects limited recent tracking, not a proven discount. Casual shoppers may miss its repeated returns to the lowest recorded price. Amazon was cheapest on every recorded date, so there’s no platform switch to chase. The Redmi Watch 5 Lite is a sensible buy for fitness tracking and notifications. It has a large screen, calling support, and enough features for everyday use. The price pattern is uneven, alternating between two close levels. That pattern suggests occasional reductions can return. Still, the current price leaves little room for a big saving today. Wait only if you can monitor deals regularly.

Redmi Watch 5 Lite Smartwatch Features & Overview
Usage
The Redmi Watch 5 Lite is designed for everyday fitness tracking and quick wellness checks during a busy day. With Blood Oxygen (SPO2) and Heart Rate monitoring, you get a sense of how your activity stacks up as you go about walking errands or light workouts. Redmi Watch 5 Lite Smartwatch with Camera Shutter Control for hands-free photos. The 1.96 inch display keeps data legible without pulling your attention away from the moment, and you’ll notice the interface responding to taps with a soft click as you skim through stats. If you’re out and about, the watch’s Bluetooth connection makes it easy to stay synced with your phone for notifications and routine health reads without a second thought.
Capacity
Storage and memory are modest by design: 24 MB RAM and 24 MB storage support the essentials, while the display’s brightness—listed as 6E+2 Nit—keeps icons readable in daylight. The 1.96 Inches screen provides enough real estate to view heart-rate graphs and SPO2 trends side by side, so you don’t have to squint to track progress. Battery expectations come from the standard lithium ion cell, which keeps daily use feeling routine rather than a reminder to charge constantly.
Controls
Pairing is straightforward via Bluetooth and location services via GPS, letting you map routes during walks and runs. The interface is responsive enough to navigate quickly through screens, and you’ll notice the refresh cadence during workouts remains smooth without stutter in typical use. It’s the kind of device you reach for when you don’t want to think about tech—just glance at the display and go on with your day.
Durability
The watch uses a standard 22 millimetre band width with a strap that extends to about 220 millimetres, which tends to suit a wide range of wrists. The overall build mirrors other wearables in this segment: light, unobtrusive, and comfortable for daily wear, whether you’re seated at a desk or pacing between meetings. You don’t notice it much unless you’re actively looking for it, which is exactly how a good wearable should behave.
Safety
With continuous health readings, you have a steady stream of data to inform daily choices. The measurements are there in the background, so you can focus on your activities rather than fiddling with settings. If you want extra peace of mind, you can reference the health trends over days or weeks to gauge how you’re really feeling after workouts or a long day.
Installation/Warranty
Setup is simple: power on, enable Bluetooth pairing, and sync with your phone to enable GPS-based features. Warranty terms come from the manufacturer, so you’ll have standard protection through Redmi’s channels should anything need addressing.

Redmi Watch 5 Lite Smartwatch FAQs
Call audio is clear enough for short conversations, and the microphone picks up your voice well. The speaker sits below the watch, so tight strap placement can make calls hard to hear. You can make and receive calls without taking out your phone.
Battery is one of the strongest points here. With regular tracking and notifications turned on, it can comfortably last over a week, while lighter use stretches it much further. Always-on display and frequent calls bring that number down to around five or six days.
The 29-gram body feels light enough for sleeping and daily wear. Its silicone strap is soft, though the strap feels a little narrow on some wrists. The large rectangular dial is easy to notice without feeling too heavy.
The 5ATM rating makes it suitable for swimming, rain, and everyday water exposure. Touch controls can still react accidentally when water hits the screen because there's no auto-lock feature. It works better when the screen is locked before washing hands or swimming.
Redmi Watch 5 Lite handles steps, heart rate, SpO2, and basic sleep tracking well. Amazfit gives deeper app insights, especially for sleep and breathing data. Redmi is easier to recommend when you want the main readings without a complicated interface.
Redmi Watch 5 Lite has the stronger battery and more dependable activity tracking than the boAt watches mentioned here. GPS, step counting, and notifications also feel better sorted. boAt models make more sense only if you want a cheaper, simpler watch.
Redmi Watch 5 Lite gives better battery life and cleaner tracking than the Noise watches discussed here. The interface is easy to operate, and notifications arrive quickly. Noise still has plenty of models with similar everyday basics, but Redmi feels more complete.
