Oppo Find X9 Ultra is set to be launched soon, a company executive recently confirmed, with the phone positioned as a rival to the Vivo X300 Ultra. The two brands are expected to reveal their flagships in China next month, after the Chinese New Year celebrations in March. Weeks ahead of debut, camera configurations circulating online point to 200-megapixel sensors on the back of both devices.

In a post on Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station leaked camera configurations for the two devices. The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is said to carry a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera on the back with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and a 50-megapixel secondary telephoto camera with up to 10x optical zoom. The Vivo X300 Ultra is reportedly set to feature a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 200-megapixel main shooter with a 1/1.12-inch sensor and a 35mm focal length. The Vivo model is also tipped to include a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 5-megapixel multispectral camera, with claims of end-to-end colour science and enhanced video recording. Both phones are expected to ship with compatible external teleconverter kits, though Oppo and Vivo have not confirmed these details.

This comes after Oppo’s leadership suggested the Find X9 Ultra will be backed by a battery capacity exceeding 7,000mAh, a significant step up from the Find X8 Ultra’s 6,100mAh battery. The Find X8 Ultra previously supported 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, a benchmark referenced in leaked notes.

Expected launch timeline

The Vivo X300 series is currently rumored for late March or early April 2026 in China. The X300 Max is expected to launch either alongside the main lineup or shortly after as a follow-up model. Global availability, including India, could follow in Q2 2026, though Vivo’s S and Max models sometimes stay China-only. No official renders have leaked yet, but given how quickly Vivo launches tend to move once certifications start showing up, it would not be surprising if we start seeing more concrete leaks very soon.
