Hisense 85Q7N 85 Inch QLED TV Price Comparison & History in India
Buy if you need a huge screen now
At ₹134,999 on Amazon, this Hisense 85 Inch 4K QLED TV sits below its tracked average. Over 121 tracked days, the average reached ₹148,332, making today's price about 9% lower. Amazon's lowest recorded price was ₹129,999, so today's offer is close, but not the best. The price dropped heavily from July, then rose after October's low. That small rise doesn't change the overall picture; this remains a reasonable price. Still, larger televisions often see sharper discounts during major sale periods. Hisense 85 Inch 4K QLED TV prices have moved quickly before. Waiting could save money, but there's no clear sign of another immediate drop. Amazon is the cheapest tracked seller right now, based on the latest listing.
One easy detail: local dimming improves dark scenes, but OLED gives deeper blacks. That matters if you watch films at night, especially in a darker room. This Hisense 85 Inch 4K QLED TV also needs enough wall or cabinet space. Measure your room before ordering, because an 85-inch screen feels much larger than expected. Check delivery damage rules and installation support before paying. The giant size is the main reason to buy this model now. Picture quality is good for bright rooms, sports, and everyday streaming. It's less convincing for serious movie watching than a good OLED. For most shoppers, the current discount is fair, not exceptional. The Hisense 85 Inch 4K QLED TV is safe to buy if size matters most.
- 4K upscaling cleans up lower-resolution channels

The VIDAA OS keeps apps within reach, and the built in voice assistants Alexa and Vidaa Voice respond to quick prompts even from across the room.

The TV includes 8 GB memory storage, helping apps launch quickly and menus stay responsive. 4K AI upscaling improves lower resolution sources, so an older streaming title doesn’t feel out of place on the big screen.

Hisense 85Q7N 85 Inch QLED TV FAQs
The 50W 2.1 speakers are loud enough for regular films, shows, and sports. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X add some width, while voices stay clear at normal volume. A soundbar is mainly useful when you want heavier bass in a big room.
The anti-glare screen and 178-degree viewing angle help when people sit around the room. The 85-inch size feels great for films, sports, and split-screen gaming. Sit too close and it can feel overpowering.
It is 1,898mm wide and weighs 43.6kg without the stand, so the wall needs proper support. The dark grey finish looks understated rather than flashy. The box has table stands, while a wall setup needs separate planning.
LG QNED sets have a more polished smart interface. Q7N counters with an 85-inch 4K QLED panel, full-array local dimming, and 120Hz refresh. For a large movie room, Hisense puts more focus on screen size and contrast.
Samsung QLED TVs have a wider app ecosystem. Q7N has anti-glare treatment, local dimming, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for bright-room movie watching. Pick Hisense when picture formats matter more than a polished interface.
TCL's smart-TV software is friendlier. Q7N is the better pick for PS5 because it pairs HDMI 2.1 with a 120Hz panel. Four HDMI ports leave room for a console, soundbar, set-top box, and streaming stick.
VIDAA feels quick once the TV is set up. Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and JioHotstar open without much fuss, and the 8GB storage keeps menus responsive. Channel switching is also snappy during regular viewing.
The voice remote supports Alexa and Vidaa Voice, but it needs an internet connection. You can search for content and control basic TV functions without tapping through menus. It works best for quick searches, not detailed settings changes.
There are four HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB ports, optical audio, Ethernet, and Bluetooth 5. A console, soundbar, set-top box, and streaming stick can all stay connected. The single USB 3.0 port is useful for faster drive access.
AirPlay 2 handles iPhone, iPad, and Mac mirroring, while Screen Sharing covers Android devices. Laptop casting feels quick, with no obvious lag in the tested setup. It is useful when you want to show photos or a browser tab on the big screen.
Full-array local dimming gives dark scenes better separation from bright highlights. The 6000:1 contrast ratio helps the 4K panel look punchier in films and HDR shows. HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision cover the main HDR formats.
The 120Hz panel keeps camera pans and fast gameplay smoother than a 60Hz TV. The 8ms response time helps quick scenes look cleaner. HDMI 2.1 is ready for current consoles running high-frame-rate games.
This is built for people who want a cinema-sized screen at home. The 85-inch panel, Filmmaker mode, local dimming, and HDR support work well for movie nights. The 50W 2.1 audio can fill a large room before you add a soundbar.
Yes, VIDAA has fewer India-focused apps than Android TV. Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and JioHotstar are included, but several smaller services aren't. The available lineup doesn't list a VPN app.
A vertical line can lead to flickering and a failed panel, as one service case showed. The listed warranty is three years, but that repair complaint went two months without a response. The TV hardware is strong; after-sales support is the bigger worry.
The box includes two table stands, not a wall mount. A separate wall-mount installation can attract an extra charge, and the 43.6kg panel needs careful handling. Floor-standing setup is simpler if you don't want installation work.

