Motorola Razr Fold Joins Lenovo May 19 Launch With Legion Y900
Lenovo lines up May 19 event in China
Lenovo is set to host a major launch event in China on May 19, where it will unveil several new devices across its product line, including tablets, laptops and a smartphone. The company has already confirmed the Legion Y900 AI tablet and the Legion Y70 gaming smartphone for the event, while the Motorola Razr Fold is also expected to appear, with Motorola Razr Fold Joins Lenovo as part of the lineup.
Through teasers posted on Weibo, Lenovo said the event will be called “Lenovo Tianxi AI All-in-One Multi-Device All-Scenario New Product Super Night” in translation from Chinese. The launch is also set to include the Yoga Air 14 Ultra and the Legion Y7000X laptops, based on a teaser video shared by the brand. The Legion Y900 AI tablet will be offered in 11-inch and 13-inch display options.
The Legion Y70 marks Lenovo’s return to the smartphone space after a gap of nearly four years. Its previous model was launched in 2022. The company’s posters and teasers point to a broader lineup at the event, with multiple AI laptops and concept devices also part of the showcase.
The Motorola Razr Fold is listed for a May 31 release in China on Lenovo’s official website, even though the teaser video suggests it may be shown at the May 19 event. Pre-reservations for the foldable are already open in China. The handset was previewed earlier at MWC 2026.
Motorola Razr Fold details listed ahead of sale
Lenovo’s official site lists the Motorola Razr Fold in Pearl White and Gentleman Black colour options, with one memory and storage configuration of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The foldable is described as Motorola’s first book-style foldable smartphone.
The handset’s listed specifications include a 6.6-inch cover display and an 8.1-inch inner display. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and carries a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia main sensor. Battery capacity is listed at 6,000mAh, with support for 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Lenovo has not said in the provided information whether all products teased for the May 19 event will be available immediately after the launch. But the official teasers confirm a mix of tablets, laptops and smartphone hardware for the China event, with the Motorola Razr Fold tied to a later May 31 sale date.
Separately, Lenovo’s discussion around AI laptops and concept devices at MWC 2026 also points to the company keeping a broad hardware push in view, even as the May 19 event focuses on its Legion and Motorola-branded devices. The confirmed and listed products include the Legion Y900 AI tablet, Legion Y70 smartphone, Yoga Air 14 Ultra, Legion Y7000X laptops and the Motorola Razr Fold.
The event comes as Lenovo continues building out its Legion lineup in China. The Legion Y900 AI tablet will arrive in both 11-inch and 13-inch versions, while the Legion Y70 brings the company back into phones after its earlier 2022 release cycle. The Motorola Razr Fold, meanwhile, is positioned as the first book-style foldable from the brand and is already open for pre-reservation ahead of its May 31 release.
