iQOO Flagship Reportedly Tipped With Dimensity 9500 and 8000mAh Battery
iQOO new flagship appears in early leak
iQOO is reportedly working on a new high-performance smartphone for the Chinese market, with early leaks pointing to MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset and a large battery. The device could arrive as either the iQOO 15T or a Neo-series model, although the final branding is still unclear.
Details shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo suggest the phone is still in development and several specifications may change before launch. The leak also leaves room for uncertainty on the camera setup, while the display, battery and build details are already being discussed in the same report.
Dimensity 9500, 2K OLED display and 8000mAh battery
According to the leak, the new iQOO phone is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, a flagship chip already used in several Android high-end devices. If the tip proves accurate, the model would join a crowded performance segment and could go up against recently launched and upcoming rivals in the same class.
The handset is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED display with 2K resolution. The report also mentions an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, which would place it above phones that still rely on optical sensors.
Battery life is one of the main points in the leak. The device is said to carry a rated 7,845mAh battery, which may be marketed as 8,000mAh. That would put it above many current flagship phones that usually sit in the 6,000mAh to 7,000mAh range. The phone is also described as using a metal middle frame and carrying IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Camera details remain unconfirmed
The report says the handset may include a 200MP primary camera, but that part is not yet finalised. The source note also says the camera setup is still in flux, which means the imaging hardware could change before any official announcement from iQOO.
At this stage, the device is being described as one of the last iQOO sub-brand phones to adopt the Dimensity 9500. The timing matters because the next generation of flagship chipsets is expected in a few months, according to the same leak.
For now, the phone remains unofficial. The name, whether iQOO 15T or a Neo-series label, is still open. The report only says the device is in the works and its specifications are based on early information shared online. Until iQOO makes a formal announcement, the leaked details should be treated as unconfirmed.
What the current leak does make clear is the direction iQOO may be taking with its next performance phone. The combination of a Dimensity 9500 chip, a 2K OLED panel and an 8,000mAh-class battery points to a device aimed at users who focus on gaming, multitasking and battery endurance. The build details, including the metal frame and the IP68 and IP69 ratings, add to the picture, even if the final product may still change.
No launch date was mentioned in the transcript, and no official specifications have been released yet. The device is being tracked through leaks only, with the final design, branding and camera details still unsettled.
That leaves the phone in the early rumor stage. The only confirmed part is that iQOO is being linked to a new flagship-class model, and the rest remains subject to change as more information surfaces.
