Really good and really impressed with the phone. My previous phone was a Moto G72, which got spoiled due to water damage, so I was forced to buy a new one. After a week of searching for a good phone and going through lots of reviews and videos, my final choices—slightly over my budget—were either the OnePlus Nord CE5 or the iQOO Neo 10R 5G. I decided to go with the Nord CE5 primarily because it offers 4 years of OS updates, 6 years of security support, and a lifetime warranty for display damage, that is for green line issues only, not for physical damage. I also liked its simple, understated, classy, iPhone-like design and the overall cost. While the iQOO Neo 10R definitely has better specs, it was way over my limited budget. I also didn’t like the look of its back cover, and its software and security support lasts only 3 years. Nord CE5 Review Camera: Good overall, with clear and decent pictures. Daytime photos are sharp, though the colors are a bit oversaturated. Photos look pleasing but slightly over-processed. Night photos are average. Speed and touch response: Excellent. OS: The best part of this phone is OxygenOS 15. Over the years I’ve used Android phones from Samsung, Redmi, and Motorola, but I never really felt much difference in their OS. This time, it feels completely different—smooth transitions, fluid animations, lots of optimization options, and very responsive performance. It even has a few iOS-inspired features, like the dynamic island option and a customizable calculator. The whole experience has felt really good, and it’s made me a huge OnePlus fan. Sound: The mono speaker is a definite downgrade compared to the stereo speakers on my previous Moto G72. Extras: No added costs. It comes with a high-quality phone case, an 80W charger with cable, and a pre-applied thin plastic screen protector. The only extra I’ll need to buy is a tempered glass screen guard. Edit – Battery After using the phone for more than a month, the battery on a full charge lasts close to two days with moderate use. I don’t game, but I regularly browse the internet and use it as a personal hotspot for a couple of hours while working. There were some battery drain issues during the first two weeks, but OnePlus released a couple of updates that seem to have solved the problem.

aight it's been 3 months since i bought this phone and used it heavily and productively as well. let me just get to the important stuff yes the battery is amazing, it will easily last you a day, i get like 7 hour sot when i do 20-80% so with 100% ohh boy 1.5 day ezzz for sure now the worse part is the damm camera, the sensors can def capture some amazing shot but oneplus post processing ruins everything lol it's okaayisshhhh about heating issue I didn't faced any, i mean yea there will some heat while charging cause you're charging at crazy speed yk. overall it's an amazing phone, oxygen os makes it super smooth for you, haven't faced any lag yet only when i click some pics and instantly go to the gallery to check lol but that's just how oneplus terrible post processing is!

This is my first OnePlus phone. I was considering several options under ₹25K but finally settled on the CE5, mainly because of its large battery, smooth software experience, long-term software support, and solid hardware specs. After using the Poco F1 and then the Xiaomi 11X, I learned that no matter how good the hardware is, buggy software can ruin the overall experience. My Xiaomi 11X still has capable hardware (SD 870 processor, UFS 3.1 storage, etc.), but frequent lags and freezes due to poor software made it frustrating to use. After 4 years of use, I had planned to keep using it for another year before upgrading, but the display’s touch function suddenly stopped working. Given my poor experience with duplicate screens in the past, I didn’t see any point in repairing it. For my next phone, my top priority was clean, stable software with long-term support — even if it meant compromising slightly on hardware specs. That narrowed my choice to Samsung, Motorola, and OnePlus. I ruled out Samsung due to the lack of a charger and slow charging speeds, and Motorola for using older storage tech (UFS 2.2) and a less powerful processor. I went with the OnePlus CE5. The phone has a minimal and premium look, and the software experience has been excellent and smooth so far, there so much to customize. The camera isn’t my main priority, but it’s decent — not great. The massive 7100 mAh battery gives me about 1.5 days of light usage. Still, I’ve seen better backup from other phones with similar-sized batteries, so I’m not sure if the slightly lower efficiency is due to the software or the MediaTek processor. The AI features are interesting, and I’m still exploring them. The processor is powerful, though I don’t play games, so I haven’t pushed it to its limits. The display is good, but I don’t see any major improvements over my Mi 11X display, except for the Aqua Touch function. No issue in any type of connectivity but wish there should be NFC! Haven't face any heating issue except charging. Coming to cons - Single speaker — though I’ve read this is to make room for the larger battery, room for improvements in Camera and battery backup.
