LG FHB1208Z4M 8 kg Front Load Price Comparison & History in India
Buy Now: LG Washer Hits Its Best Recent Price
At ₹36,490, Amazon's current price is close to this model's recent three-month low. LG FHB1208Z4M has reached its lowest recent level after climbing through September. That's only slightly above its tracked average. Across 381 tracked days, prices rose from ₹33,990, the all-time low on Amazon. So today's deal isn't the cheapest ever, but it's currently the best recent entry point. The price is about 7.4% above its record low. That gap matters if you can wait for major sale events. The LG FHB1208Z4M combines an inverter direct drive motor with hygiene steam. It also offers an 8kg capacity, making it practical for small families. LG FHB1208Z4M is a sensible pick for regular washing and lower noise. Still, the current price has not returned to its September starting level. A casual shopper may miss that recent prices climbed despite this small drop. The fall from September's peak is helpful, but doesn't erase the longer rise. Amazon remains the cheapest listed platform right now. LG FHB1208Z4M looks tempting today, especially if you need delivery soon. For flexible buyers, waiting could bring a better discount during major sale periods. It's a good recent deal, not the best historical bargain.

LG FHB1208Z4M 8 kg Front Load Features & Overview
Usage
For everyday laundry, the LG FHB1208Z4M delivers efficient cycles that finish with a quiet hum, thanks to the inverter direct drive motor. You can load up to 8 kg of clothes and still expect good water extraction. LG FHB1208Z4M 8 kg Front Load with a 10-year motor warranty boosts durability and value. The Hygiene Steam option addresses allergens, and the 10 wash programs cover Cotton, Delicates, Quick Wash and more, with the LED display guiding you through settings.
Capacity
With an 8 kg capacity, this front load washer is suited for family use. The Stainless Steel Drum and robust build offer long life and consistent performance cycle after cycle.
Controls
The control surface is a Touch Pad paired with an LED Display. You’ll feel a soft click when you select a cycle, and the zone responds quickly to your taps. The inverter motor keeps the sound discreet even on higher spin settings; you’ll notice the 1200 RPM spin finishing almost like a breeze.
Durability
Construction centers on a Stainless Steel Drum inside a steel body and a matte finish. The tempered glass door adds scratch resistance and clarity you appreciate each time you check progress.
Safety
Child Lock is built in so curious hands don’t tinker mid cycle. The door has a reassuring lock indicator and the auto restart helps recover from a momentary power blip.
Installation and Warranty
The LG FHB1208Z4M is a Freestanding model designed to stand on its own. It ships with an inlet hose and the owner manual and carries a 2 year on product + 10 years on motor warranty; the brand’s warranty guidance is available via the invoice and LG service channels.

LG FHB1208Z4M 8 kg Front Load FAQs
Quiet enough, yes. The direct drive motor keeps washing calm, and a balanced load means little vibration. Spin is another matter. The drum reaches 1200 RPM, so you'll hear it. Still far calmer than an old top-loader.
Honestly, yes. A family of four can get through the week without daily small loads, as long as the heavy clothes aren't crammed in. Big loads need a bit of room to move.
Yes, drying time drops. The spin pulls out more water first, which helps most with cottons and towels. Don't expect dry clothes, though. It's a washing machine, not a dryer.
It's good for clothes that need a more hygienic wash. Allergy Care and Baby Steam Care come with it, covering bedding, baby clothes and ordinary fabrics. A basic wash-only machine can't match that.
The panel responds quickly, and the LED display shows time left clearly. Learn the main programs and picking a cycle takes seconds. Changing something mid-cycle doesn't need the manual either.
Less than many top-loaders. The drum tumbles the clothes instead of filling right up, so you use less detergent too. In daily laundry you do notice the difference.
Samsung has more connected models at this size. LG keeps it plain: direct drive, steam programs and a 10-year motor warranty. If you don't want app controls, LG is the easier choice.
Bosch tends to be about solid wash programs and sturdy build. LG brings steam care, a higher 1200 RPM spin and a simpler touch panel. It suits a family that wants more wash options but isn't buying premium.
IFB has strong wash programs, and plenty of Indian homes use it. LG feels quieter, with direct drive and steam care. If low vibration matters in busy daily washing, go with LG.
Yes, overload the drum and it will shake in spin. Split a big pile into two loads. Spreading the clothes out properly inside keeps it much steadier too.
Not always. The inlet pipe is close to one metre, so some tap setups are out of reach, and longer inlet or outlet pipes may have to be bought separately. Check where the tap and drain are before you fix the machine in place.
It can take several days after delivery, mostly when technician scheduling is slow. Ring the installation contact yourself and you'll get a time sooner. Once the water and drain are connected, the machine is ready to use.
Best straight on a level floor. A weak or shifting stand makes it move more in spin. Anti-skid pads under the feet beat a flimsy size-changing stand.
Tub Clean runs the drum by itself, without clothes, and clears out detergent residue and trapped dirt. Do it regularly and you're not scrubbing the drum by hand every few washes.
Yes. Delicates, Wool, Hand/Wool and Easy Care handle the softer fabrics. Pick the matching cycle instead of defaulting to Cotton or Intensive Wash. Lower agitation is kinder to clothes that stretch or snag.
Real & Verified Reviews of LG FHB1208Z4M 8 kg Front Load

