Panasonic 1.5 Ton CS/CU-SU18BKY3W Split Price Comparison & History in India
This Panasonic AC Is Fairly Priced Today
At ₹36,990 on Amazon, this Panasonic AC is priced fairly today. That’s only about 1.3% below its tracked average of ₹37,490. Prices were tracked for 162 days, with Amazon staying cheapest on every recorded date. The lowest recorded Amazon price was ₹35,990, so today’s gap is noticeable. Panasonic CS/CU-SU18BKY3W has mostly held within a narrow range. That makes the current offer reasonable for this model. It isn't an exceptional bargain. A casual shopper might miss the repeated returns to this model’s usual level.
After reaching higher prices, it fell back and held near this level. The 1.5-ton capacity suits a typical bedroom or medium-sized living room. Check installation charges, copper pipe length, and warranty terms carefully before paying. These extras can change the final value more than small price movements over time. Panasonic CS/CU-SU18BKY3W offers inverter efficiency and 17,402 BTU cooling. Still, the record suggests regular discounts are possible during sale periods. Panasonic CS/CU-SU18BKY3W is close to its recent low, but not at its best-ever price. Waiting could save a little, though the present Amazon deal isn't bad.

Panasonic 1.5 Ton CS/CU-SU18BKY3W Split FAQs
Cooling is one of the strongest points here. The 5.1kW capacity handles a 170-square-foot room easily, and it has also cooled larger rooms in hot conditions. Even at 26 degrees, the room gets comfortable without needing full power all the time.
The indoor unit stays very quiet during normal cooling and sleep mode. You mostly hear the outdoor unit, especially when it is installed close to a window or wall. Inside the room, the noise is around the level of a ceiling fan.
The listed annual consumption is 877.74 units under the rating test conditions. Its variable-speed compressor reduces output after the room reaches the set temperature. The 3 Star rating keeps running costs sensible, but it won't match a 5 Star model on electricity savings.
Convertible mode lets you run the AC at 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, or 90 percent capacity. That is useful when the room is cooler or fewer people are inside. You can switch to 100 percent or high capacity when the heat becomes difficult.
The app handles temperature, modes, timers, and remote control without much trouble. It also shows hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly electricity use. The profile option is less useful, but the main controls work from anywhere with Wi-Fi.
Voice control is supported along with the app and physical remote. Basic commands like switching on, changing temperature, and changing modes are available. The remote still has more direct controls when you are standing near the AC.
The PM0.1 filter and DustBuster system give the AC more air-cleaning hardware than a basic dust filter. They should help with fine particles while the unit is running. This model does not have a PM2.5 filter listed separately.
The copper coil and Eco-Tough outdoor casing are built for regular hot-weather use. It can operate at ambient temperatures up to 55 degrees Celsius. The coil is thinner than some people expect, but cooling performance remains strong.
Panasonic stands out here for the MirAIe app, eight capacity levels, and 5.1kW cooling output. LG models can be worth considering if your local service support is stronger for LG. For smart controls and strong cooling on paper, Panasonic has the better feature set.
This Panasonic gives you Wi-Fi, voice control, and electricity tracking as standard smart features. Voltas models often focus more on straightforward cooling and simpler controls. Pick Panasonic if app control matters more than keeping the setup basic.
Panasonic has the stronger smart-home angle with app, voice, and Matter support. Daikin is usually the safer shortlist for buyers who care mainly about brand service and straightforward operation. Panasonic makes more sense when remote control and power tracking are important.
The remote covers temperature, fan speed, modes, timer, and cleaning functions. The display light does not have its own button, so you need to hold the Clean button for around five seconds. The light can turn on again after switching the AC off and on.
A damaged outdoor box, leakage, or missing filter needs inspection before installation is accepted. One installation case involved no nitrogen pressure and a possible internal leak. Check the indoor unit, outdoor unit, and filter as soon as the package arrives.
The flap can occasionally stop halfway or fail to open and close properly from the remote. App commands have corrected the position in such cases. It is an irritating software issue, especially when the AC is working normally otherwise.
Yes, the 1.5-ton capacity and 5.1kW cooling output suit hot top-floor rooms well. It has handled rooms facing strong afternoon or evening heat without struggling. Use high-capacity mode first, then reduce the output once the room cools.
