IFB Senator MXN 8012 8 kg Front Load AI evaluated for strong cleaning

Yes. The 8 kg drum takes a bigger household's regular clothes in fewer loads, and shirts, trousers, towels and bedsheets all go in fine. The drum size is the best reason to look at it.

For daily clothes, towels and normal household dirt, the wash quality is good. The machine feels powerful, and there are programmes for cotton, delicates and baby wear. Heavier stains need the right programme and settings.

A little noisy at times, mostly in the high-speed spin. Washing is quieter. Put it on a level floor. Noise is the one real complaint about a machine that otherwise performs well.

It does. More water comes out in the spin, so clothes dry faster on the line, especially after regular daily washing. Towels and thicker fabrics still take longer than lighter things.

AI Wash checks the fabric type and the weight of the load, then sets the wash time and water level to suit. Every load doesn't get the same treatment, which helps when you've got a mix of everyday clothes in the drum.

Active Steam, Baby Wear, Cotton, Delicates and Tub Clean. Baby Wear and Delicates are the gentle ones. Active Steam is for when clothes need freshening up but not a heavy wash.

Yes, for warmer wash cycles on clothes that need deeper cleaning, like towels, cottons and some badly soiled loads. Keep delicate fabrics on the Delicates programme.

Short answer: yes. The stainless steel tub is made for regular washing, so repeated loads aren't a worry, and it suits the 8 kg capacity and daily use. Tub Clean is there too, for looking after the drum.

You can see the selected programme and the time left clearly. Controls are plain buttons, so there's no app or phone involved. Handy for working out when to start the next load.

It has an 8 kg drum, 1200 RPM spinning, AI Wash and a built-in heater. LG makes a wider range of front-loaders, though this IFB keeps the controls and programme list simple. Choose it when capacity matters more to you than app features.

The IFB comes with AI Wash, Active Steam, Baby Wear and a 1200 RPM spin cycle. Bosch changes from series to series, so the programmes and controls won't always line up. It suits a household that wants a bigger daily-wash machine with simple button controls.

This model is about an 8 kg load, AI-based washing and a built-in heater. Samsung's smart controls and programme features vary more across its range. If app control doesn't matter and you just want straightforward washing, go with the IFB.

Child Lock stops buttons being pressed by accident during a cycle, which helps if the machine sits in a busy part of the house. Nobody can change a running programme by mistake either.

Salt water needs extra care because over time it can affect washing machines. This one has been used successfully for years, but if your water is salty, watch the cleaning and maintenance. Ignore the water quality and you could end up with a bigger problem.

It can be. Buy online and leave the follow-up to local dealers, and support gets difficult. One complaint points to poor local support after an Amazon purchase. Check the service contact details before installation, especially in smaller towns.

Four years comprehensive, 10 years on the motor, and spares support listed for 10 years as well. That's stronger cover than most basic front-loaders get.