The 1.96-inch AMOLED screen is sharp, bright, and easy to read outdoors. Text and workout readings look clean because of the 410 x 502 resolution. There is no auto-brightness, so you have to adjust brightness yourself when lighting changes.
Step counting and heart rate readings are good for everyday tracking, while SpO2 readings are useful for quick checks. Sleep tracking works well most nights but can record awake periods as naps. The watch doesn't measure blood pressure despite the app suggesting it.
The built-in GPS can record walking and cycling routes without the phone nearby. Route tracking works nicely for many outdoor sessions, but GPS accuracy has also been inconsistent in some cases. It gives you the basic trail data without compass-style navigation.
Notifications arrive quickly for WhatsApp, text messages, alarms, and incoming calls. The companion app lets you choose which alerts reach the watch, so you don't need every phone notification on your wrist. Call alerts are especially useful when the phone is in a bag.
It pairs with Android phones and iPhones over Bluetooth without much trouble. Basic notifications and health data work well through the companion app. Google Fit syncing is missing, and sleep data doesn't move cleanly into some other fitness apps.
It is a good fit for casual running, walking, and cycling. GPS records the route, while steps, heart rate, calories, and distance cover the main workout details. Runners wanting deeper training analysis will find the app quite basic.
Yes, accidental touches are a genuine issue around water because the watch has no auto-lock mode. Rain or hand washing can open screens or change controls by mistake. Locking it manually before water exposure avoids most of the trouble.
Step totals can sometimes carry over from the previous day instead of resetting at midnight. Sleep tracking has also recorded naps while the wearer was awake and moving. The HyperOS interface feels smooth, but these small software bugs are frustrating.
Call volume can reset to the lowest level after making or receiving a call. You have to raise it manually again, and there is no permanent maximum-volume setting. That gets irritating when you use Bluetooth calling several times a day.
Real & Verified Reviews of Redmi Watch 5 Lite Smartwatch
Greatest smart watch ever
So, i want to say that it is having one of the greatest and best battery backup. Rest you can see my screenshot attached. It says all. Earlier i used many watches beatxp, noise but this is above all. I am having notifications of whatsapp, message and caller alerts on. And heart rate preset by the company no additional changes i have done, sleep monitoring working perfectly in on position. So that's all. Accuracy of step count is perfect. Notifications are quick UI is great. Compatibility is fine with both my realme phone. Touch sensitivity is great. And value for money. I have never done any review on Amazon but this is my first one and that too of a watch with insane qualities. Its 24 August and last charged 22 days ago and still left with 27 percent i think it can cross 30 day easily.
Good Looks, Solid Basics, but Alexa and GoogleFit Sync Hold It Back
The watch stands out with its attractive design and impressive display quality. GPS performance is reliable; however, it lacks navigation features, which is a noticeable drawback. Unfortunately, Alexa has not been functioning since day one. I’ve already escalated the issue with the service center and am awaiting their response. Battery backup is decent and should comfortably last through regular usage. Watch faces are good enough. Step tracking is good, and integration with third-party apps works fairly well. However, I did not find any option to sync with Google Fit. Additionally, sleep data does not sync with apps like “Sleep as Android Unlock,” which limits its usefulness for detailed sleep tracking. Overall, it is a value-for-money watch considering its price. I will provide an update once I receive a resolution regarding the Alexa issue from the service center.
