OPPO F33 Series Set for India Launch

OPPO F33 and F33 Pro launch in India on April 15, with OPPO planning a soft announcement instead of a full event. The company is expected to share details through a press release and updates on its social media channels, according to the provided information. Pricing is not confirmed, but the two phones are rumoured to fall in the Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000 range, with different RAM and storage options likely affecting the final figures.

The OPPO F33 series is being positioned as the next addition to the brand’s F-series lineup, and the focus appears to be on design, durability and mid-range hardware. The leak and teaser roundup mentions an AMOLED display, a MediaTek chipset, a large battery and a set of camera and AI features. The F33 Pro is also said to be the first phone in the family to carry an IP69K rating, along with IP69, IP68 and IP66 protection.

Design And Durability Details

OPPO has already teased several design and build details ahead of the launch. The OPPO F33 Pro is described with a large rectangular rear camera module that houses dual cameras and a ring LED flash. It is expected in Misty Forest, Starry Blue and Passion Red. The Misty Forest option appears to carry a forest pattern across the back panel, while the edges and display are said to be flat.

Durability is a major part of the F33 Pro pitch. The handset is said to use a 360-degree armour body, an aerospace-grade aluminium frame, a reinforced internal structure and a thicker protective glass layer. The rear panel is also said to use a sturdier polymer build. The same round-up says the phone may offer protection against high-pressure jets and high-temperature liquids, along with resistance to accidental drops and falls.

The standard OPPO F33 is expected to follow a different design. It is said to use a small squircle rear module instead of the larger rectangular layout seen on the Pro model. So far, the F33 has only been teased in white. The display is said to feature AGC DT-STAR D+ glass protection, and the report suggests the non-Pro model will carry similar protection.

OPPO F33 And F33 Pro Specifications

Very little has been officially confirmed on the hardware side, but the roundup gives a fairly clear picture of the expected specifications. The OPPO F33 series is said to run ColorOS 16 on top of Android 16 out of the box. Leaks point to a 6.57-inch flat AMOLED display and a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max SoC.

The battery setup is one of the most specific details in the report. The phones are tipped to include a 7,000mAh battery rated to retain up to 80 percent capacity after 1,830 charge cycles. The battery is also said to use self-repairing electrolyte technology. Charging support is expected to include 80W SuperVooc wired charging, with bypass and reverse wired charging also mentioned.

Camera details have also been outlined. The F33 series is said to include a 50MP front camera with a 100-degree field of view, along with 0.6x, 1x and 2x focal options. The device is being described as an “AI Group Selfie Expert” because it can reportedly zoom out automatically when it detects two or more people in the frame. On the back, the phones are tipped to feature dual cameras, with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor.

OPPO is also said to load the phones with a number of imaging tools. These include Dual-View Video, Colourful Front Fill Light, Natural Light, Rim Light, Studio Light and AI Portrait Glow. The report also lists AI Eraser 2.0, AI Reflection Remover and AI Unblur among the software tools.

The OPPO F33 series is also expected to enter a crowded mid-range segment. The roundup names the Motorola Edge 70 series, Nothing Phone (4a), Realme 16 and POCO X8 Pro among the rivals in that price bracket. The report notes that the Realme 16 also matches the F33 series in durability through an IP69K rating.

At this stage, the key details remain split between confirmed teaser information and leak-based specifications.
