Midea WM 9.5kg Top Load Price Comparison & History in India
Buy Now: This Midea Washer Is Near Its Best Price
At ₹10,890 on Amazon, this Midea washer is sitting at its lowest recent level. The current price is at the lowest point recorded during the latest three months. It’s also below the ₹11,544 average across 381 tracked days. This Midea model has fallen from higher levels, then held near this range. Prices were recorded on eight dates, covering more than a year. Amazon was cheapest on every recorded date, giving shoppers one clear place to check. The Midea WM 9.5 Kilograms semi-automatic washer suits families needing more wash capacity.
A casual shopper might miss that today’s price is close to its all-time low. That low was ₹9,990 on Amazon, so the gap remains small. The difference from the average is meaningful, especially for a semi-automatic machine. Check delivery, seller ratings, and warranty before placing the order. Those details can change the final value more than small price movements. Don't expect huge savings by waiting for a normal day. The Midea WM 9.5 Kilograms model isn't at its absolute lowest. Still, its recent pricing has stayed favorable, and this is the best recent entry point. Buyers needing a washer soon won't gain much from waiting.

Midea WM 9.5kg Top Load Features & Overview
For everyday laundry tasks, the Midea WM offers a practical balance of capacity and simplicity. It is a compact top load semi automatic machine with a matte finish in Black White, designed to fit smaller utility spaces while still handling a solid 9.5 Kilograms load. Midea WM 9.5kg Top Load offers Large capacity for big families and heavy loads. You will notice that loading is straightforward, and cycles like Heavy Duty, Normal, Prewash, Rinse, and Spin feel clearly separated on the push button panel. The water intake and wash action are gentle but effective, and you can see the drum rotate with a reassuring rhythm. The End Of Cycle Signal gives a quiet alert once the rinse finishes, and the Reload Function is handy if you spot a stray item after the cycle has started.
Capacity
The 9.5 Kilograms capacity supports a typical family load, balancing wash size with water and power use. It is not oversized, but you will still get through everyday sheets and outfits in fewer cycles than you expect. The plastic drum is light and easy to inspect during loading and unloading, while the matte finish resists fingerprints on busy mornings.
Controls
Controls are Push Button and deliberately simple to operate. Each press gives a tactile, almost soft-click feedback, and you can quickly set a cycle or adjust timing without second guessing. The control layout keeps essential options within reach, and the End Of Cycle Signal provides a gentle cue without being obtrusive.
Durability
Durability features include Thermal Protection Technology that guards the motor during longer runs and IPX4 protection to handle splashes in humid environments. The Magic Filter catches lint and hair, helping the drum stay cleaner longer and reducing blockages.
Safety
Safety minded design shows in predictable operation and stable performance across voltage fluctuations. The 230 Volts supply is a straightforward requirement, and the basic splash guard strategies keep surrounding areas drier during washing.
Installation and Warranty
Setup is simplified by including the Drain Hose, Fill Hose, and Power Cord. Midea offers a 2 Year Manufacturer warranty to cover manufacturing defects and provide peace of mind for everyday use. The unit is shipped as a single 1 Count item and is intended for India with standard top load installation.
Midea WM 9.5kg Top Load Technical Specifications
Midea WM 9.5kg Top Load FAQs
The pulsator wash system handles regular clothes, towels, and everyday family laundry well. Strong and Heavy Duty modes are there for dirtier loads. The 9.5 kg tub fits a typical family's washing in one go.
Yes, 9.5 kg is enough for a fairly large household's weekly clothes and towels. It reduces the need to split normal laundry into several smaller loads. Bulky blankets will still take up most of the tub.
Midea WM uses a regular motor, not inverter technology. It runs on AC 230V and carries a 5-star power rating. The 1300 RPM spin speed removes a good amount of water before drying.
The controls are straightforward knobs with no app or digital menu to figure out. Normal, Strong, Gentle, Prewash, Rinse, and Spin modes cover the usual laundry needs. The end-of-cycle signal also tells you when the machine has finished.
