Poco X8 Pro Series India Launch Timeline Leaked Alongside Poco X8 Pro Max Benchmark Results

Timeline and Certification

Poco is positioning its X series for expansion in India as leaks point to a mid-March debut for the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max. A tip from Abhishek Yadav on X suggests an India launch window by mid-March, with an early AnTuTu benchmark result for a testing unit of the Pro Max reportedly standing at 36,12,095. If accurate, the figure places the device in a high-performance segment within the upper mid-range or near-flagship tier.

Official confirmation from Poco is not present at this time. The latest chatter indicates that more information could surface in the near term as the date approaches.

A TDRA listing has surfaced, naming model numbers 2511FPC34G and 2602BPC18G, which are expected to correspond to the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max. The listings also fuel the possibility that these devices may be rebranded versions of the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro Max, which debuted in China last month.

Design, Renders and Expected Features

Leak renders show a matte flat back with subtly curved edges and a vertically aligned pill-shaped dual-camera module. The devices appear in black, white, and turquoise colorways. Visual details depict a flat display with slim bezels, a centred hole-punch cutout, and an orange-accented power button on the right side. The Pro Max variant carries a similar overall design and color options, with slightly larger camera rings hinting at potential hardware upgrades over the standard Pro model.

Poco has not released official imagery or specifications, but the renders and listings contribute to a clearer picture of the expected aesthetic and form factor.

Specifications and Benchmark Details

The Poco X8 Pro is described as featuring a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset and carry a triple camera array led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 20-megapixel front camera. A 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging is listed as part of the package.

The Poco X8 Pro Max is expected to push the display size to 6.83 inches while maintaining a 1.5K OLED panel. It is linked to the Dimensity 9500s SoC and a 50-megapixel Light Hunter 600 primary sensor with OIS, plus an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The Pro Max reportedly houses an 8,500mAh battery with fast charging support described as similar to the Pro variant.

Both the Poco X8 Pro and Pro Max are unmistakably alike, considering they share a similar design language, upgraded displays in both editions, and large battery capacities. The high AnTuTu score claimed for the Pro Max indicates strong performance expectations; however, Poco has not confirmed any specifics yet regarding a release date.

As we move closer to the mid-March timeframe, more detail about the anticipated devices (pricing, availability, and regional variants) will become clear and we will see whether other manufacturer communications or regulatory listings confirm the information being circulated about these phones. The leaks also fit within a pattern that Poco has followed with its consumer electronics brand, having progressively built up its X series in India to provide consumers with mid-range products that provide a balance of performance and charging speed.
