Motorola Edge 70 Pro Set for India Launch on April 22
Motorola has confirmed the India launch of the Edge 70 Pro for April 22 at 12 pm, with the smartphone set to go on sale through Flipkart. The company has also teased improved low-light photography powered by AI, while the dedicated microsite on the ecommerce platform has already listed the device’s colours and key specifications.
The Edge 70 Pro is positioned as the third phone in the Edge 70 series, following the Edge 70 Fusion and Edge 70. It is also set to succeed last year’s Edge 60 Pro, and Motorola has already revealed several hardware details, including the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme SoC, a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, a 6,500mAh battery and Android 16 out of the box.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro Design and Colour Options
Motorola’s Flipkart microsite lists three colour options for the Edge 70 Pro: Pantone Lily White with a marble finish, Pantone Tea with a satin luxe finish, and Pantone Titan with a tailored fabric finish. The handset appears to continue the curved display design used across the Edge 70 series, along with a square-shaped rear camera module.
On the imaging side, Motorola is highlighting AI-enhanced low-light photography and AI-powered zero shutter lag. The phone is also said to include AI-driven clarity, colour, portrait and group shot features, along with auto macro vision and 4K 60 fps video recording support. No telephoto camera has been mentioned in the information shared so far.
