Amazon Great Summer Sale Teases Smart TV Deals From Samsung, TCL and Xiaomi

Amazon Great Summer Sale begins later this week

Amazon Great Summer Sale is scheduled to begin later this week in India, and the company has started teasing smart TV deals from Samsung, TCL, Xiaomi and several other brands. The sale event will also cover electronics across categories, with discounts on smartphones, smart home devices, microwaves, air conditioners, true wireless stereo devices, Bluetooth speakers, laptops, washing machines and storage devices. The dedicated microsite says smart TVs and projectors will see discounts of up to 65 percent.

Amazon has confirmed one of the clearest offers in the run-up to the sale: a 55-inch TCL Mini LED smart TV with up to 144Hz refresh rate will be sold at Rs. 42,240, down from a listed price of Rs. 1,19,990. The company said buyers can save up to Rs. 77,000 on that model.

According to the sale teaser, smart TVs from Samsung, TCL, Xiaomi, LG, Sony, Acer, Hisense, Vu, Lumio and Philips will be available at lower prices during the event. Budget projectors from Boat and Wzatco are also listed, along with higher-end offerings from Lumio and other tech firms.

Amazon said customers can start adding devices they want to buy to their wishlist before the sale begins on May 8 in India. The company has begun teasing only part of the sale lineup so far, with more smart TV and projector deals still to be revealed later this week.
