Samsung 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC Price Comparison & History in India
Wait Before Buying This Samsung AC
At ₹56,990 on Flipkart, this Samsung AC is far above its usual range. That’s the latest price after 459 days of tracking, and it’s the highest recorded. It’s more than double the all-time low of ₹27,790, also found on Flipkart. The tracked average sits at ₹34,171, putting today’s listing roughly 67% higher.
Samsung AR50F18D1LHNNA Mini-Split AC 1.5 Ton White with Digital Inverter has seen much better offers. Prices stayed fairly steady through most tracked dates, then rose sharply in the latest entry. A casual shopper might miss how much this model’s price changes between dates and sellers. Flipkart was cheapest during the recent low, but its current listing is now highest. Amazon’s earlier quote was far lower, though that offer is no longer current. The inverter can help running costs, but it doesn’t justify today’s level. Check installation charges, warranty coverage, and seller ratings before ordering. If you need cooling immediately, compare other Samsung listings and similar 1.5-ton models first. Samsung AR50F18D1LHNNA isn’t showing a normal sale price right now.

Samsung 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC Features & Overview
Usage
In practical terms, this 1.5 Ton mini split delivers quick cooling for a medium living space and keeps temperatures steady without a persistent loud hum. Samsung 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC has 5-step modes for room-load cooling and full specs. The Digital Inverter Compressor adapts to conditions, trimming power use when the room is already comfortable and ramping up when it isn’t. BESPOKE AI helps tune energy use, and the unit connects via Wi Fi for easier daily adjustments. It uses R32 refrigerant and a Copper condenser coil, which tends to mean fewer maintenance surprises over time. You don’t think about it until it rains outside and the sky changes—then you appreciate the quiet, measured performance.
Capacity
The model is specified at 1.5 Tons, aimed at spaces around 120 to 150 square feet. Samsung 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC with 5-Step Cooling. In real life you feel that quick zap of cool air when you switch it on, followed by more even distribution thanks to the 4 Way Swing. The cooling power is 4.4 Kilowatts, giving you a solid, dependable cooling footprint for daily use.
Controls
Control is flexible: App, Remote, Voice options cover most setups. The SmartThings app pairing is straightforward, and you can talk to it using Alexa, Google, or Bixby. It feels almost banal how often the remote finds its way back to the sofa after a quick setup, which is a small, comforting thing.
Durability
Durability comes from a Copper condenser coil and coated Copper tubes, plus features like Durafin Ultra for added rigidity. The AC works quietly at 53 dB, so it won’t disturb your sleep or conversations. An anti-bacterial filter keeps the air fresh and safe.
Safety
It comes with Auto Error Diagnosis and 3-Step Auto Clean, which makes cleaning and care easier. The unit uses R32 refrigerant, which is better for the environment.
Installation / Warranty
This is a split AC, so it needs both an indoor and outdoor unit. It also includes an extended warranty with extra cover for the inverter, giving long-term reliable use at home or in the office.

Samsung 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC FAQs
Samsung AC cools a medium room quickly, with Fast Cooling reaching comfort in around 15 minutes. The 1.5-ton capacity suits rooms up to roughly 160 square feet. Four-way swing spreads the airflow without making it feel too harsh.
The indoor unit stays quiet on low and medium fan speeds, around 53 dB. You can sleep comfortably without a constant loud hum beside you. Turbo and high fan modes are clearly more audible.
The listed annual consumption is 852.47 kWh under the rating test. Digital Inverter and AI energy mode reduce unnecessary compressor running during normal cooling. Three-star efficiency is decent, but it won't match a higher-rated AC for long daily use.
Four-way swing sends air up, down, left, and right across the room. That helps reach corners instead of keeping the cold air near the indoor unit. Fast Cooling also gets the room comfortable quickly during very hot afternoons.
The copper condenser coil and coated copper tubes are built for regular summer use. They also make the outdoor unit easier to service compared with some cheaper tubing setups. The unit uses R32 refrigerant and runs on a standard 230-volt connection.
Samsung gives you five-step convertible cooling, SmartThings control, and voice commands. LG 1.5-ton models usually focus more on their own app and cooling presets. Pick Samsung when remote control from your phone matters as much as basic cooling.
Samsung has stronger smart controls, with app, voice, and automatic error diagnosis built in. Voltas models are often chosen for straightforward remote-based cooling. Samsung is the better fit when you actually plan to use connected features.
Daikin is known for simple cooling controls and a strong service presence in many cities. Samsung adds AI energy mode, five convertible steps, and SmartThings tracking. The Samsung makes more sense for homes that want more controls than just a remote.
SmartThings connectivity can keep dropping, with the AC showing offline even after setup. The remote still works normally when the app refuses to connect. That takes away much of the benefit of buying a smart AC.
Voice control can handle basic commands when the AC is connected properly. You can change cooling settings without reaching for the remote. SmartThings connection problems can stop these commands from working when the unit goes offline.
Basic installation may not cover extra copper piping, stands, cable, or wall finishing. Installation charges have reached around ₹1,500 before GST, with add-ons pushing the total higher. Check the included pipe length before the technician starts work.
