boAt Lunar Discovery SmartWatch Price Comparison & History in India
Wait for a better price on this smartwatch
The price has climbed to ₹1,599 on both Amazon and Flipkart. That's the highest listed price in this record. This watch has been tracked for 419 days, across both major stores. Its average price sits near ₹1,394. The boAt Lunar Discovery Active usually moves between discounts and regular pricing. It fell to ₹999 on Amazon before rising again. That makes today's price much higher than its proven buying point. That gap matters because this model has repeatedly returned to lower sale pricing.
A casual shopper might miss that the latest matching prices don't make this a competitive deal. Equal pricing across stores only helps when the number itself is attractive. Here, the number is well above the watch's average. The boAt Lunar Discovery Active still offers a large display and basic smartwatch features. But those features don't justify paying near its peak. Amazon and Flipkart have both carried it cheaper recently. The boAt Lunar Discovery Active has a clear history of better prices. If you don't need it today, waiting should save money.

The boAt Lunar Discovery is a practical daily companion designed for quick glance information and light GPS use. The watch shows time, notifications, and weather on a 1.39 inch LCD display with a crisp 240x240 resolution, and brightness up to 800 nits makes it legible even in direct sun. boAt Lunar Discovery Smartwatch offers Turn-by-turn navigation for budget buyers. The silicone band with a tang buckle sits comfortably and stays put during activity. You don’t think about it until it rains, but those little touches add up.
Usage
In typical day to day use you’ll rely on Turn-By-Turn Navigation with MapMyIndia to guide you without reaching for your phone. The DIY Watch Face Studio lets you tailor the look, so the watch can feel like your own. Bluetooth Calling lets you save up to 20 contacts and dial via the built in keypad, which is handy when your phone is tucked away. You can expect up to 7 days of performance without Bluetooth calling and up to 4 days with Bluetooth calling, depending on usage.
Capacity
The 260 Milliamp Hours battery is designed for a week of regular activity. A full charge takes about 2 Hours, and the screen remains readable while it fills.
Controls
The watch relies on a responsive touchscreen for navigation; taps and swipes register with a tactile feel. The strap uses a Tang Buckle and a standard buckle closure that stays secure during workouts, offering a reassuring click as you fasten it.
Durability
With IP67 water resistance and a plastic case, the Lunar Discovery handles rain, sweat, and splashes without fuss. The silicone band is light and comfortable enough to forget you’re wearing it after a while.
Safety
Everyday safety comes from clear visuals and reliable touch input, plus a water resistant build that survives gym sessions and showers.
Installation/Warranty
Box contents include the User Manual, Charging Cable, and the Smart Watch. The Lunar Discovery carries a Limited 1 year warranty from the date of purchase for added peace of mind.

