IMEI Listings Point to Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch 9

Samsung devices appear in IMEI database

Samsung is poised to begin its annual hardware launches this month, with the Galaxy S26 series reportedly in the mix according to industry sources. The report says several listings on a certification database show upcoming products, including the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and the Galaxy Tab S12+. The listings also point to the Galaxy Watch 9.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is listed with the model number SM-L716U and the Galaxy Watch 9 with model number SM-L345U. Earlier reports indicate the Ultra 2 may feature a larger battery and could share hardware specifications with the standard Galaxy Watch 9. Internally, Samsung reportedly refers to the Ultra 2 as Galaxy Watch 9 Ultra, with final naming expected Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.

In addition to wearables, the same database entries reinforce earlier expectations of Samsung’s broader launch slate, including the anticipated Galaxy S26 series and other wearables, tablets, and foldables announced for the year. These listings are attributed to report and have yet to be independently confirmed by Samsung. The development adds to ongoing coverage about Samsung’s hardware roadmap.

Industry sources familiar with the matter said the listings do not imply confirmed release dates and should be treated as part of market chatter until official statements are made.

The publication also notes the confirmed involvement of Galaxy Tab S12+ in the IMEI database listing. The report does not provide exact specifications for the Tab S12+ beyond its confirmation in the listings. Samsung's plan to kick off hardware launches this month includes the Galaxy S26 series and likely more devices this year.
