TCL 55T8C 55 Inch QLED TV Price Comparison & History in India
Wait Before Buying This TCL 55T8C TV
It’s now ₹45,990 on Amazon for TCL 55T8C 55-inch QLED TV. That’s the highest recorded price across 302 tracked days. The average sits at ₹39,490, making today’s tag about 16% higher. The lowest recorded price was ₹34,990, also on Amazon. Prices rose steadily after September, with only brief falls along the way. That upward pattern makes this a poor entry point for most shoppers.
Even recent months haven’t brought a meaningful return to earlier pricing. Amazon is the cheapest platform right now because it’s the only listed seller. The TCL 55T8C still offers QLED colour, HDR10+, and Google TV for everyday viewing. Those features are useful, but they don’t justify paying well above its history. A casual shopper might miss the model’s clear price climb since the first listing. Older pricing suggests patience could save several thousand rupees. Check warranty terms and seller ratings, but price is the main concern here. Unless you need a TV immediately, waiting for a sale makes more sense.

TCL 55T8C 55 Inch QLED TV FAQs
TCL 55T8C has clear speakers with decent bass, so regular TV watching doesn't need a soundbar. Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X add some width to films and shows. Music still lacks the punchy bass of a proper sound system.
The remote uses two AAA batteries and supports Bluetooth as well as IR. Bluetooth response works from different angles, so pointing directly at the screen isn't always needed. The buttons feel responsive during app and menu use.
The 178-degree viewing angle keeps the picture watchable from side seats. Colours stay fairly bold when the room has people spread across a sofa. Centre viewing still gives the best look for films.
The rear speaker sits in the middle, so a movable wall mount isn't suitable. Use the supplied stand or a fixed wall mount instead. Check the mounting plan before installation.
TCL 55T8C runs Google TV, while LG QLED models use WebOS. TCL also gives you QLED colour, HDR formats, and a 120Hz panel for smoother motion. Pick TCL if Google TV and fast movement matter more than staying with WebOS.
Sony Bravia still has the more refined picture for movie watching. TCL 55T8C counters with QLED colour, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and a 120Hz panel. Pick TCL when you want strong movie playback plus smoother sports and gaming.
Compared with Samsung Crystal 4K models, TCL gives you a 120Hz panel, ALLM, Game Master, and QLED colour. That makes TCL the stronger pick for sports and console gaming. For basic 4K channels and streaming, those extra gaming features won't matter as much.
The 120Hz panel, ALLM, and Game Master make fast console games look smooth. Motion Clarity Pro helps reduce blur during quick camera movement. Use the HDMI port that supports your console's required refresh rate.
Apps open quickly because the quad-core processor and 3GB RAM keep menus responsive. Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and other common apps are already available. Switching between menus and streaming apps feels quick.
The 120Hz HDMI port also works as the eARC port. That gets awkward if a soundbar needs eARC while a console needs the high-refresh connection. You may end up using the remaining HDMI ports for other devices.
A login glitch can sign the Google account out again after setup. The TV itself stays fast, but repeated sign-ins become irritating when you open apps. It is a software nuisance, not a slow hardware problem.
Installation can be quick when the appointment happens on time. Service scheduling has also caused long waits and cancelled appointments. Keep time aside on delivery day instead of expecting the visit to run exactly to plan.
4K resolution on the screen can't sharpen a low-quality YouTube upload. High-quality 4K streams look much better, while compressed clips can look soft. Check the playback quality before blaming the panel.
Google Assistant voice search works from the remote for apps, shows, and basic commands. The remote has internet access and responds quickly while moving through Google TV. It saves time compared with typing long titles.
Real & Verified Reviews of TCL 55T8C 55 Inch QLED TV
Best Value-for-Money TV with Reliable Warranty
I recently purchased the TCL 55T8C and the overall experience has been really good so far. The picture quality is impressive, especially with the **Filmmaker Mode** — colors and clarity look very natural and cinematic. Other picture modes are also well tuned for different types of content like OTT, YouTube, and cable TV. The built-in speaker quality is surprisingly good for a TV in this range. It has decent bass and clear audio, so for normal usage there’s no immediate need for an external sound system. One interesting feature is the **Bluetooth remote**, which feels responsive and works well from different angles. Just needs to be handled carefully. The TV performance is smooth with good operational speed while opening apps, switching between menus, and streaming content. Google TV interface also feels fast and user-friendly. Overall, it feels like a solid value-for-money TV with good picture quality, sound, and smart features.

