Itel A100 Debuts in India With Rugged Build
itel on Monday announced the A100 in India, a budget smartphone built to emphasize durability and design. The device arrives after the launch of the A100c, the brand’s first phone release for 2026. It is pitched at the sub-Rs 10,000 segment, with a price starting at Rs 6,799 for the 3GB + 64GB model and Rs 7,499 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. Itel says the A100 is built for a strong and rigid build and carries MIL-STD 810H certification to protect against accidental drops or bumps during regular use. The company also highlights that the rear design mirrors a premium look and feel.
Specs, Features and Availability
In terms of connectivity and software, the A100 runs Android 15 Go and includes UltraLink, a feature that enables making calls or sending messages via Bluetooth to other supported itel phones even without a traditional internet connection. An IR blaster sits below the 8MP rear camera to control home appliances. The handset is 4G-only and pairs with a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display at 90Hz with a water drop notch housing the 5MP selfie shooter. The smartphone has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports normal usage with a maximum power rating of 10 Watts. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor to protect sensitive information.