Decent Machine.
Nice machine with nearly no vibration and low sound. Installation was done on day of delivery by the company. Ijust contacted the company for installation. Water consumption is also less than top loaders. And Machine is Easy to operate. And looks premium only thing which I don't like the rat protection mesh the company can provide it made of hard plastic or of any hard material or factory installed, apart from that every thing is fantastic. For those who are thinking for installing it on stand try to buy sturdy and unibody type stand don't opt for size shifters. I loss 1k on that and best condition is to use machine without stand it will give best possible stability cause stability is very important for front loaders. And I even try cup base stand but nothing will work as sturdy as machine will be without stand you can use any anti skid tapes below the legs of machine. Lg provide two small stickers in the box which are more than enough for machine. But if you want for all four you can buy it separately. And also take care of fitting for tap sometimes it don't fit on the tap you want so also keep that in mind before buying and you have to buy an outlet and inlet pipes separately cause company provided are too small only 1mtr nearly or slightly long.

Amazon Service Excellent | LG Machine Excellent | LG Installation Service Poor
I purchased this LG 8 Kg Front Load Washing Machine from Amazon. The machine itself is excellent — premium build quality, quiet operation, good wash performance, and LG's Direct Drive technology works really well. LG is a trusted brand, and the product quality matches its reputation. However, my experience with LG's installation service was disappointing. Even after waiting 4–5 days, no technician came for installation. Repeated follow-ups did not help. The best part was Amazon's customer support. When LG failed to provide timely installation, Amazon immediately offered a solution and told me to get the installation done locally. They assured me that the installation charges would be refunded, which shows how seriously Amazon takes customer satisfaction. Pros: ✅ Excellent washing machine ✅ Premium quality and features ✅ Quiet operation ✅ Fast Amazon customer support Cons: ❌ Very poor LG installation service ❌ Long waiting time for technician visit Overall, I highly recommend both the machine and Amazon. The product is excellent, but LG really needs to improve its after-sales service and installation support. Rating: LG Washing Machine: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazon Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ LG Installation Service: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Thank you, Amazon, for resolving the issue quickly. 🙏

Amazon
pathetic after-sales service
Extremely pathetic after-sales service from LG! For a brand of LG’s size and reputation, the level of service is absolutely unacceptable. Customers are forced to make multiple follow-ups just to get a service person to visit. Even after repeated calls, the technician doesn’t turn up on the same day, leaving customers waiting indefinitely. What is the point of buying from a reputed brand if the company cannot provide basic and timely after-sales support? This is not just poor service—it shows a complete lack of respect for the customer’s time and inconvenience. LG seriously needs to improve its service standards and accountability. Very disappointing experience!

Received the delivery on time and without any damage on 19th Oct 2025 . Most of the time I have used it for the 30 min cycle , with minimal load as per manual . Suggest splitting the load if there are many cloths to wash , rather than washing all in one go . Excessive load will make the machine vibrate during spin cycles . Water consumption is also low as compared to top load and subsequently as less water is needed the quantity of detergent required also reduces . Overall an ideal machine for a family of four if used judicially. Don't expect it to be very silent as there r moving parts so will hear a slight amount of noise during spin cycle , but not as much as compared to older front load or top load machines . Lg customer will send a WhatsApp of contact details of technitian for installation of the machine do call him to confirm the timing , otherwise he will take his own sweettime
