Lumio EPIC1-ADSG 55 Inch LED TV Price Comparison & History in India
Consider This TV If You Need One Now
At ₹54,999 on Amazon, this Lumio Vision 9 is slightly below its usual level. That’s just under its ₹55,249 average, so this is a reasonable deal. The history spans 419 days, with small moves rather than one lasting sale. The lowest price reached was ₹51,999 on Amazon. The gap is noticeable, but not large enough to make today’s deal poor. Amazon was cheapest on every recorded date. That makes checking another platform less important right now.
Still, the recent trend deserves attention. The price fell in August, then rose again before the latest record. One thing casual shoppers might miss is that the latest price isn’t the recent low. Sale pricing can return during major shopping events, especially with this model’s uneven movement. Lumio Vision 9 suits you if you need a 55-inch Mini LED television soon. If you’re flexible, watching Amazon for another drop makes sense. This Lumio Vision 9 doesn’t look overpriced, but it isn’t a standout bargain either.

Lumio EPIC1-ADSG 55 Inch LED TV FAQs
The four-speaker setup gets loud and keeps dialogue clear, with 24W output behind it. Dolby Audio and Atmos support add some weight to films, and the built-in bass is better than most slim TVs. A soundbar isn't necessary for regular movie nights.
900 nits gives it enough punch for a room with strong daylight. The screen stays visible beside a large window, and local dimming keeps darker scenes from looking washed out. It works best when the screen isn't facing a direct beam.
Local dimming is one of the strongest parts of the panel. Blacks look deep, dark detail stays visible, and blooming is mostly limited to difficult scenes like closing credits. HDR films benefit the most from it.
HD channels get a useful 4K lift instead of looking soft on the 55-inch screen. Older movies also retain more detail, including black-and-white content. Native 4K from Netflix and Prime looks sharper still.
Dolby Vision has visibly richer highlights and better shadow detail than regular HDR here. The TV detects Dolby Vision automatically, and the panel has enough brightness to show the difference. Night scenes look especially good with compatible films.
Fast-moving sports and action scenes stay crisp without obvious stutter. MEMC helps smooth motion when the source needs it, while the 60Hz panel keeps this more suited to everyday viewing than high-frame-rate play. Cricket and football look clean from the sofa.
Google TV feels unusually quick here. Apps open fast, volume changes respond immediately, and menus don't drag after long sessions. The 3GB RAM and BOSS processor keep the basic interface moving nicely.
Voice search catches most commands and saves a lot of remote typing. Bluetooth keeps the remote connected without pointing it directly at the screen. Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and JioHotstar are easy to reach.
The three HDMI 2.1 ports are useful for newer consoles and sound systems. They handle fast connections, but the 60Hz panel won't show 120-frame gameplay. Casual PS5 or Xbox gaming works well, while competitive players will want a faster screen.
At 14.6 kg without the stand, it isn't unusually heavy for a 55-inch TV. Wall-mount support and the included table stand cover the two usual setups. The 83mm body sits fairly close to the wall.
Vision 9 brings Mini-LED local dimming, Dolby Vision and 900-nit brightness to the comparison. Its built-in speakers are also unusually capable, with clear dialogue and decent bass for movie nights. Sony has the more established name, but Lumio gives you more screen hardware in this range.
Vision 9 is built for bright rooms, with 900 nits and local dimming behind the panel. Samsung remains the safer familiar-brand choice. Vision 9 is more attractive if Mini-LED contrast and Dolby Vision matter more.
Vision 9 runs Google TV, so voice search, profiles, Chromecast and the main streaming apps are built in. It avoids VIDAA and feels quicker in everyday navigation. Hisense gives more model choice, but Lumio's software is the cleaner fit for someone wanting Google TV.
MEMC can turn itself on when HDR or Dolby Vision is detected. That can give films an artificial smoothness, so the setting sometimes needs to be switched off manually. The picture stays fine once MEMC is set the way you want.
The supplied legs are simple enough to fit in about five minutes. A paid stand-installation visit was quoted at Rs. 1,400 even though the setup could be done at home. Wall mounting is the job where paid help makes more sense.
A power-board fault once took several visits and more than three weeks to sort out. The first replacement part didn't fix the TV, and the motherboard later needed replacement too. Support updates were slow while the parts were being approved and dispatched.
Real & Verified Reviews of Lumio EPIC1-ADSG 55 Inch LED TV
Awesome tv complete satisfaction
Awesome picture quality and very reasonable price. You can definitely see the difference between dolby vision and other video formats in this tv. This TV is faster than most of the phones even. Highly recommend. Im so satisfied with the performance. There are lot if thinkgs to share. It will play dolby atmos, dolby vision, hi-res audio and can give you more clarity even when you are watching retro b/w movies as well. Its enhancing the picture quality when you are watching old movies i think.
Loving it!
