iQOO 15 5G 12/256 GB A Gaming Powerhouse Validated by AI Analysis

For that price, you're getting top-tier performance and a battery that simply won't quit. Camera isn't the headline act — but if gaming and battery life matter more to you, it's a genuinely solid deal. And 256GB storage is plenty for most people.

Heavy gaming and streaming, and it still gets through a full day — some users are pulling 9-10 hours of screen-on-time under intensive use. The 7000mAh cell is what makes it a standout, though some updates have nudged battery life down slightly over time.

Ridiculously fast — 2% to 100% in about an hour, and a 15-20 minute top-up is enough for a full day's use. Fair warning: the phone heats up noticeably during charging, which catches you off guard the first time.

Daylight and portrait shots look great, and the dedicated street photography mode is a fun extra. Low light is decent but not flagship-level — extreme darkness brings visible noise. Video is a weak spot too, so if that's your priority, look elsewhere.

Absolutely. BGMI and COD at max settings, no frame drops, no lag — and it stays surprisingly cool through long sessions. The 12GB RAM keeps multitasking smooth throughout. A performance beast, full stop.

One of the best displays you'll find — blindingly bright in direct sunlight, with accurate colors and HDR content that looks fantastic. The 144Hz refresh keeps everything smooth. Not as aggressively saturated as some Samsung screens, which some people will prefer.

Gaming heat is well-managed — long sessions don't cause major warming. Fast charging is a different story — it gets hot, and one user flagged it as abnormally so. Trade-off for that charging speed, but it might unsettle you the first few times.

Improved, but not polished. Pre-installed apps you'll want gone are in there, and occasional animation lags and unexpected app closures have been reported — surprising for a flagship. Some UI battery drain too, though updates may sort that out.

Heavy, but it feels solid and premium in hand. One-handed use takes adjustment. The build quality and haptic feedback go a long way toward making up for the weight — most users stop noticing after a few days.

Clear with decent bass — but not loud. In a noisy environment, you'll strain to hear. Fine for personal use; don't expect it to fill a room.

A handful of users have reported intermittent 5G drops that need an airplane mode toggle to fix. Not widespread, but worth knowing if you depend heavily on 5G. Call quality is solid across the board.

IP68 and IP69 rated — rain, splashes, and shallow submersion are all handled. Getting caught in a downpour isn't a worry. Just skip the diving.

Software isn't as polished as One UI or ColorOS — that's the biggest gap. Camera versatility and speaker volume are also slightly behind. But raw performance and battery life? You're not giving much up. A performance-first phone for people who want exactly that.

The 32MP front camera delivers sharp, well-colored selfies in daylight — and holds up in low light too. Video calls come through clearly. Not the absolute best, but more than enough for daily use and social media.

No microSD slot — 256GB is what you get. For most people that's plenty: games, photos, apps, all comfortable. Heavy media hoarders might eventually feel the ceiling.
