Xiaomi L43MB-FIN 43 Inch LED TV Best for Movies with HDR Clarity

The 24W speakers get loud enough for a small or medium room. Dolby Audio, DTS X and DTS Virtual:X give films a wider soundstage than basic TV speakers. For bigger action scenes, a soundbar gives fuller impact.

The Alexa remote uses two AAA batteries. Battery life isn't specified, so there's no clear replacement interval to quote. Its number pad, guide, playback and mute buttons keep normal channel navigation quick.

The 43-inch screen works well for a few-hour movie session. Eye Comfort Mode is useful for evening viewing, especially with the room lights low. A 178-degree viewing angle keeps the picture visible from side seats.

The bezel-less front keeps the TV looking clean. VESA support lets you mount it on the wall, while the stand works on a table. At 5.9kg without the stand, wall installation isn't too difficult.

Samsung Crystal 4K TVs give you Samsung's Tizen interface, while the FX TV runs Fire OS 8. This one has Alexa, Prime Video, Netflix and 32GB storage ready for streaming. Pick Samsung for Tizen; pick this for Fire TV and Alexa.

LG 4K UHD TVs use webOS, while the FX TV uses Fire OS 8. Alexa search and Fire TV app access are stronger reasons to choose this set. Choose LG when you specifically want webOS on every device.

OnePlus 43-inch 4K TVs are a close alternative for basic streaming. The FX TV gets the edge with Fire OS 8, Alexa voice search and the main streaming apps already built in. OnePlus is worth picking only when its interface is already your first choice.

The 4K panel looks sharp on a 43-inch screen. HDR10 and HLG add more contrast and colour depth to supported content. MEMC helps fast sports action look cleaner at 60Hz.

Fire OS 8 has Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar and YouTube built in. The app store lists more than 12,000 apps, with profiles and parental controls for shared viewing. The quad-core A55 processor keeps normal menu movement usable.

Casual console gaming is fine at 4K and 60Hz. The specifications don't list HDMI 2.1, VRR or a dedicated game mode, so serious players won't get those extras. It suits story games and occasional play more than competitive gaming.

The quad-core A55 processor handles menu movement well after the home screen opens. The remote response feels quick, but startup can take a little longer than expected. This is most noticeable when you turn it on and start streaming immediately.

It comes with a one-year comprehensive warranty, and onsite support is listed in the product details. A panel fault should be raised with Xiaomi service as soon as it appears. The listing mentions an extended option, but only the one-year term is clearly specified.

Half the display stopped working after 17 days in one case. That points to a panel fault rather than a picture setting. Check the full screen during installation and contact Xiaomi service immediately if half the panel goes dark.

The 43-inch size fits bedrooms, compact halls and small living rooms well. 4K resolution keeps text and details sharp at normal sofa distance. The wide viewing angle also helps when people sit away from the centre.