Real & Verified Reviews of Panasonic 1.5 Ton CS/CU-SU18BKY3W Split
Totally worth it!
Been 2 months since I got it. Absolutely worth it! I have an 16*11*10 cubic feet. Room on the top floor facing sourth-east. It gets really hot in the summers. Average temperature here is 36 and peak gets around 40+C. And this cools the room no matter how hot it gets. I went with the 3 star model instead of the 5 star since the cost to value wasn't as much with the 5 star and considering cost of electricity in my state. Paying 10k more for 5 star instead of 3 star would hardly make even within the next 13 years. I also picked the Ac model to check how much electricity it consumes while I use it. But sadly my location has severe electricity outage problem and the data is lost when it suddenly goes off so it hasn't been of much to me. Also apparently there are some cases where I think the software glitchs but the fans get stuck half open and doesn't fully open or close if I use the remote. But fortunately, using the inapp commands override the logic and it becomes fine again. The build quality - WHO CARES!? YOU GONNA SMASH IT? Cooling - 5 star! 10/10, getting 5100W cooling capacity and ISEER 4.5 rating for 32k!? That was a fantastic deal when hardly any other model gives around 5000W for around 40k Wifi option - could have been better but well it does its job. Except the profile option, everything else can be done directly through the remote as well (and quick note, the remote doesn't have a specific button for turning the AC's LED off. You have to press and hold the clean button for around 5 seconds to turn it off. And it also turns on again if you turn the AC on/off) Convertible - it has minimum 40% to upto 100% range with steps of 10. For those who don't know. It defines how much of its full capacity should the ac run on. Extremely useful for constant cooling if you have a door or window open. And if you have guest that keeping on coming in and going for. Remote - Has all the features that you could ask for. I think they use the same remote for all models? It even has some unmarked buttons that have no title and doesn't do anything either. Delivery and installation - This actually varies from location to location and people to people. Mine was delivered within 3 days of order and the installation guys came in about 2 days. Took around 4 hours to install. Service charge was 1400 but didn't clean up after leaving but meh... I didn't care. I wanna gonna clean my room anyway. What else is there? Oh yeah! Noise! 0 noode problem. The outdoor unit makes noise but its not like I can hear it from inside my room. But still if you have an openable window, install the outdoor unit a bit on the farther end. And the indoor unit is quiet. I can't even hear it until I try to actually notice it. Even if I run it on full capacity, its like at the level of the noise that a ceiling fan bought make. I can assure this that the noise is absolutely not noticeable enough to be a problem but if itsstrong enough to annoy you, you either have you head too close to the ac like having your bed and head direct underneath the ac or your unit is faulty. Return it or exchange it. Although I don't think even then it's be enough to annoy anyway. Mine is as quiet as a fly. And don't worry if the LG ac says its dB is less than this ones. Trust me you can't even make any notice it in day to day life. Unless your unit is defective or your outdoor unit is close enough with enough space for the noise to come in from. Because yes the outdoor unit makes noise. But Thankfully my room has thick cement walls and I don't have any windows close to it. So I can't listen all that noise unless I stick my ears to the wall that the outdoor unit is just outside of. I was gonna upload some photos and videos. But damn my lights went out... Now I can't show it in action😔
Excellent Cooling and Great Value for Money!
I am very satisfied with this AC. It cools the room quickly and maintains a comfortable temperature even during hot weather. The operation is smooth and relatively quiet, making it suitable for both daytime use and a peaceful night's sleep. The design looks modern and blends well with the room's interior. The energy efficiency is another plus, helping manage electricity consumption. Overall, the AC offers excellent performance, reliable cooling, and great value for money. A good choice for anyone looking for comfort and efficiency. Highly recommended!

