The phone is also being positioned by the company as the fastest phone in the Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 range. The software side includes OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, and OnePlus is claiming up to five years of smooth usage based on internal testing.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite vs Nord CE 6

OnePlus will launch the Lite model alongside the standard OnePlus Nord CE 6. The standard phone uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, gets a sharper 1.5K display, dual-axis OIS on the main camera, a 32MP front camera with autofocus and stereo speakers. It also has a larger 8,000mAh battery. The Lite version keeps the core direction of the series but trims back on some of the premium hardware.

In the Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 segment, OnePlus is placing the Nord CE 6 Lite against the Redmi Note 15, Lava Agni 4 and Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. The company’s current positioning highlights the 7,000mAh battery, Android 16 out of the box and the five-year fluency claim as part of the phone’s pitch in this price band.

The launch is scheduled for May 7, and more details are expected around the event. For now, the microsite update has confirmed the core specifications and the price bracket for the Lite model before its India debut.
