Kodak 50MT5011 50 Inch QLED TV Price Comparison & History in India
Buy Now: Kodak 50-Inch QLED Hits Its Lowest Price
At ₹22,999 on Amazon, this Kodak 50-inch TV is at its lowest tracked price. The Kodak TV 50MT5011 Matrix Series reached this level after its July price dropped. Its ₹23,999 average makes today's deal clearly cheaper than its recent norm. I've tracked this price across 233 days, from July 2025 through February 2026. That's a strong sign, because the current price also matches the lowest point recorded.
The same low appeared on Flipkart in October and appeared again on Amazon in February. A casual shopper may miss that platform prices aren't automatically shared. Don't assume both stores share the same deal today. Check seller ratings, delivery charges, installation, and warranty before paying. The Kodak TV 50MT5011 Matrix Series offers 50-inch 4K QLED viewing with Google TV. That combination suits shoppers wanting a large smart screen without stretching their budget. Kodak TV 50MT5011 Matrix Series buyers should act quickly if Amazon stock looks reliable.

You’ll notice the wide viewing angle; you can move to the side and the picture retains depth. Voice control responds without shouting, which is handy for quick searches.
Capacity
With its 50 inches display and HDR 10+ support, bright scenes stay detailed. 550 Candela Per Square Meter brightness helps highlights pop, and 16 GB of memory keeps apps ready. The unit weighs about 9.3 Kilograms and ships with box contents including the TV, remote, manual, two batteries, and a wall mounting kit. The display is designed for a 600 x 400 mm mounting footprint for wall installation.
Controls
Controls center on Voice input and a remote with IR and Bluetooth. The Google TV interface surfaces apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube with simple searches. The remote’s tactile buttons offer a clean press, and the on screen navigation responds crisply, making it easy to switch inputs or tweak settings without fuss.

Construction emphasizes a solid display with QLED color and a clean, flat panel. A 1 year warranty backs the unit, and it is ready for wall mounting with a standard 600 x 400 mm pattern. Box contents include mounting hardware, so setup is straightforward and quick.

Kodak 50MT5011 50 Inch QLED TV FAQs
The two built-in speakers give you Dolby Atmos sound from the TV itself. It feels wider than basic TV audio and works well for everyday shows and films. A soundbar still adds more bass and impact for big movie scenes.
The 4K QLED panel looks sharp, with bright Quantum Dot colour and good detail. HDR10+ gives compatible movies and shows more contrast between highlights and darker scenes. Picture quality is one of the stronger reasons to consider this TV.
Google TV feels quick when opening apps and changing between channels or services. Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Hotstar, and JioCinema are already supported. Voice search also cuts down the time spent typing movie names.
The voice remote handles movie searches and app commands without much typing. It connects through Bluetooth and also has IR, so regular navigation works normally too. Two AA batteries are included in the box.
You get three HDMI ports and two USB ports on the TV. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi cover wireless accessories and internet connection. That setup handles a streaming box, console, and basic USB media without constant cable swapping.
The 178-degree viewing angle suits a sofa setup where people sit off-centre. The flat panel keeps the picture shape familiar from different seats. At 50 inches, it works well as the main screen in a living room.
It uses a VESA 600 x 400 mm mounting pattern. A wall mount is included in the box, so the basic bracket is already covered. The TV weighs 9.3kg with its stand attached.
Kodak TV is the simpler pick if you want 4K QLED, HDR10+, Google TV, and built-in voice search together. TCL's 50-inch range has different models, so the exact rival can change the picture and software comparison. For straightforward family streaming, Kodak covers the important bits without needing extra boxes.
Kodak TV is the better fit when voice search and Dolby Atmos audio matter for family viewing. Google TV brings Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar, SonyLIV, and YouTube together on the home screen. Xiaomi becomes more tempting only when its specific model has a feature you need here.
For movie nights, Kodak TV has a strong setup with 4K QLED, HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos speakers. The 40W audio output also gives it a clear advantage for people not planning a soundbar. Hisense only gets the edge when a particular model offers a picture or audio feature this TV doesn't have.
Screen tilting, shade changes, and poor visibility have happened after only a few months. The display was replaced twice in one case before failing again. That makes the panel the biggest quality concern in this model.
After-sales support is the weak point when a display problem appears. Warranty requests stayed unresolved for months, and service updates did not always match technician visits. The one-year warranty is useful on paper, but getting the problem fixed has been frustrating.
Finding a replacement remote is difficult once the original gets damaged. The remote uses both IR and Bluetooth, so a random universal remote won't cover every function. Keep the original remote safe because it also handles voice control.
Yes, screen mirroring is built into the Google TV software. It works with the TV's wireless setup, so phone content can appear without an HDMI cable. Photos, short videos, and casual sharing are the best use for it.
The 60Hz panel and 8ms response time are fine for casual console gaming. MEMC helps keep motion cleaner during regular video and gameplay scenes. This isn't a high-refresh gaming TV, so 120Hz-focused players should look elsewhere.

I purchased this Kodak 50-inch QLED TV through Amazon in May 2025. Within a few months, during the warranty period, the TV developed serious display issues including screen tilting, shade/discoloration, and poor visibility. I reported the problem during the warranty period and raised multiple warranty service requests through Amazon. Despite receiving acknowledgements for all requests, no effective repair or replacement was provided. What is most disappointing is that I received emails stating that the service had been completed, even though no technician visited my home and no repair work was carried out. For the past several months, I have been contacting Amazon and Kodak through customer care, WhatsApp, emails, and service requests. I repeatedly received assurances that the matter was being escalated and was under process, but the issue remains unresolved. Most recently, I was informed that the warranty period had expired, despite the fact that I reported the defect and submitted warranty claims while the warranty was still valid. My concern is not only the product defect but also the poor after-sales support and the failure to resolve a warranty complaint that has been pending for months. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product due to the lack of effective warranty service and customer support.
Amazing Purchase and Great Service
I was sceptical as we all of committing to a new tv. But to my great delight this has been my best electronic purchase from Amazon till date. Never had an issue since last 6 months, Constant Performance of AV quality and great backend services bybthe seller.

The Kodak TV 50” is an awesome product! The picture quality is stunning – sharp, vibrant, and with excellent color balance. It’s also very fast, with no lag when switching channels or opening apps. Overall, it’s a fantastic TV that exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended!
I'm happy to purchase this product at this cost
It's been 4 months, the picture quality is super nice and crystal clear. It's QLED works really well. If it works for 3 years without any issue, I have made the best investment then
Pathetic TV
One of the worst tvs . Two times the display have gone. Don't buy it. It will be a headache. Worst service team from kodak. I have replaced the Tv twice and then again it has gone.
