Sony K55S30B 55 Inch LED TV Price Comparison & History in India
Buy Now: Sony 55-Inch TV Hits Its Three-Month Low
At ₹74,990 on Amazon, Sony's 55-inch 4K LED TV sits at its three-month low. That's about 3.8% above its tracked average of ₹72,276. The lowest recorded price was ₹67,990 on Amazon. The price history covers 402 days, from July 2025 through August 2026. Across seven recorded checks, it fell after July, then held near its lower range. It later climbed, reaching its highest tracked level in April. The recent movement makes today's price look better than its recent peak. Casual shoppers may miss this: the three-month low comes from only one recent check.
Sony 55-inch 4K LED TV pricing has been uneven, with a sharp rise after February. Amazon was cheapest throughout every recorded entry here. That makes the buying choice simple today. Google TV adds easy app access and voice search for everyday use. The 55-inch size suits most living rooms, but viewing distance still matters. If you don't need a television immediately, monitor the next major sale. A deeper cut could bring this model closer to its best historical result. For urgent buyers, the current price avoids paying the recent peak. That balance keeps the Sony 55-inch 4K LED TV reasonable, but not exceptional.

Sony K55S30B 55 Inch LED TV Features & Overview
Usage
When you switch this TV on, the 55 inch 4K LED panel delivers strong clarity and a balanced color tone. Sony K55S30B 55 Inch LED TV AI-evaluated quality with Google TV. The Google TV experience feels familiar and responsive for everyday streaming, and the built in Chromecast Built In makes casting from a phone quick and reliable. In mixed living room lighting the display holds up well thanks to a peak brightness around 410 nit, so you don’t lose detail in bright scenes. The wide 178 Degree viewing angle helps everyone in the room get a good view, not just the person directly in front. You’ll notice the gloss finish catching reflections, which is perfectly fine most evenings but you do learn to angle the screen slightly for glare you didn’t expect.
Capacity
This is a 55 inch LED TV with 4K Ultra HD detail and a suite of picture enhancements such as the 4K HDR Processor X1 and Triluminos PRO for more natural colors. It supports content up to Dolby Vision and is ready for immersive sound with Dolby Atmos when paired with compatible sources. You’ll find 4 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports for a set top box, Blu ray player, gaming console, external drive, or soundbar. The device draws about 213 Watts in use, and you’ll sense it on your power bill only when you crank up the brightness. The Box Contents include the TV, warranty card, AC power cord, Eco Remote, quick setup guide and two AAA batteries for the remote.
Controls
Operation centers on a Remote that uses both IR and Bluetooth. The Google TV platform supports voice search through the built in mic and integrates with the Apple AirPlay and HomeKit ecosystem, plus Alexa compatibility. The remote’s button layout offers a tactile, satisfying click, and setup steps are straightforward with the included Quick Setup Guide.
Durability
Sony backs this TV with a 1 year warranty and a robust build typical of consumer electronics in this class. The device weight around 15.4 Kilograms makes it solid on a stand or wall mount. The screen finish is Glossy, which contributes to vivid images but can reflect bright lights; in normal living room use, you’ll hardly notice once you’re immersed in content.
Safety
This model is not water resistant and is intended for indoor use. It includes features such as Standby power shutoff to minimize energy use when not actively in use. The product includes a comprehensive warranty and clear service channels for support.
Installation / Warranty
It supports both Wall Mount and Table Mount options, with a VESA 300 x 300 mm pattern for compatible mounts. The 1 Year comprehensive warranty covers manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. For service, follow the brand’s guidance and refer to the model name and seller details on your receipt.

