OPPO Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s India launch date tipped for May 15

OPPO flags May India launch for Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s

OPPO Find X9 Ultra India launch this month, with a new leak pointing to May 15 as the date. OPPO has not announced the official India launch date yet, but the company has already confirmed that both phones will arrive in May.

Just after the OPPO Find X9 Ultra made its debut in China, the brand confirmed that it is bringing the phone to India as well. It will launch alongside the Find X9s in India, not the Find X9s Pro that was seen in China. The new models will join the existing India lineup, which already includes the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro.

The leak comes from tipster Sanju on X, who said the OPPO Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s are scheduled for an India launch on May 15. If that date holds, the phones would arrive about two weeks from now. OPPO has not verified the day, so the date remains tipped for now.

Find X9s pricing and confirmed specifications

The same tipster also said the Find X9s could be priced around Rs 70,000 in India. That would place it below the Find X9, which starts at Rs 74,999. The naming and pricing leak suggest the Find X9s may be positioned as a lower-priced option in the series.

Here are the confirmed specifications of the OPPO Find X9s:

• 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2760×1256 pixels resolution
• 120Hz refresh rate
• Gorilla Glass 7i protection
• 50MP primary camera
• 50MP telephoto camera
• 50MP ultra-wide camera
• 32MP front camera
• MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor
• Up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM
• UFS 4.1 storage up to 512GB
• 7,025mAh battery
• 80W SUPERVOOC charging
• Midnight Grey, Lavender Sky and Sunset Orange colour options

The Find X9 Ultra is also notable for another reason. OPPO says it is the first Ultra model to launch in India. The company has not shared the full India details yet, but the model’s arrival expands the lineup further at the flagship end.

OPPO expands the Find X9 lineup in India

The India launch would add two more phones to a series that is already growing in the country. The Find X9 and Find X9 Pro are already part of the India lineup, and the incoming Ultra and X9s would widen the range on both ends. The reported setup suggests OPPO is covering a broader flagship spread, from the higher-end camera-focused Ultra to the more balanced Find X9s.

The Find X9s has already had its key hardware details confirmed, while the India launch date and pricing details are still waiting for an official announcement. For now, the May 15 timeline and the Rs 70,000 pricing remain tipped information. OPPO has confirmed only that both phones will launch in India in May.

If the leak is accurate, the next step is simple: wait for OPPO to put out the official launch notice for India and confirm the full pricing and availability details.
