IFB Senator 8kg Front Load Price Comparison & History in India
Buy Now? This IFB Washer Is Fairly Priced
At ₹35,990 on Amazon, this IFB washer sits slightly above its ₹35,731 average. It’s been tracked for 381 days, and Amazon is cheapest right now. Prices rose through July, August, and September after touching Amazon’s historical low of ₹33,490. The latest fall is useful, but it hasn’t returned to that level.
A casual shopper may miss that this is a recent pullback, not a major bargain. The price held near the upper range for several months. That makes the IFB Senator MBN 8012 a fair buy for immediate needs. Its 8-kilogram capacity fits most four-member families. That matters more than small feature differences for most buyers. Front-load washing should also help reduce water use. Check installation, delivery, and warranty coverage before ordering. The mocha finish is attractive but shouldn’t justify paying extra. Recent movements have been uneven, so patience remains sensible. IFB Senator MBN 8012 makes sense when replacement is urgent. Otherwise, waiting for a sale gives you a better chance at a lower price.

IFB Senator 8kg Front Load FAQs
Mostly, yes. Normal washing is very quiet thanks to the Eco Inverter motor, with just a little vibration. Turn the spin up and it gets louder, but never harsh.
Blankets, bulky stuff, a whole family's clothes - the 8 kg drum copes with all of it. Clothes come out properly wrung after the 1200 RPM spin. Fewer, bigger washes suit it well.
Steam Refresh is good for something you wore once and want to freshen up, and it takes some of the wrinkles out before ironing. Proper stains? Run a full wash.
LG tends to win on a familiar app and wider service reach. But the IFB has a strong wash programme list, steam wash and a longer motor support period. Pick it if those count for more than the brand name.
If you already use Samsung appliances, theirs will feel easier to navigate. The IFB has the 8 kg drum, the 1200 RPM spin and a lot of fabric-specific programmes. App control also lets you watch the wash without standing by the machine.
Bosch has a name for a quieter, more restrained wash. IFB gives you more visible wash choices, steam cleaning and remote app control. For Indian family laundry with mixed fabrics, it feels more practical.
Yes - Wi-Fi and app control let you follow the cycle on your phone, so no walking over to check. The panel's time-left display also shows how long is left.
Liquid detergent or pods only. Powder shouldn't go in, because the detergent system is built around liquid options. Not a big deal once the right detergent is in the cupboard.
A very small load sits unevenly in the drum, so it shakes more. Put in a reasonably sized load and the machine stays steadier during the spin. And the higher spin is always louder than normal washing.
Depends on your power. It runs on 220 to 240 volts, so if your supply is unstable you may need one. The shock-proof protection doesn't fix an inconsistent supply, so check your home's voltage before installation.
Installation support is included. The box has the inlet pipe, drain hose, manual and warranty card. Get it levelled properly and daily use is simple.
Not with Child Lock on - it blocks unwanted button presses during a wash. The door lock also keeps the front door secured while the drum is running, which makes it safer around the laundry area.
Quite a lot of water comes out in the 1200 RPM spin. Clothes are properly wrung and dry faster on a clothesline. Thick bedding is slower than shirts and trousers.
Easy enough once you know the main programme names. The LCD clearly shows the selected cycle and remaining time. There are enough choices for daily clothes, baby wear, bedding and delicates.

Super Quiet, Efficient, and Powerful
I recently bought the IFB 8 Kg Senator MBN 8012 front-load washing machine, and it has exceeded my expectations. The 8 kg capacity is perfect for a family, easily handling large loads and bulky items like blankets. The Steam Refresh feature is fantastic for quickly de-wrinkling clothes I've only worn once, and the DeepClean AI technology does a wonderful job tackling tough stains without damaging fabrics. It operates very quietly thanks to the Eco Inverter motor, and the Wi-Fi connectivity makes it incredibly convenient to monitor cycles from my phone. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a premium, feature-rich washing machine!

Good Washing Machine
Overall, we are happy with the IFB washing machine. It is mostly very quiet during normal operation, with only a little vibration. During the higher spin cycle, there is some additional noise, which is understandable. We really like the app control, as we can control and monitor the wash cycle from start to finish. One concern is the 220–240V operating voltage, so depending on the power supply in your area, a stabilizer may be needed. With a very small load, we also noticed more vibration, so it works better with a reasonable amount of clothes. The Delhivery experience was disappointing. Delivery took much longer than expected, which was quite frustrating, especially for a large appliance. The machine is also energy efficient and uses less water (around 60 litres for a full wash in our experience). Overall, considering the features, performance, and convenience, it feels worth the money
