Apple Expands Indian Retail Footprint with Hyderabad Store Hint
Hyderabad Expansion Signals Sixth Apple Store in India
Apple is expanding its retail footprint in India with signs of a new store in Hyderabad. The company currently operates five branded stores in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Noida. The Noida store, inaugurated in December 2025 at the DLF Mall of India in Sector 18, is the latest addition. During Apple’s recent quarterly earnings call, executives said a second store in Mumbai would open soon. Now, job postings on Apple’s India site indicate a Hyderabad store is in development, though the company has not confirmed a location or inauguration date. If realized, the Hyderabad store would be Apple’s first in the city and would mark the sixth branded store in the country.
Hyderabad Store Staffing Signals Retail Expansion
Three new job listings have been posted for Hyderabad in Apple’s Retail division, including a Manager, a Senior Manager, and a Store Leader. The postings show that the Senior Manager will lead a team that includes Store Managers, assist with recruiting, training, developing and retaining a high performing team, and actively participate in floor leadership by regularly interacting with team members and customers.
The company is specifically seeking candidates who have managed teams in retail, sales, and related fields in the past. The Store Leader will be responsible for building and leading a team, while engaging and supporting customers in a dynamic environment.

Mumbai Expansion Timeline and Location Context
Apple’s chief executive Tim Cook confirmed on the company’s first-quarter earnings call that a second Apple Store in Mumbai would be inaugurated soon. He did not divulge an exact location or opening date. Reports have suggested the store could be located at Oberoi Sky City Mall in Borivali.
This development comes as part of Apple’s broader retail expansion in India.
