LG T90AJMB1Z 9kg Top Load Features & Overview
Usage
In day to day laundry, this 9 Kilograms LG machine aims to deliver faster wash times with Jet Spray+ that washes off dirt without heavy prewash. It is freestanding, so you place it where you need it and you don’t think about it until you need it. The cycle knob has a tactile resistance and a crisp click when you select from the eight wash programs.
Capacity
The 9 Kilograms capacity is designed for a family load. It balances bulk with careful fabric handling, so towels and sheets can share a cycle without overloading the drum.
Controls
The machine uses a knob for cycle selection and a bright LED display that clearly shows the chosen program, time left, and any delays. You can count on a steady, almost silent spin thanks to the Smart Inverter motor.
Durability
With a Stainless Steel drum and a robust steel body, the unit feels built to last. The Smart Inverter motor reduces noise and wear over many cycles.
Safety
Key safety features include a Child Lock and a door safety feature during power restoration; there is also an Auto Restart that resumes a cycle after a power cut. The LED display remains readable in bright or dim light.
Installation and Warranty
Freestanding installation makes positioning easy, and the manufacturer offers a 2 Years on product and 10 Years on motor warranty. For service, contact LG using the details supplied in your invoice.

LG T90AJMB1Z 9kg Top Load FAQs
The Smart Inverter motor runs quietly, especially in regular washing, and it doesn't fill the room with the usual loud machine noise. The 780 rpm spin is more noticeable than the wash itself.
Yes, compared with less efficient machines. The Smart Inverter motor also keeps things steadier and more efficient. Exact electricity use per cycle isn't listed.
Short answer: yes. The 9 kg capacity is made for family loads, with towels and bedsheets together. It's handy when weekly laundry piles up fast, because you don't have to split every bulky load into smaller batches.
It's a good fit for regular family washing, and it won't soak up stains or smells the way a rougher tub can. The Smart Inverter motor also has a 10-year cover from LG.
LG has a 9 kg drum, an agitator wash system and several everyday cycles. The Smart Inverter motor keeps normal washing quieter. Samsung only tempts more if a particular model has the controls or cycles you specifically need.
LG offers a mix of Normal, Quick Wash, Strong, Wool and Delicate cycles, and Jet Spray+ rinses detergent out of the load. For plain family washing, LG is the easier pick.
Families get a bigger 9 kg load size and simple button controls. The LED panel shows time left and cycle status clearly. If specialised wash controls matter more to you than easy operation, look at IFB.
It's meant for lightly soiled clothes that don't need a full heavy cycle, and it cuts the time for small daily loads. Strong or heavily dirty clothes need a longer programme.
Jet Spray+ pushes rinse water through the load, thicker fabrics included. Towels and heavy clothes get better water movement than a basic rinse gives. For bulk washing, it's one of the more useful features.
Yes. The LED display shows the selected cycle and the time left without any fuss. Buttons keep the controls simple if you don't want app-based settings, and an end-of-cycle indicator tells you when the load is done.
Child Lock blocks accidental button presses while the machine runs, which helps when kids are moving around the laundry area. Leave the wash going and the settings won't change halfway.
It can feel short if the tap sits away from the machine. Check the distance before installation rather than assuming the supplied hose will reach. Awkward plumbing layouts may need a longer inlet hose.
Strong is the better choice for jeans and heavier dirt, and Normal does fine for daily clothes and lighter loads. Very stubborn stains can still be there after one wash, though, and that's been a problem with the cleaning performance.
The 780 rpm spin takes out a good amount of water. Spin Only gives you another quick round of water removal when you want it. For fully dry clothes you'd still need a separate dryer.
Not as far as the box contents go. It includes a manual and a quick start guide, but no installation demonstration is listed. Some buyers needed a proper setup explanation after delivery, so book the installation visit clearly and ask them to show the inlet, drain and controls.