Value For money
This TV offers excellent picture quality with vibrant colors and sharp 4K resolution. Sound is also clear .The smart features are intuitive, with a responsive interface but a limited app store due to the OS. Its sleek design and ample connectivity options are also strong points. it's a solid choice for those seeking a high-quality TV at a reasonable price. Would recommend, especially for casual viewers.
Really good value for money TV for entertainment and gaming
Update : Props to Vida team for listening to Indian customers and constantly improving on its features. A decent collection of Live TV channels and apps like spotify, xbox, airtel have been added. Writing this review after extensively using the TV and all the features since last month. Pros : * Native 120hz panel - NO OTHER brand gives a native 120hz panel at this price. * 2.1 Sound with Dolby Atmos packs a punch and delivers crisp audio in all scenarios. Bass and loudness is good enough. * 4k, HDR, Bright Panel with local dimming. Pictures are vibrant, crisp and there are lots of adjustment options. * Gaming options. Hdmi 2.1 for 4k@120fps gaming on PS5. Support for AMD freesync, ALLM and game bar is nice addition. Cons: * Limited experience on Vidaa OS due to lack of Indian region apps. Lacks optimisation as well. * Installation experience was not that great. I purchased a wall mount from Amazon but I had to pay extra to get it installed. The service guy tried to sell his own wall mount and wasn't too happy I bought one on my own lol. Overall, No major complaints, only suggestions. I hope to see more love from Hisense to its Indian customers.
Poor service and no use of warrenty
The TV is good but within 6 months it shows a small vertical line. We called the Hisense serviece to check since the TV was under warrenty. While serviece the TV started flickering and stopped working with a burn. As of today I was asked to pay an amount close to 75% of cost of TV for repair. Regarding warrenty claims, the only respmse i get is that thay are doing some discussion. Waiting for 2 months for a response related to this. Very bad serviece. We are feeling very bad for calling Hisense serviece for just a vertical line.
3 month review
Only thing that this tv lacked was the OS(not google/android). But after 3 months I think hisense own OS "Vida" is way faster, snappy. Casting your laptop or android phone has no lag. Also has airplay. Specs are near perfect [in Q3/2024]. Speakers 40wt is good enough. I rarely turn on my home theater unless I neeed that Booom in my living room. Sound is enough to fill a big indian living room. Only negative: google has more apps. Vida is adding apps but they need pick up some pace. They have all the basic apps you would need. You can run any video audio format via usb. No need to install video players. In jan 2025 these apps as available: Netflix, youtube, disneyplus, prime, sony, zee5, apply, crunchy roll, jio cinema, yupptv. Most of the other are not for India region. No VPN app that I could find. Conclusion: worth your money, perfect specs, needs more india based apps, no issues with PS5 or Ps4.
An impressive TV at this budget
I have been using this Hisense 65-inches Smart TV for a pretty good duration of time and am pretty impressed overall. It has really sharp picture quality, and the colors look particularly good. The smart features are also very smooth. Streaming apps run without any lag or obstruction. The interface is pretty easy to use. Sound quality could be improved, but in combination with a soundbar, it is fantastic. The price that it sells at offers an excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Have an 55 inch LG oled. Wanted 85 inches TV within 1.5lakhs for home theater room. I knew QLED wont be as puchy as the LG OLED. But, for for the price point the picture quality and the sound exceeded what I expected.Had to tune the beinghness and contrast a bit to my liking. Hope the panel lifespan is also good. Highly recommend. Btw, I do not use vidaa is but use my firetv stick 4k. Update 25 oct 2024: When Dolby vision videos are played in Netflix, there are light bleeds in top and botton with artifacts forming for some 10 seconds. It goes away after that and picture looks normal and it's really not an issue. Just wanted to keep others informed
