OnePlus Pad 4 launches in India with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and 13,380mAh battery
OnePlus Pad 4 arrives with new chipset, display and battery
OnePlus Pad 4 launches in India , placing the tablet at the top of its 2026 lineup with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 13.2-inch 3.4K LCD display and a 13,380mAh battery. The company says it is the largest battery it has ever made for a tablet, and the device goes on sale in India from May 5 at 12 PM IST on OnePlus.com.
The OnePlus Pad 4 starts at Rs 59,999 for the 8GB+256GB model and goes up to Rs 64,999 for the 12GB+512GB version. It comes in Wi-Fi only variants and in two colour options, Dune Glow and Sage Mist. OnePlus is also offering an instant Rs 5,000 discount on HDFC Bank Credit Card EMI, which brings the effective prices to Rs 54,999 and Rs 59,999 for the two models.
The tablet is 5.94mm thick and weighs 672g. OnePlus says the Pad 4 is its slimmest Pad so far. The device runs OxygenOS 16.0 and includes face unlock. Accessories such as the OnePlus Stylo Pro and the Pad 4 Smart Keyboard are sold separately, though OnePlus said the stylus will be offered free for a limited time with the tablet.
OnePlus Pad 4 price and availability in India
The pricing puts the Pad 4 above the last generation Pad 3, which launched last year at Rs 47,999. For the new tablet, OnePlus has set the following prices:
- 8GB + 256GB: Rs 59,999
- 12GB + 512GB: Rs 64,999
The company has listed only Wi-Fi variants so far. The sale begins on May 5 at 12 PM IST through OnePlus.com. Two colour choices are available at launch, Dune Glow and Sage Mist.
OnePlus also said the Stylo Pro stylus, which is worth Rs 5,499, will be bundled free for a limited time with the purchase of the Pad 4. The Pad 4 Smart Keyboard is sold separately, and OnePlus did not reveal its price at the time of the announcement.
OnePlus Pad 4 specifications
OnePlus has positioned the Pad 4 as a productivity-focused tablet, and the hardware reflects that. The display is a 13.2-inch LCD panel with a 3.4K resolution of 3392 x 2400 pixels, a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. The panel also carries a 7:5 aspect ratio, which OnePlus says is better suited to documents and multitasking than wider tablet screens.
The tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The available memory options are 8GB and 12GB of RAM, along with 256GB or 512GB of storage. OnePlus says the tablet uses Cryo-velocity cooling with a vapour chamber spanning 45,260mm².
- Display: 13.2-inch LCD, 3.4K resolution, 144Hz adaptive refresh rate
- Brightness: 700 nits typical, 1000 nits HBM
- Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
- RAM: 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5X
- Storage: 256GB / 512GB UFS 4.1
- Battery: 13,380mAh
- Charging: 80W SUPERVOOC
- Audio: 8 speakers with spatial audio
- Connectivity: Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1)
- OS: OxygenOS 16.0
- Dimensions: 289.71 x 209.76 x 5.94mm
- Weight: 672g
The battery is one of the main talking points. At 13,380mAh, it is the biggest battery OnePlus has made for a tablet. The company lists 80W SUPERVOOC charging in the spec sheet. The tablet also carries an eight-speaker setup with four woofers and four tweeters, and supports spatial audio.
On the software side, the Pad 4 runs OxygenOS 16.0 and supports up to five simultaneous free-floating windows on the 12GB model. OnePlus also lists AI Writer, AI Summary, AI Translate, AI Painter, AI Clear Call and an enhanced AI Recorder with real-time annotation, photo insertion and handwriting-to-text conversion. Cross-device functions include screen mirroring and clipboard sharing with OnePlus phones, along with file transfers using Quick Share and O+ Connect for Android, iOS, Windows and Mac devices.
The design is plain on the numbers, but the details are specific. OnePlus says the tablet measures 289.71 x 209.76 x 5.94mm and weighs 672g. Biometrics are limited to face unlock. The company says the OnePlus Stylo Pro offers 16,000 levels of pressure sensitivity, two interchangeable tips and magnetic attachment to the tablet body. The Pad 4 Smart Keyboard has 16.05mm keycaps and a large touchpad. Both accessories are sold separately.
OnePlus has not left much unclear on the hardware side. The Pad 4 brings Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, USB-C with USB 3.2 Gen 1, and a display rated at 700 nits typical brightness and 1000 nits peak brightness under HBM. It also has 98% DCI-P3 colour coverage, 12-bit colour depth and a touch sampling rate of up to 540Hz.
The launch follows the company’s broader Pad line, and the Pad 4 now sits as the newest flagship tablet in that range. For India buyers, the main details are already set: pricing, specifications, colour options and the first sale date. The device will be available from May 5 at 12 PM IST on OnePlus.com.
OnePlus has also shown the tablet in Dune Glow and Sage Mist, and has placed the stylus and keyboard into separate accessory sales rather than including both in the base package. The company’s own materials also note that the 12GB model is the one with support for five free-floating windows, while the 8GB version is more limited on multitasking. That detail is part of the software setup at launch.
For now, the OnePlus Pad 4 enters the Indian market with a top-end processor, a 3.4K 144Hz display, a 13,380mAh battery and a starting price of Rs 59,999. The sales window opens in early May, and the tablet is listed as a Wi-Fi only model at launch.
