HP Pavilion Plus i5 16/512GB 14" Laptop Price Comparison & History in India
Wait: This HP Pavilion Plus Is Too Expensive
At ₹88,990 on Amazon, this HP Pavilion Plus is priced poorly today. That’s roughly 30% above its average of ₹68,575. Prices have been tracked across 88 days, with only three recorded offers. It reached its lowest at ₹63,990 on Amazon, which is the key comparison.
The HP Pavilion Plus ew0107TU has a sharp 1920x1200 IPS screen. It also packs 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD. That makes it a sensible everyday laptop for work, study, browsing, and light creative tasks. Still, the current listing doesn't offer a strong reason to buy immediately. Casual shoppers might miss the earlier Amazon offer. The Flipkart listing was also higher, so switching platforms won't solve the price problem. There's no sign of a genuine bargain at this level right now. The hardware remains capable for normal users. For this HP Pavilion Plus, waiting is the sensible move unless you need it today. Watch for a return near its recorded low before ordering.

HP Pavilion Plus i5 16/512GB 14" Laptop Features & Overview
The HP Laptop ew0107TU is designed for everyday business and casual entertainment. HP Pavilion Plus i5 16/512GB 14" Laptop 14-ew0107TU is AI evaluated for balanced work value with full specs. You’ll notice a crisp 14 inch anti glare display that stays readable under bright light and the micro-edge bezels give you more screen real estate without bulk.
Usage
In day to day work, the device boots quickly thanks to the 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD and 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM. The keyboard is full size with backlighting, and the keys have a soft, reassuring click when pressed. The touchpad responds with a smooth glide and a precise feel, useful when you’re juggling documents and tabs. The system runs Windows 11 Home, and you can connect external displays via the HDMI port or the Thunderbolt 4 USB-C for fast transfers. You hear a balanced audio from Bang & Olufsen speakers—clean but not shouty. The power button offers a subtle but definite tactile feedback when you wake the machine.
Capacity
The 16 GB RAM is welded onboard, leaving no obvious upgrade path, but 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD keeps apps and files snappy. The 14 inch panel with 1920 x 1200 resolution yields sharp text and decent color for both work documents and media. The 68 Wh battery capacity provides respectable endurance for a workday while you stay portable. HP Pavilion Plus i5 16/512GB 14" Laptop earns 81/100.
Controls
Ports include 1 Thunderbolt 4 with USB-C, 1 USB-C, 2 USB-A, and HDMI. The wireless stack covers Wi Fi 6 and Bluetooth for quick peripheral pairing. The backlit keyboard helps you type in dim rooms without looking for the light switch.
Durability
The chassis feels sturdy in natural silver, weighing about 1.38 kilograms. The fan stays relatively quiet and the display stays firm when you open it with one hand. The anti glare coating and LED backlighting keep glare low in variable lighting.
Safety & Installation / Warranty
HP includes a 1 year manufacturer warranty on the device. The webcam offers IR and standard imaging for video calls, with temporal noise reduction to help you look better in low light. Box contents are simple: laptop and charger; you’ll be up and running quickly right out of the box.

HP Pavilion Plus i5 16/512GB 14" Laptop FAQs
The speakers are clear enough for calls and videos, but volume is the weak spot. The dual speakers and B&O audio don't get very loud in a noisy room. Headphones work better when you need more punch.
The 68 Wh battery is good for a normal workday of documents, browsing, and calls. Video playback, high brightness, and heavier multitasking bring the level down faster. Keep brightness sensible if you're trying to stretch it through a long day.
At 1.38 kg, it is easy to carry in a backpack for daily commuting. The 14-inch size fits smaller desks and classroom tables without taking over the space. It also fits well in a small work bag with the charger.
The aluminium chassis keeps the laptop slim at 17.5 mm and doesn't feel flimsy. The 1.38 kg frame is easy to pack for office or college. It has the sort of build that suits regular desk-to-desk travel.
Against the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5, HP Pavilion Plus is the easier pick for a lighter setup with a taller screen. The 16GB RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD suit documents, browser tabs, and calls well. Lenovo makes more sense only if its keyboard feels better to you.
HP Pavilion Plus is the lighter option at 1.38 kg, with a 16:10 screen that gives documents more vertical room. Its 16GB RAM and 13th Gen Core i5 are a strong match for Office, browsing, and video calls. Dell Inspiron 14 becomes the better fit only if you specifically want a larger display.
HP Pavilion Plus is easier to carry, and its 16:10 display works nicely for documents and spreadsheets. The 512GB NVMe SSD and 16GB RAM keep everyday work quick without needing upgrades. ASUS Vivobook 15 is the one to consider if a bigger screen matters more than low carry weight.