boAt Lunar Discovery SmartWatch FAQs
The 800-nit display stays clear outdoors and looks good indoors too. Text and watch faces are easy to read on the 1.39-inch screen. The 240x240 resolution is decent, though it isn't especially sharp beside costlier watches.
Battery claims are the weak spot here. The stated figure is up to seven days, but everyday reports range from four to five days to less than a day. It charges fully in about two hours, so topping it up doesn't take long.
The 45-gram body feels light enough for office hours and normal workouts. Its silicone strap sits comfortably and can be adjusted without much fuss. The round shape also looks less bulky with regular clothes.
The dial handles regular daily wear without feeling flimsy. Its plastic build does feel cheaper than a metal watch, especially when you look closely. The IP67 rating also helps with dust and everyday splashes.
Built-in GPS handles distance tracking for walks and outdoor workouts without depending fully on the phone. MapMyIndia navigation adds turn-by-turn directions for unfamiliar routes. It is one of the more useful features here for people who walk or travel often.
Bluetooth calling works well enough for quick indoor calls. The built-in speaker and microphone let you answer or make calls straight from the wrist. It feels useful when the phone is in another room, but it won't replace your phone for longer conversations.
The watch covers heart rate, SpO2, sleep, and step tracking in one place. These readings are fine for checking simple trends during the day. Don't treat them as medical measurements, especially since the health sensors can be inconsistent.
The touchscreen is bright and generally easy to navigate. Touch sensitivity can miss taps now and then, especially when moving quickly through menus. It isn't a deal-breaker, but cheaper watches can feel more responsive.
Lunar Discovery brings built-in GPS, Bluetooth calling, and MapMyIndia navigation to daily use. Pick it over Amazfit Bip 5 if wrist calls and turn-by-turn directions matter more to you. Its round screen also has a more traditional watch look.
Lunar Discovery keeps notifications and Bluetooth calls easy to access from the wrist. Its round 1.39-inch display feels more like a normal watch than many ColorFit models. The limited contact storage is the main thing to remember for calling.
Lunar Discovery covers GPS, steps, heart rate, SpO2, sleep, and workout tracking. Against Fire-Boltt Phoenix, its biggest pull is the built-in MapMyIndia navigation. The tracking tools are useful for basic fitness, but the health readings aren't dependable enough for serious training.
Notifications are one of the better everyday reasons to wear this watch. You can glance at incoming alerts instead of pulling out the phone every time. Music controls, alarms, timers, and reminders add more useful shortcuts.
IP67 protection is enough for rain, sweat, and normal daily splashes. It suits walking, gym sessions, and outdoor use without needing constant worry. Keep it away from swimming and deep water because this isn't built as a swimming watch.
MapMyIndia gives the watch turn-by-turn directions for unfamiliar routes. That is useful during city walks when checking the phone repeatedly gets annoying. Built-in GPS also helps track the route and distance during outdoor activity.
The camera shutter control lets the watch trigger photos remotely. It works best when the phone is placed nearby and everyone is ready for the shot. This is a small feature, but it is genuinely useful for group pictures.
Real & Verified Reviews of boAt Lunar Discovery SmartWatch
Great budget smart watch
Used it for a year now, still works and love it. Great budget smart watch.
Quite good, but could be better
For starters, I am not a heavy smartwatch user. I use it mostly coz of easy access to my phone's notifications - given that, it is quite good. Don't really care about heart rate, etc etc, pretty gimmicky to be honest. I usually like round dials on smartwatches, one of the reasons why i went with this, but there definitely are better options out there. I liked the look of the brown starps with the silver dial, the dial is plastic build, coz they don't have a metallic silver dial available. The strap is silicone, and quite good, no complaints there. I tried on some other straps too, works fine. The color is good, and pairs well with most outfits. The touch screen is decent in terms of brightness, but the touch sensitivity is not great all the time. Not a deal breaker though. Some decent watchfaces available, and the option to be able to build your own watchface is also pretty creative. The app is good, well designed and good ux. The biggest downside is the battery longevity..as I mentioned, even though I am not a heavy user, the 100% battery lasts hardly 4-5 days, but it charges quickly too.. The bottom sensor had some minor scratches, but i let that slide.. All the above comparison is against the usage of my previous smartwatch which was from Boult. It had its cons, but overall touch sensitivity, battery longevity were way better than this.
Battery life is not working as mentioned.
I bought a Boat watch. The advertisement claimed a battery life of 5 days, but in actual use, I found that the battery doesn't even last a single day after a full charge. When I called Amazon customer service, they told me to visit a Boat service center. Upon searching for a center near my location, I discovered it was 207 km away. How could I possibly travel that far—just for a watch costing ₹1,300?
I love this watch
I'm thoroughly impressed with the boAt Lunar Discovery smartwatch! The 1.39" vibrant display is stunning, with crisp and clear visuals that make navigating through menus and tracking my fitness goals a breeze. Feature-Rich This smartwatch packs a punch with its array of features, including heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, sleep tracking, and multiple sports modes. The built-in GPS provides accurate distance tracking, and the water resistance gives me peace of mind during workouts or daily activities. Long Battery Life The battery life is exceptional, lasting up to 7 days on a single charge, which is impressive for a smartwatch with so many features. I can track my fitness goals, receive notifications, and control my music playback without worrying about running out of juice. Comfortable and Stylish Design The watch is comfortable to wear, with a sleek and stylish design that suits both formal and casual occasions. The strap is adjustable and secure, ensuring a snug fit that doesn't feel bulky. Seamless Connectivity The boAt Lunar Discovery smartwatch connects seamlessly to my phone, allowing me to receive notifications, control music playback, and access a range of features. The companion app is user-friendly and provides valuable insights into my fitness and health data. Verdict Overall, the boAt Lunar Discovery smartwatch is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a feature-rich, stylish, and comfortable wearable device. With its impressive display, long battery life, and robust feature set, it's a 5-star product that I highly recommend!
A Stellar Smartwatch for the Modern Adventurer
Body :- I've been on the hunt for a smartwatch that could keep up with my active lifestyle, and the BoAt Lunar Discovery has truly exceeded my expectations. The 1.39-inch HD display is a real eye-catcher. It's bright, clear, and makes navigating through the menus a breeze. I love the customizable watch faces, especially the DIY feature. It's a fun way to personalize my watch and show off my unique style. The turn-by-turn navigation is a lifesaver, especially when I'm exploring new trails or cities. It's accurate and easy to follow, even when I'm on the go. The Bluetooth calling feature is a game-changer, allowing me to take calls directly from my wrist. It's super convenient, especially when I'm working out or driving. The battery life is impressive, easily lasting a few days on a single charge. The heart rate and sleep tracking features are accurate and provide valuable insights into my overall health. While the build quality is solid, I did find the touch sensitivity a bit inconsistent at times. However, this is a minor quibble. Overall, the BoAt Lunar Discovery is a fantastic smartwatch that offers a lot of value for money. It's stylish, functional, and perfect for anyone who wants to stay connected and active. Key Features I Love: * Vibrant HD display * Customizable watch faces * Accurate turn-by-turn navigation * Convenient Bluetooth calling * Long-lasting battery * Helpful health tracking features If you're looking for a reliable and feature-packed smartwatch, I highly recommend the BoAt Lunar Discovery.

“Stylish & Feature-Packed Smartwatch with a Few Minor Drawbacks”
A good budget smartwatch with useful features. The watch looks stylish and feels comfortable on the wrist. The touchscreen is good and smooth, and the display is clear, but basic fitness tracking and calling features don't work smoothly. The health sensors (heart rate/steps) aren't accurate, so don't rely on them. Battery life is decent for everyday use. However, the build quality could have been better, and the water resistance isn't great, so it requires careful handling. Overall, it's a good option in this price range, with some limitations.