I'm using this model AC for last three months and now giving my feedback about its quality and performance. For making easier to understand the various aspects of this AC I’ve highlighted the points and categorized into the pros and cons. Hope you will find my review and feedback helpful while buying this product. Pros: * The Built Quality is Good, as expected from well-known Japanese Company. * The Convertible Modes are Interesting and energy saving function to run the AC from high capacity mode to at low power consumption mode as per the room occupancy. * The Outdoor Unit self-cleaning technology is amazing that automatically runs the exhaust fan in reverse mode to throughout the dust accumulated on the condenser coil. * Similarly, the indoor unit cleaning feature is also very useful to automatically clean the condenser coil by frosting and defrosting technology. * The power consumption is as per the running mode, but still consumes less power when room temperature reached at the targeted levels. * And the best part is its MirAIe app that allows users to connect the AC through Wi-Fi and control all the functions through the smartphone even from distance location. * The MirAIe app allows setting the temperatures for different hours with the functions like on-timer, off-timer and run the AC at eco mode or powerful mode. * And using this MirAIe app you can also check how much power your AC is consuming hourly, daily, weekly and monthly. * Finally about the cooling , I must say, it is fast as I’m using this 3 start 1.5 ton AC in my living room with the size of 255 (15x17) square fit area. * Apart from giving the prolonged warranty of compressor, I got the 6 years warranty of all the parts at nominal Rs 600, making this AC free-from tension of servicing and maintenance. Cons: * The condenser coil thickness of outdoor unit is thinner than expectations. I don’t know why company has reduced the thickness of the condenser coil, either to cut the cost of manufacturing or to optimize the AC to consume the less power consumption. * The outdoor units self-cleaning technology should also have manual control by the user through remote or MirAIe app. It is disappointing. * And after receiving the product I’ve noticed at some places of condenser coils of indoor units, it is slighted bend or damaged due to manufacturing process or during supply chain but still working. * The outdoor unit makes little extra noise that’s might be disappointing for the users having the limited or indoor space to install the same. Though I’ve placed it on the rooftop. Overall, I’ll highly recommend buying this AC to people looking for a truly smart AC made from Japanese Technology with best cooling system and low power consumption technology. My experience is satisfying with this product and again always prefers to buy the AC from the house of Panasonic and also recommend the same to anyone looking to get a reliable and long-lasting performance cooling system for his room.
Extremely Poor Installation Service and Customer Support by Panasonic
The installation representative has just visited the site, but unfortunately, he lacked the necessary knowledge and expertise. He was unable to calculate the installation charges as per the official rate card and seemed more interested in misleading the customer and pushing them toward more expensive options rather than providing clear and transparent information. It has been **more than a week since I purchased two 1.5 Ton Panasonic ACs, and the installation is still not complete.** The entire experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. To make matters worse, Panasonic's customer care service has been equally pathetic, with no proper support or satisfactory resolution. What makes this situation even more concerning is that I am facing these issues in a metropolitan city like Bengaluru. If customers in a major city have to deal with such unprofessional installation services and ineffective customer support, one can only imagine the difficulties customers in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities might face, where access to timely service and escalation channels could be more limited. This level of service is completely unacceptable from a reputed brand like Panasonic. Customers invest their hard-earned money expecting quality products, professional installation, transparent pricing, and reliable after-sales support. Instead, I have been left chasing the installation team and customer care without a satisfactory outcome. **I strongly urge Panasonic to take immediate action, complete the installation of both ACs without further delay, and seriously review the quality of its installation partners and customer support services.** A brand's reputation depends not only on the products it sells but also on the service and support it provides to its customers.
Go for it
Very good performance, recommended to buy no issues since last 4 months Installation was also seem less Installation charges were as per charge sheet Remote control also works well even wireless is wonderful can be controlled using wifi and mobile app so convenient to use Durable quality Airflow is also good does not take much time to cool the room Very less noisy also
Excellent AC by Panasonic.
AC works excellent. Advanced features. WiFi functionality is awesome. It cool the room quickly. Worth every penny. Writing review after 3 months of use. Amazon delivery and Panasonic service is really good. Go for it.
The cooling performance is excellent, and it cools the room effectively
I am very satisfied with my Panasonic 1.5-ton AC. The cooling performance is excellent, and it cools the room effectively. The AC operates quietly and offers a comfortable experience, even during hot weather. The design is sleek and modern, and the overall build quality is good.
5 star to AC but 3 star to Amazon for major product missing.
Product is good. Very good ac. Installation was smooth. Installer/technician was very professional. BUT the main copper pipe was missing. 3 meter copper pipe which company provides for standard Installation was missing. Amazon should take this very seriously and do a thorough investigation. Though amazon refunded me that money (₹3800) as a gift card.