Writing this review after 10 days of purchase. The picture quality is amazing. This is an IPS panel which has superior colors and picture quality than most TVs that use a VA panel. This TV easily beats Sony and Samsung in this proce range. The local dimming is quite good. The TV is quite bright in general. The OS is smooth and super responsive. I've even installed a couple of games on the TV and it's been smooth. I even played a 4K movie through external hard drive without any hiccups. The remote is high quality and the voice commands are spot on 90% of the time. The TV looks very premium and has great connectivity. Lots of love for Lumio. I'd highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for a great TV in this budget. One suggestion from me would be to install it yourself if they ask you to oay money. I got a rolling tv stand and the installation guy wanted Rs.1400 to install the TV on it. My wife and I installed it on the stand in under 10 mins and saved ourselves 1400. If you want to install in on the prpvided legs it'll take just 5 mins. Only go for the paid installation if its a wall mount that you're not comfortable working on. The OS setup is easier than setting up a phone.
QD-MiniLED + Amazing Sound + Google TV = No-Brainer at This Price !
Posting after 7 weeks of usage. I am delighted by this purchase. Let me break this down. QD-MiniLED panel at this price is a no-brainer. You’ll be hard-pressed to find anything else offering QD-MiniLED with full-array local dimming at this price point. Deep blacks, vivid colors — there is a clear percpetible difference in video quality for HDR content. Picture quality is phenomenal. Fast-moving content (sports, action) is crisp. Upscaling works well for HD channels. And 4K content from Netflix/Prime looks better than some of the higher-priced competitors. Sound quality is a surprise. I have a decent 5.1 setup, but I sometimes forget to switch it on. Yet, at very often I do not realize the difference because of the quality of built-in audio. The built-in speakers deliver clarity and bass that are more than acceptable for casual viewing. Brightness is spot-on. We have a huge French window right next to the TV with bright daylight pouring in. No visibility issues. And in low-light scenes at night, it handles dark detail without blooming or wash-out. Google TV experience is snappy. App switching, volume change, and navigation are fast and fluid. No lag, no stutter, no bloat. All the benefits of Google TV. Voice search works well. User profiles, content discovery, Chromecast built-in — everything works as expected. I strongly recommend this product, it will not dissapoint you.
Very good
Value for money good display
Good product but pathetic after-sales service.
Good product but pathetic after-sales service. The product was installed one week after delivery, and that too only after multiple calls and follow-ups. I was still okay and did not submit a review, as delays can happen sometimes. Then, the product developed a fault after 3 months. I could not switch it on. I was not concerned, as this can happen with any electronic product. That is why we have warranties and similar support. But then, the nightmare started. Day 0: Complaint logged Day 1: Technician arrived. Found a fault with the power supply board. He said he needed to make a video and send it for approval of the required part. He also said he would come back in the evening as there was an issue with his multimeter. He did not show up. I was happy with the quick response initially, but it was short-lived. Day 2–3: No show Day 4: Technician visited. I thought he would come with the required part, but no—he came to record the video. Day 7: The part was dispatched 3 days after the technician sent the video. Day 8: Technician visited and installed the part, but the TV still did not switch on. He said the received part was faulty and that he would order it again. Day 9–16: Continuous follow-ups. No response or poor response from customer support. False promises of updates and assurance that the part would be dispatched soon. Day 16: The part was dispatched again. Day 17: A new technician visited with the part. Here came the surprise—he found that there was no fault in the power supply board. The motherboard was faulty. I was convinced he was right as he performed a thorough check and explained every step. He said he would update the service center and get the part on priority. Day 18–22: Continuous follow-ups. No response or poor response from customer support. Day 23: The technician arrived with the part. He replaced both the motherboard and the power supply, and the TV finally started working. I understand that any electronic device can develop a fault. The TV developing a fault within 3 months was not an issue for me. However, the service provided by the company really made me rethink my decision to buy a product from a new brand. Also, spare parts should be made available at the service center. Instead of the current process—where approval comes from the Lumio team and then the warehouse dispatches parts to the service center—the service center could stock parts and release them after approval from Lumio. This would significantly reduce the waiting time.
Amazing Picture Quality
Lumio Vision 9 139cm (55 inches) 4K Ultra HD Smart QD-MiniLED Google TV EPIC1-ADSG Good Picture Quality (OLED like picture quality in QD-MINI LED TV.) The Lumio Vision 9 is a strong contender in the mid-range TV market, offering a compelling blend of features, performance, and value. Its QD-Mini LED panel delivers impressive visuals, particularly for HDR content, and the Google TV interface is remarkably fluid. While it has some limitations in dark scene performance and caters primarily to casual gamers, the Vision 9's strengths make it a highly attractive option for the price. If you prioritize a vibrant display, smooth smart TV experience, and good audio without breaking the bank, the Lumio Vision 9 is definitely worth considering. Just go for it.....
Works as described.
It has been three months since I purchased it. Till now no problem with anything on it. Product works as described. It auto detects HDR or Dolby vision, but sometimes you have to go to the settings to manually turn off MEMC as sometimes it automatically turns it on when some HDR or DV is detected. I am satisfied with the picture quality and local dimming is very good. Sound is good for me, basically it varies on user to user. But if you can add Dolby Atmos speaker,it will have a significant enhancement to your movie experience. Software is fast and user friendly. In all five stars from me.