The Core i5-1335U feels quick with Office, browser tabs, and video calls open together. 16GB LPDDR5X memory keeps app switching smooth, while the NVMe SSD speeds up booting and launches. Large spreadsheets are manageable, but this is still an everyday laptop rather than a workstation.
The 300-nit IPS panel is comfortable indoors, and the anti-glare coating cuts reflections. In direct sunlight or near a bright window, it can look a little dull. It is better suited to office desks, classrooms, and home use than outdoor work.
The 5MP webcam gives calls a clearer picture than a basic laptop camera. The dual-array microphones pick up speech properly in normal indoor meetings. It works well for team calls, interviews, and online classes.
Intel Iris Xe handles casual games and basic photo work, but it isn't built for modern AAA titles. The Core i5 and 16GB RAM help editing apps, while integrated graphics remain the limit. For office tasks and light creative work, it performs well enough.
Yes, USB-C charging is supported alongside the 65W charger. It gives you another way to top up at a desk, in a meeting room, or while travelling. A compatible charger is still needed for proper charging.
512GB NVMe storage is enough for documents, software, photos, and regular project files. Windows and recovery files take some of that space, so you won't see the full 512GB available. Large video libraries and game installs will fill it much faster.
One unit became very hot around the vents during simple tasks, even while browsing and watching videos. Keep the rear vents clear when using it on a bed or soft surface. If it heats up quickly from the first session, ask for a replacement.
Check the serial number and warranty date as soon as the laptop arrives. Some delivered units showed the warranty had started months earlier, leaving very little cover. Contact HP and arrange a return if the dates don't match the purchase.
Check the seal, chassis, storage, and warranty before setting it up. Scratches, an already-started warranty, or used software point to an old unit. Take photos and request a replacement or return straight away.
Real & Verified Reviews of HP Pavilion Plus i5 16/512GB 14" Laptop
Just okay
Good quality product
Perfect product!
Smooth Performance, Stylish Design
Excellent laptop for work and daily use! I've been using the HP Pavilion for a while now, and I'm very happy with its performance. The laptop is fast, lightweight, and has a premium build quality. It boots up quickly, handles multitasking smoothly, and the display is bright and clear. The keyboard is comfortable for long hours of typing, and the battery life is good for everyday use. The speakers and overall design are also impressive. It's a great choice for students, professionals, and anyone looking for a reliable laptop. Overall, it's definitely worth the price and I would recommend it.
Expired Warranty
The product itself was fine but when I tried to register the product it showed warranty has already expired. When contacted Amazon customer service I was told they do not have any further quantity available so initiated a return and refund. The refund took quite a while to be received which was disappointing. Overall disppointed.
HP Pavilion Plus – Premium Performance, Perfectly Balanced
This HP Pavilion Plus is a sleek, premium, and comfortable laptop with excellent performance, a beautiful display, and a great keyboard. The Core i5 processor and 16GB RAM handle work, multitasking, and everyday tasks smoothly. Its lightweight design and overall build quality make it a fantastic choice for my both professional and personal use. The only thing missing is 2TB storage, with that upgrade, it would be perfect!
No issues like heating or poor backup.
Product is nice, only drawback is at this price you are not getting fingerprint sensor. Else everything is fine - good battery backup, no heating issues.
I received a used laptop instead of a new one, and it does not match the product description.
I received the used laptop, and upon checking, I noticed several issues: The warranty started 11 months ago, so it will expire in just 1 month. The hard disk size is 476 GB instead of 512 GB. The laptop has scratches and signs of wear. The Copilot subscription has already been used, and only 3 months remain instead of the advertised 12-month free subscription. Performance also not ok as expected. So return the product.
Ok ok kind of laptop. not sure worth the price.
Laptop is good functionality wise. but screen brightness is low. little dull feeling. and also battery gets drained fast.
Return the laptop
I purchased an HP laptop from Amazon recently, but the laptop is getting excessively heated even during normal usage such as browsing, watching videos, or basic office work. The heating issue starts within a short time of usage, and the laptop surface as well as the area near the vents becomes very hot. This is affecting the performance and usability of the laptop, and I am concerned about possible hardware damage or safety issues. Since the product is newly purchased, I request you to kindly arrange replacement
Warranty expired
While everything else was okay with the laptop, the warranty was expired. I called HP customer service and told them about the issue, they said they will update the warranty. But I wasn't sure if they would actually do anything about it so I returned the laptop. HP customer service called a few days later to inform they had updated the warranty but I told them I had already returned it. I ended up buying a new laptop from a store instead. On a different note, open box inspection was not done by the delivery agent. When I myself tried to do the open box inspection, he seemed in a rush to just complete his delivery and be done with it.