Sony K55S30B 55 Inch LED TV FAQs
BRAVIA 3's 20W two-channel speakers sound clear for regular films and shows. Dolby Audio and Dolby Atmos add some width, but they won't replace a proper soundbar in a large room. For everyday television, the built-in sound is better than merely serviceable.
The voice remote uses two AAA batteries. The box includes the batteries, so it works from setup without a separate purchase. Google Assistant functions need an internet connection.
Running consumption is listed at 213W, which is fairly high for a 55-inch TV. Standby drops to 0.5W. Homes with long daily viewing should keep the running figure in mind.
The stated 178-degree viewing angle helps family members sitting across a wide sofa. Side seats get a usable picture instead of looking washed out immediately. The main viewing spot still gets the best contrast and colour.
Wall or table placement is covered in the box, with a table stand and wall mount included. The 55-inch panel weighs 15.4kg without the stand, so wall mounting needs a sturdy mounting point. Its black body suits most living-room setups without pulling attention away from the screen.
BRAVIA 3 is the stronger pick for natural colours and processing of mixed-quality content. Samsung Crystal 4K is the main alternative, but this Sony brings Dolby Vision, Triluminos PRO and 4K HDR Processor X1. Pick Sony if movie playback matters more than brand familiarity.
BRAVIA 3 brings Google TV, AirPlay and HomeKit in one set. LG UT80 is worth considering if you already prefer LG's interface, but Sony has the broader mix for Android and Apple homes. For streaming across different phones, Sony is the easier pick.
BRAVIA 3 is the picture-first pick because of 4K X Reality PRO, Triluminos PRO and Dolby Vision. TCL C655 is another option, but Sony's processing suits mixed-quality cable and streaming content better. Pick Sony for films and regular television rather than chasing a longer specification list.
4K X Reality PRO cleans up HD channels and older video sources nicely. It doesn't turn soft footage into native 4K, but faces and text look less rough on the 55-inch screen. Streaming 4K content still shows the panel at its best.
Built-in Chromecast handles Android casting, while AirPlay 2 covers iPhone and Apple devices. The TV also supports screen mirroring from compatible phones and tablets. No extra dongle is needed for normal Google Cast or AirPlay use.
Google TV has direct access to Netflix, YouTube, Hotstar and Prime Video. The home screen keeps these streaming apps together instead of making you switch inputs. Google Assistant search also cuts down the typing needed for long titles.
The 60Hz panel works well for regular console gaming and includes a Game picture mode. Four HDMI 2.1 ports give a PS5 or Xbox enough connection space for other devices too. It isn't the right pick if 4K 120Hz gaming is your main reason for upgrading.
The glossy screen catches reflections from windows and room lights. Keep it away from direct light or place the main seating opposite the screen. In a bright living room, glare can become more irritating than the 410-nit brightness helps.
Voice search works through Google Assistant and is quicker for long movie titles than tapping them letter by letter. The remote needs two AAA batteries and an internet connection for its smart functions. Regular buttons still handle volume, input and navigation.
There is a slight delay before BRAVIA 3 fully starts up. Once Google TV loads, navigation and streaming work normally. People expecting instant screen-on will notice the wait.
The warranty lasts one year, and one serious complaint involved a motherboard failure around 1.5 years later. The quoted replacement cost was ₹15,000, so out-of-warranty repairs are the biggest concern here. That issue matters more if you plan to keep the TV for many years.
Real & Verified Reviews of Sony K55S30B 55 Inch LED TV
Excellent. Sony is Sony, no compromise.
Excellent quality as expected from Sony. Writing after more than two years of purchase. Using it with home theater and enjoying pictures and sound. Full theater experience. Good that I finally bought 65 inch TV because of which we get true theatre experience. I got nice discount also through online purchase which was more than offline store.
Best Smart 4k TV at this price
The audio, video and product quality is top notch, the assembly was done pretty quickly the same day. It is a steal deal at this price. The new remote is pretty slick.
Superb
Great using since 2 years.Sound quality is good. Brightness and picture quality is adjustable. Overall value for money.
Great product
Sony TVs generally have excellent picture processing, natural colours, and motion handling. The main downside many people notice is the slightly longer startup time—once it’s on, though, the viewing experience is hard to beat.
Unacceptable quality – Avoid at any cost!
TV worked fine for the first 1.5 years, but suddenly died without warning. Since it only comes with a 1-year warranty, the technician informed me that the motherboard failed and the replacement will cost ₹15,000. We barely even used the TV maybe 1 to 2 hours a day at most. What is the point of paying a premium for a reputed brand like Sony if the product can't even last two years? This is actually my second bad experience; I previously bought a Sony music player that also developed hardware issues. It feels like Sony has completely lost its quality control. Meanwhile, we have a Samsung TV in our house that has been running perfectly for 15 years. I highly recommend avoiding Sony and looking into other, because you are paying premium, in return you are getting third quality product. Save your money.

Sony is the best.
Top notch tv, Sony is the best.
The best TV I've purchased so far.
Picture quality is amazing. The speakers are also great. Spending money on it was worth it. There's just one issue: glare from light on the screen. The buyer should keep in mind the place to mount it before purchasing.