The transparent window lets you see the clothes while the wash is running. That helps check whether the load is moving properly without opening the lid. It also makes it easier to notice an overloaded tub early.
Midea WM gives you a larger 9.5 kg capacity with basic knob controls and separate wash programmes. It has no inverter motor, app control, or smart diagnostics. LG models with those extras will feel more modern, while this keeps the operation simple.
For family laundry, the 9.5 kg capacity is the main advantage here. Midea WM stays basic with a pulsator system, manual-style controls, and no connected features. Samsung models with different capacities or programmes need to be checked separately before choosing.
Midea WM offers Heavy Duty, Strong, Gentle, and Quick Wash options in a 9.5 kg top-load format. Its 1300 RPM spin speed is useful when clothes need less drying time. Whirlpool machines may use different wash layouts, so the programme list matters more than the brand name.
A shutdown during the wash cycle has been reported with this model. That stops the load before washing or spinning is complete and needs attention before the next cycle. Thermal protection is included, but a repeated shutdown is not normal operation.
The filter mesh can come loose during washing and create a disturbing noise. That is a real maintenance issue because the loose part can keep hitting the tub. Check the filter before running another load if the sound starts suddenly.
A serious complaint describes smoke and a burning smell from both washer and dryer motors after around two months. That is a safety problem, not a small operating issue. Stop using the machine if smoke or a burning smell appears and contact the service team.
The top-load design measures 830 mm wide and 560 mm deep, so it fits better than many full-size front-load machines. Its 25.5 kg weight also makes positioning easier during setup. Leave enough room around the sides for hoses and lid movement.
The box includes a fill hose, drain hose, and power cord. That covers the basic parts needed for getting the machine connected. The setup still needs a suitable AC 230V socket and a proper water drainage point.
Yes, it has separate washing and spinning functions for handling the load. You can wash clothes first and then move them to the spin section. Quick Wash is available when a normal load does not need a long cycle.
The machine has IPX4 splash protection for humid laundry spaces. Thermal protection is also included around the motor system. Keep direct water spray away from the controls and power connection.

I am writing this review out of sheer frustration with both Midea’s product quality and their absolutely abysmal after-sales service in Chennai. If you are thinking of buying a Midea washing machine, save your hard-earned money and look elsewhere. The Product Failure: Smoke from Day 60 I bought this semi-automatic machine in March 2026. Within just two months of normal household use, the machine became a literal safety hazard. Both the washer motor and the dryer motor started emitting heavy smoke and a burning smell mid-cycle. For a brand-new appliance's entire motorized system to melt down in 60 days is proof of incredibly cheap build quality and zero quality control. The Service Nightmare & Gaslighting The product failure is only half the story; the service standard in Chennai is shocking. When the technician finally arrived, instead of diagnosing the technical fault, he immediately tried to gaslight me. He openly blamed me for the breakdown, aggressively claiming I must have done something wrong to cause the motors to smoke. Let me be clear: I have been using semi-automatic washing machines for years during my time living in PGs. I know exactly how to load, balance, and operate these machines. I have never experienced a motor meltdown, let alone a technician who tries to shift the blame onto the customer to avoid honoring a warranty. Current Status: Ghosted by Service Team It has now been two full weeks since the issue was reported. The machine is sitting useless, and the service person is actively dodging my calls and refusing to pick up. Midea's customer care hotline has been equally useless, offering nothing but generic automated responses while providing zero actual resolution. Final Verdict: DO NOT BUY This has been the worst appliance experience and the most disrespectful customer service I have ever encountered. Midea Chennai has completely abandoned its customer post-purchase. Reliability: 0/5 Customer Service: 0/5 Safety: 0/5 (Fire hazard) Avoid Midea at all costs unless you want to spend your weeks chasing down service technicians who blame you for their defective products.