Excellent product definitely recommend
Have used Fitbit versa, Samsung Active 2 earlier (both over 20k) this watch at 3.4K is a killer! Provides accurate results, doesn’t count steps when you are in your car or doesn’t have unnecessary features. The customization options on DND and flip to activate is what amazed me and even the ultra power saver mode that saves your battery like a charm. The call quality is great, and screen resolution is unmatched. The watch has an inbuilt GPS that provides you great accuracy in data, also HR monitor. The notifications provide you the option to filter using the app which ones you wish to get. Also, the strap quality is as good as my Samsung watch. What I liked the most is excellent battery backup. I have used it with all the features on, for one week with a single charge. If you put on DND and keep Bluetooth off, I’m sure 15 days it would surely last. Cons: the speaker for calling is placed below the watch that makes it inaudible if you have tied it tightly. Should have been better. The app says you may monitor your BP with the watch but watch doesn’t have such feature (may be they should remove it) Should provide a screen guard along, hard to find one in the market. It’s ok if they charge more or at least provide such option to buy along. Should have been provided an option to customise the physical button for actions. Overall, I recently used boat watches also which clearly lack in terms of accuracy and battery both. Hence this one is a clear winner. Updating this review after over a month’s extensive usage: Activity tracking: works like a charm, automatically detects your walk or cycling and notifies you, and the GPS tracker works like a charm, showing entire trail of your walk or cycling. The Hearteate monitoring accuracy is good too though it really doesn’t monitor it continuously in real time. The watch also has a flashlight mode which works really well. The app and interface is seamless so far and charge lasts over a week with always on display turned on. Never had any sort of charging anxiety as such. My wife uses a 50k worth garmin watch, and believe me it lacks some features that this watch provides. The camera feature is very useful for selfies.
Excellent Buy
I wanted a watch with AOD which I could wear while swimming. This fits the bill perfectly. Moreover, I'm pleasantly surprised with the clarity of the call quality. Even with AOD on the charge lasts for 5-6 days as I put it on ultra battery saver for the night. I love the ability to add widgets as per my choice. All in all, it is an excellent value for money watch. Redmi never disappoints.
Disappointing Experience with Several Missing Features and Bugs
1. No Auto-Lock Feature: The watch lacks an auto-lock feature, such as unlocking by holding the side button. This is problematic in situations involving water (showering, washing hands, or rain), leading to accidental touch issues. 2. Missing Auto-Brightness: At this price point, an auto-brightness feature is expected. Its absence impacts battery life, as brightness cannot adjust automatically to ambient light. 3. No Compass or Water Reminder: Basic features like a compass and water reminder are missing, which are typically standard in smartwatches at this price. 4. Inaccurate GPS: The GPS accuracy is subpar, affecting activity tracking. 5. Software Bugs: Step counter issues: After completing 3260 steps yesterday, the stats failed to reset after midnight, showing yesterday’s data incorrectly. (As you can see in the image). Sleep tracking: The watch inaccurately recorded a nap while I was awake and moving regularly. Each time you make or receive a call, the volume automatically resets to the minimum. You have to manually increase it after every call, and there is no option to permanently set it to the maximum. Additionally, Xiaomi's app only provides a basic breath quality score, whereas Amazfit offers more detailed information. In Amazfit, I found insights like how many times I experienced poor breath quality along with the specific times. Xiaomi's app needs to offer more detailed data and insights for a better user experience. 6. Google Calendar Sync Limitations: The watch only syncs events from Google Calendar but does not sync tasks, limiting its productivity functionality. Given these issues, the watch does not meet expectations at this price. The software is particularly disappointing. In comparison, Amazfit provided much more accurate tracking and better app data. I used Amazfit for 2 years, but due to a display issue, I decided to buy a new one and wanted to experience the Hyper OS ecosystem. Being a Xiaomi phone user, I expected more from their smartwatch, but the experience has been underwhelming. I hope future updates address the bugs and improve feature accuracy. In Amazfit, the Zepp OS provides additional features like app installations, which add value. However, I don't see any unique features in Xiaomi's Hyper OS. It feels as simple as what you’d find in other smartwatches in the ₹1,000-₹2,000 range like Fastrack, Fire-Bolt, Noise, Boat, or similar brands. There’s nothing special or any additional features like the ones Zepp OS offers. Xiaomi's Hyper OS seems more like hype than actual innovation. It also lacks animated watch faces, which are common in other smartwatches. They really need to improve several aspects. After 9 months of usage speaker stopped working.
Worthy watch
Amazing watch.. looks stunning.. works well.. Accurate spo2, Step tracking and Heart rate..but battery drains lil fast... Smooth UI and refresh rate overall worthy
Real review
I highly recommend this watch if you are buying it for running , it might not be top notch but it gets the world done and in this price range I don’t think there’s a better watch than this .
Great at this price....good long lasting battery ..ease of operations
Watch is good. Screen a little bit on the bigger side. Strap should be wider . Biggest drawback - no screen guard provided.
