Xiaomi Pad 8 Debuts in India With Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and 9,200mAh Battery
Xiaomi Pad 8 was launched in India on Tuesday as the company’s latest Android tablet. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile platform and runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3. It features an 11.2-inch 3.2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 9,200mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. The tablet supports accessories such as the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro and keyboard attachments designed for productivity and creative use.
In terms of pricing, Xiaomi has listed multiple configurations. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model starts at Rs. 33,999, while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 36,999. The Nano Texture display variant with 12GB + 256GB storage is priced at Rs. 38,999. A Creator’s Edition is available at Rs. 41,999, and the Nano Texture Creator’s Edition costs Rs. 43,999. Availability was announced for a sale beginning March 17 at 12pm IST via Amazon, the Xiaomi India website, Xiaomi retail stores, and partner outlets across India. The color options listed are Graphite Grey and Titanium Blue.
As part of the launch, buyers can access an instant bank discount of Rs. 3,000 on SBI credit card EMI transactions and Rs. 2,750 on full swipe payments. With these offers, the effective starting price drops to Rs. 30,999. The bank offer is valid until March 31, 2026.
The manufacturer also notes a one-year additional warranty for customers who purchase the Pad 8 between March 17 and March 31, excluding the battery. Accessories for the Pad 8 include the Pad 8 Cover priced at Rs. 1,499, the Pad 8 Keyboard at Rs. 4,999, the Focus Pen Pro at Rs. 5,999, and the Pad 8 Focus Keyboard at Rs. 8,999. All accessories will be available from March 17 via Amazon, the Xiaomi India website, and Xiaomi retail stores.