The AC includes five years of product warranty and ten years on the compressor. A PCB failure after a few months led to a disputed service experience and extra-charge claims. Keep the installation papers and warranty details ready before raising a service request.
The box lists a connecting wire, but a plug top may still need to be bought separately. One installation required an extra charge for the power cable and plug. Keep an electrician available if the existing socket is not suitable.
It starts quietly on low and medium settings, but sound can rise after about a year of use. High and Turbo fan modes are already audible from the beginning. Cleaning the filters and keeping the outdoor unit clear helps prevent extra strain.
Check the outdoor unit and every mounting part before installation is completed. A missing closing bracket can delay the final fitting or leave the outdoor section unfinished. Take photos during unboxing and raise the issue before the technician leaves.
Real & Verified Reviews of Samsung 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC
Nice product 1.5 ton Samsung AC
Cooling Performance: The cooling on this 1.5-ton unit is exceptional. Even during the peak of summer with outside temperatures hitting 40°C+, the "Fast Cooling" mode brought the room to a comfortable temperature in under 15 minutes. The airflow is wide and consistent, reaching every corner of the room without being too harsh. The "WindFree" mode (if applicable to your model) is a game-changer for sleeping, as it maintains the chill without blowing a direct cold draft. Installation & Service: I was particularly impressed with the service technician. The installation was scheduled promptly after delivery. The technician was professional, arrived with all the necessary tools (including a vacuum pump for proper gas line clearing), and took the time to explain the remote functions and the SmartThings app connectivity. They ensured the drainage was perfectly aligned and did a "Smart Install" check—an automated diagnostic that confirms the unit is running perfectly before they leave. Pros: Rapid Cooling: Powerful compressor that handles high heat easily. Silent Operation: The indoor unit is barely audible on low/medium settings. Professional Setup: Hassle-free and clean installation by the official service team. Energy Efficient: Noticeable savings compared to older non-inverter models. Cons: Standard installation covers the basics, but keep in mind that extra copper piping or stands will cost a bit more.
Note before buying this AC
It has smartthings app connectivity which will never work as expected or as per our needs. When i try to use this smartthings app It keeps on setting or it shows device is offline most of times. Also currently wifi symbol is mot displayed at all on AC .. which is a hectic experience of it.. I also use smart bulb which uses digitap app and works seamlessly. For small devices only there are apps that connect and work seamlessly. But when it comes it comes to this big electronics after spending this much amount and not having these minimum features of what they said in product details/description. After using this 1.5 ton AC for a year I write this review.. after multiple trials to use smarthings app .. thought to let someone save money to have good product rather than buying this.. also service is really pathetic.. every time service person visits during free service expect some amount .. says that some cloth wrap is needed around connecting pipes and claims amount for it evening though its not that necessary.. Overall AC works fine with direct remote which is same as old 90,s model AC with out any smart features.. Cooling is okay and sound is bit more after 1 year of use
Good ac but overinflated installation charges
AC is good but installation is pure rip off they use less material and charge more. 7545 is what they charged. Pure rip off don't know why samsung allows this
Fast Cooling, Silent Operation & Smart Features – Loved It!
I’ve been using this Samsung 1.5 ton AC for a while now, and overall it’s a solid purchase. Cooling is fast and effective, even during peak heat. The energy efficiency is decent, and it doesn’t spike the electricity bill much. The build quality feels premium, and the design looks modern. Noise levels are low, which makes it comfortable for both daytime and night use. Installation was smooth as well. One thing that could be improved is the app/connectivity (if using smart features), as it can sometimes be a bit slow. Overall, a reliable AC from Samsung—worth the investment for medium-sized rooms.
Good product with best features.
AC is perfectly working. Installation is perfect. Installation charges are high 1500 without GST and other charges including extra power cable ,plug top in my case sum upto 3250/- Daikin and hitachi charge only 699 for installation and other charges extra. Energy usage features, WiFi, AI integration are good. Fan speed is audible if set in turbo and high mode. Looks minimal. 3 star is value for money if just used for 2 months only in a year. I recommend this AC.
Bad Installation Experience
I am writing to express some concerns regarding the installation and performance of my air conditioning unit. Firstly, I have noticed that the cooling capacity is quite low, especially when the AC is set to auto mode. Additionally, I am facing an inconvenience whereby I have to change the mode back to Auto Mode every time I turn on the AC, as it does not start in the last used setting. This has been quite frustrating and affects the overall user experience. Moreover, I would like to address the installation experience I had. The technician initially refused to drill a hole because he believed there was a pillar in the way. Despite my insistence that it was just a wall, he remained unconvinced even after I arranged a video call with the previous mason who had constructed my window. Ultimately, he left to buy additional materials, and upon his return, I had taken the initiative to drill the hole myself, which went through easily. This situation was quite stressful, especially considering that I paid a total of 4700, along with an extra charge for a 5-foot copper wire.
Just satisfactory
Ac out door unit missing closing bracket.