Purchased this month and received it on Friday and got this installed today. I was skeptical about purchasing this TV after reading a lot of negative reviews but yet I choose to buy this as the configuration is superb in this price range with 122Hz refresh rate and good memory. Day 1 reviews: Picture quality- 4.8/5 It’s a 75 inches TV and If you watch NETFLIX content, it looks really good in 4K. Pictures quality of other apps are good. If you’re watching YouTube you might find videos unclear probably due to quality of video itself , cannot blame TV for this. If you are watching cricket, the white ball looks clear. Default screen brightness is too high but there a modes you can adjust and it’s quite good. Sound - 4.5/5 The sound is clear, in my Hisense 55” tv the sound wasn’t clear many times had to switch off fans to listen but in this tv SOUND is very clear but at 100 sound is not very loud but decent enough , I’ll give one star up for sound clarity. Google TV is very fast , takes seconds in app launch and installation. TCL has many live channels as well. Installation- 4.7/5 The installation was smooth, I got the service details and as per date it is installed. I really got scared by reading reviews but luckily I didn’t face it. Installation charges I paid for the tv angle was 2250 INR. Hoping for good and long lasting performance. Today is just day 1, I’ll update it in next few couple of weeks. 20th October There’s a login issue, keep logging out again from the TV, it’s a software glitch , I hope they fix it. Picture quality is same as I mentioned.

Got this 55 inch TV during republic day sale at effective price of ₹30500 post CC offers. First delivery was a scam - was given a 8 year old used TV in a new box - thankfully it was an open box delivery so rejected it Had to place a new order to get this TV Product review as below 1) Sound - good speakers for a TV. The subwoofer does make it presence felt - but do not expect any punch bass for music - it's there just to do the job, not a soundbar replacement 2) Picture quality - the picture is good and the 60 hz refresh rate does make the visuals quite pleasing to watch The brightness does require some improvement especially in HDR scenes - it's not that great but nothing great to mention about 3) Connectivity - it has USB 3.0, HDMI - eARC/ regular, Optical The 120 hz HDMI port also acts as the eARC one - quite a bummer for me as I'm using that port for my JBL soundbar. So essentially you're left with the 60hz port for other inputs 4) Apps - most of the regular apps are pre installed - Netflix/YouTube/prime etc 5) Installation - managed by Amazon at the time of delivery - was quick and hassle free. TV setup also was quick 6) Remote - the remote is easy to use and quite responsive - ok Google works seamlessly
Best features in good budget
I'm very happy with my TCL TV. The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, with excellent colors and clarity. The sound quality is also impressive, and the smart TV interface is smooth and easy to use. Streaming apps work flawlessly, and the overall performance is fast. It offers great value for money and is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a feature-rich TV at an affordable price. Highly recommended!
Nice
Nice product. I bought this TV after long research. Had to huy something good at an reasonable price but not compromising on the quality of picture and features. No issue observed till now.
Much better than LG
After one month of use. TCL scores points in all features. Picture quality is honestly not as good as Sony, but it’s very much worth the price. Sound quality is good, no need to use a sound bar, unless you need a theatrical experience. Brightness/Display has diff levels. Good for the eyes as well. Software is fast, the apps are uploaded without any glitch. I have used LG, so I can say that the OS is much better than WebOS. Build quality is premium. The delivery was immediate and smooth. 4 stars given coz installation experience was absolutely pathetic, I wasted days sitting at home. Everytime we had to wait the whole day and the appointment given would be cancelled. Horrible experience.
Genuine review
I purchased the TCL T8C 55-inch TV about a week ago, and honestly, it has exceeded my expectations for the price point. If you're looking for a budget-friendly TV with strong performance, this one deserves serious consideration. ⭐ Pros 1. Excellent 4K & HDR Performance When streaming 4K or HDR content on YouTube, even on the Standard picture mode, the visuals look stunning. The clarity, brightness, and color reproduction stand out impressively for this price range. 2. Smooth User Interface The UI feels quick and responsive. The 3GB RAM makes navigation snappy, apps open fast, and multitasking is handled well. 3. Great Value for Money Given the overall performance, features, and display quality, the TCL T8C delivers excellent value at its price. 4. Surprisingly Good Built-in Speakers The built-in speakers perform quite well. While they won't replace a home theatre experience, they are definitely better than what you normally get in TVs in this segment. ⚠️ Cons 1. Upscaling Needs Improvement For apps like SonyLIV, where sports often stream at 1080p, the TV's upscaling to 4K isn’t the best. Colors tend to scatter and appear inconsistent, especially during fast movements. Verdict If your primary use is 4K streaming, movies, and general entertainment, the TCL T8C 55" is a fantastic option in the budget category. Upscaling could be better, but overall performance, smooth UI, great speakers, and excellent value make it a solid purchase.
