Oppo Find X9s and Poco X8 Set for India Launch With Dimensity 9500s

Launch Timeline and Markets

OPPO Find X9s and a Poco X8 model are set to launch in India powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500s, the chipmaker said. Dimensity 9500s was launched globally in January, and MediaTek confirmed it will be available in India soon. At an event in New Delhi on Friday, MediaTek announced that several upcoming smartphones in the country will be powered by the chipset, including the Oppo Find X9s, which targets a Q2 2026 launch. It is also reported to power one of the models in the Poco X8 series.

The OPPO Find X9s will be among the first smartphones in India to feature the all new Dimensity 9500s chipset. It is scheduled to arrive in South Asian markets such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, and others.

Device Specs and Timeline

According to our sources, OPPO is aiming for a launch in Q2 2026 for the Indian market and other South Asian markets. This suggests that the release will take place between April and June, which is strategically timed to compete with mid year flagship refreshes from rival brands.

On the optics side, we expect the Find X9s to feature a triple-camera setup on the rear with a 200 MP main camera and a 200 MP tele lens. As we inch closer to Q2, expect more details on pricing and specific availability to surface. For now, the Find X9s is among the devices to watch in the region.
