Redmi K100 Series Teased Ahead of July 31 ChinaJoy Reveal
Redmi K100 series teaser has arrived just ahead of Xiaomi’s July 31 ChinaJoy 2026 event in Shanghai. The brand’s “annual heavyweight product” is widely expected to be the K100 family, and the first hardware leaks point to Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 100W charging, and a possible premium camera setup.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and 100W charging lead K100 leaks
The Redmi K100 series is being linked to Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which would place it firmly in the upper-premium Android category. That is the strongest hardware signal so far. Some reports also suggest that Pro models could use a dual-chip setup, although that detail is still unconfirmed.
Another key point is charging. A recently certified Xiaomi handset tied to the line is said to support 100W wired charging. If that carries through to the K100 family, it would fit the kind of fast-charging setup buyers expect from a high-end Redmi phone. For now, though, this remains in the leak stage and should be treated carefully.
The timing matters too. Redmi’s teaser has landed right as the company prepares for its July 31 ChinaJoy showcase in Shanghai. That makes the event the most likely place for more concrete details, especially around the launch window and the version lineup. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon booth may also play a part in how the phone is presented.
200-megapixel camera, 10,000mAh battery and Poco F9 Pro rebrand rumors
Camera rumors are also building around the Redmi K100 series. Leak chatter points to a 200-megapixel Redmi camera, periscope telephoto support, and a 50-megapixel macro telephoto lens. If accurate, that would give the phone a much more ambitious imaging setup than a typical midrange model.
Battery claims are even more eye-catching. Testing is said to be stretching as far as a 10,000mAh phone battery, which would be unusual even in the broader flagship space. That figure is not confirmed, but it has clearly become part of the conversation around the K100 line. For readers tracking battery trends, it is one of the more notable rumors in circulation.
There is also talk about the Pro Max model and what it might bring beyond raw specs. Reports mention triple-speaker 2.1 audio, which suggests Redmi may be looking at a more complete multimedia package. That kind of detail, while still unofficial, helps explain why the K100 series is being watched so closely.
Outside China, the rumor mill gets even broader. Some leaks point to a possible Poco F9 Pro rebrand, which would move part of the K100 story beyond Redmi’s home market. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but rebrands are a familiar part of Xiaomi’s product strategy, so the speculation is not out of place.
For now, the Redmi K100 series teaser mainly confirms that something bigger is coming at the end of July. The strongest claims so far are Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 100W charging, and a possible flagship-grade camera setup. The rest, including battery size, audio features, and a Poco tie-in, still sits in rumor territory. The ChinaJoy event should clarify how much of it is real.
