Redmi K90 Max appears on Geekbench ahead of its April 21 China launch

The Redmi K90 Max has surfaced on Geekbench ahead of its scheduled China launch on April 21 at 7:00pm local time, with the listing pointing to a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and 16GB of RAM. The handset, believed to carry the model number Xiaomi 2604FRK1EC, is also shown running Android 16 and could ship with HyperOS 3 on top.

The listing, independently verified by Gadgets 360 staff, shows benchmark scores of 3,513 in single-core testing and 10,711 in multi-core testing. The device is expected to join the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max in the Xiaomi sub-brand’s lineup.

Geekbench listing reveals core details

A Redmi handset with the model number Xiaomi 2604FRK1EC has been listed on Geekbench, and the model is believed to be the upcoming Redmi K90 Max. The entry shows an octa-core processor with ARMv8 architecture and a base operating frequency of 2.70GHz. Comparing the core configuration suggests the chipset is the MediaTek Dimensity 9500.

The processor uses an “All Big Core” layout, with one Ultra core clocked at 4.21GHz, three Premium cores capped at 3.50GHz, and four Pro cores running at 2.70GHz. The same chipset also powers other phones such as the Oppo Find X9 series and the Vivo X300 lineup.

Expected software and memory configuration

The Redmi K90 Max could be paired with about 14.88GB of RAM, which may be marketed as 16GB. The Geekbench listing also shows Android 16, and the handset may ship with HyperOS 3 layered on top. No other confirmed software details were included in the listing.

In Geekbench 6.6.0 for Android AArch64, the Redmi handset scored 3,513 in single-core testing and 10,711 in multi-core testing. Those figures are in line with other phones using the same SoC, including the Vivo X300 Pro and the Find X9 Pro, both of which were referenced in the input data.

The Redmi K90 Max is set to go official in China soon and is expected to be part of the brand’s K-series lineup alongside the existing K90 and K90 Pro Max models. More details are likely to surface closer to the launch date.

For now, the benchmark listing gives the clearest look yet at the hardware expected on the device, with the Dimensity 9500, 16GB RAM and Android 16 standing out as the key points from the report.
