Infinix GT 50 Pro Launches Globally on April 24 with Gaming Triggers
Infinix GT 50 Pro set for April 24 global launch
Infinix GT 50 Pro Launches Globally on April 24 in select markets, continuing its gaming-focused lineup with pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers and a visible liquid cooling system. The phone follows the GT 30 Pro and keeps a design and feature set aimed at mobile gaming rather than a broader mainstream shift.
The GT 50 Pro is expected to carry a 1.5K flat AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and support for up to 144fps gameplay on select titles. Leaks also point to a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, up to 12GB RAM, and storage going up to 512GB.
Gaming features remain the main focus
Infinix appears to be leaning further into the same formula it used with the GT 30 Pro, which arrived in India in June 2025. That earlier model was launched at Rs 24,999 and came with shoulder triggers and bundled gaming accessories. The GT 50 Pro continues with that approach, keeping gaming controls at the center of the device rather than moving toward a standard all-rounder design.
The new model introduces the Pressure-Sense GT Trigger, placed along the right edge, and designed to work like console-style input. Infinix is also positioning the phone around gameplay stability, with the company highlighting its liquid cooling system as a way to reduce overheating during longer gaming sessions.
The cooling setup is visible through the back panel. Infinix says the idea is to help maintain performance over time, especially during extended use. The phone is also being marketed around support for 144fps gameplay in select titles, though real-world performance will depend on optimisation and thermals.
Design and hardware details
Design changes appear limited. The GT 50 Pro keeps a sharp, slightly industrial look, with visible elements on the back that fit the gaming theme. So far, Infinix has teased two colour options, silver and red. The rear includes a dual camera setup, while the front uses a hole-punch display.
Leaks suggest a 6.78-inch display and a camera arrangement that looks secondary to the gaming hardware. On paper, the rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 13MP front camera. The focus, based on the current information, remains on gaming controls, cooling and performance rather than camera-first features.

Infinix has not moved away from the kind of hardware mix that made the GT series stand out in the first place. The GT 30 Pro sat in the same range as performance-focused phones from brands such as iQOO and POCO, but added gaming controls and accessories as differentiators. The GT 50 Pro looks set to follow that path again.
The timing of the launch is also notable. OnePlus is expected to introduce the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra just a few days later on April 28, and that device comes with its own gaming controller. For now, Infinix is preparing to bring the GT 50 Pro to global markets on April 24, with the launch expected to underline the company’s continued push into gaming-heavy phones.
More details may be clearer when Infinix unveils the device officially, but the current information points to a phone built around triggers, cooling and high refresh-rate gaming support.
