Good phone for long-term daily use

I have been using the Samsung Galaxy M36 5G for around one year now, and overall it has been a good experience for regular daily use. The phone has been reliable for everyday tasks such as calling, WhatsApp, browsing, watching videos, social media and using different apps. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage have been sufficient for my usage, and I have not felt the need for more storage for normal day-to-day work. The display is one of the things I have liked most. The screen is comfortable for watching videos and general use, and the phone feels well suited for media consumption. The Velvet Black finish also still looks good after regular use. Performance has remained consistent over the year for normal tasks. Apps open properly and multitasking is comfortable as long as too many heavy apps are not kept running together. For demanding gaming, I would not consider it a gaming-focused phone, but for regular use it performs well. The camera quality is good for everyday photos in decent lighting. In low-light situations, the results can be less consistent, so I would not expect flagship-level photography from it. Battery life has also been satisfactory for my regular usage. Actual backup depends on brightness, network, gaming and app usage, but for normal daily use it has been dependable. After one year, the overall build still feels good and I have not faced any major issue with the phone during my usage. Samsung's software experience and regular updates are also useful for long-term ownership. Overall, after one year, I am satisfied with the phone. It is a practical option for someone looking for a Samsung phone for everyday use rather than a high-end gaming device. Slightly poor battery life, otherwise good.

Reviewing after 10 months. Hope it helps someone. Pros : 1. Superb display, its a wow. ( warning: ur media consumption might go up) 2. Premium looks and design. Since it has got 2 m fall endurance, I use it without cover, feels classy in hand but slippery sometimes. 3. Amazing, clear Video recording. 4k, HD in front and back camera. 4. Can shift from back to front camera and vice versa while recording video without stopping. 5. Single speaker but superb loud, rich, clear sound. ( Dolby Atmos provided) 6. Can see deleted WhatsApp message via notification history in settings. Cons: 1. Battery drains quickly, SOT is just 4 - 4.30 HRS (120 hz display) & 5 - 6 HRS ( 60 hz display) while phone is in 4g network & Wi-Fi on. For normal use battery is sufficient. While using 120 hz, high brightness, multi tasking & wifi on and even in 60 hz it gives less battery life. Due to this sometimes feels like a regret purchase. To extend battery backup ( SOT), I do : Kept all app in sleep mode and deep sleep mode (effective), dark mode on, using 4g network, maxing battery saving mode on, display kept in 60hz, digital wellbeing setting off, dark wallpaper. Check youtube for more. 2. Camera is decent in low light photography, day light photography is above average - good, zoom clarity is below average gives distorted image. Poor telephoto capability. Surprisingly wide angle photo is superb. Other : Drop notch, bezels, all this things doesn't matter after few days once we get use to the phone. Performance is also good. No heating issues. Only the battery part is unsatisfactory. Later after the purchase I found out that exynos chip doesn't give good battery life and performance. I got this phone at 14k ( big billion sale) but above this price is not worth it. Should avoid purchase of all Samsung phone as exynos chipset lacks performance and provides poor battery life. And top of that 5000 mah battery is quite less. Samsung is charging more for brand name. Samsung with other brand processor is good i think. Instead go for other chinese brand providing value and innovation. Overall, a good experience. Performance and UI are smooth, and the back camera is good for this price range. Front camera is decent but could be better. Battery could be bigger, and the front notch is a little irritating. Overall, a decent product in this price overhyped matket

Title: Extremely Disappointed – Poor Sound Quality, Outdated Design, and Zero Value for Money ​I bought this Samsung phone from Amazon for ₹19,999, and after nearly two months of use, I am deeply disappointed. ​Here is my honest experience: ​Pathetic Sound Quality: The loudspeaker output is terrible. There is severe distortion at higher volumes, and the audio sounds harsh, piercing, and completely grating to the ears. ​Outdated Design: Despite spending ₹20,000, there is nothing premium about this phone. The screen and overall aesthetics look and feel completely outdated. ​Inferior Compared to Competitors: My son uses a Moto G85, and comparing the two is like night and day. The Moto offers a beautiful curved display and rich, enjoyable speaker quality in the same price segment. This Samsung phone doesn't come anywhere close. ​Declining Quality: I previously owned a Samsung F23, which started an endless restart loop after just 2.5 years. The service center asked around ₹9,000 to replace the motherboard, so I decided to buy a new phone instead. Sticking with Samsung out of brand loyalty was a mistake—they seem to be cutting corners heavily on basic hardware quality. ​As customers, we deserve products that justify what we pay. Spending ₹20,000 on a phone that delivers substandard audio and an outdated feel is not acceptable. Think twice before buying this if you value display aesthetics and clean audio output. Not recommended.
